In a touching tribute to the wrestler, WWE said it was 'saddened' by his death and reflected on his decorated career.
'Many of ECW's greatest matches featured Sabu doing battle with the likes of WWE Hall of Famers Rob Van Dam and Mick Foley, as well as The Sandman and his greatest rival, Tazz,' it said.

Nikki Garcia's real life divorce was referenced in her WWE comeback

Liv Morgan mocked Nikki Garcia's divorce from Artem Chigvintsev during her WWE return. The 41-year-old WWE Hall of Famer - who is known in the wrestling world as Nikki Bella - made her comeback on last night's (09.06.25) episode of 'Monday Night Raw' on Netflix, and she had an in-character confrontation with the 31-year-old Women's Tag Team Champion. As part of the storyline, Liv interrupted Nikka's comeback speech and said: "You know what , Nikki? You're lucky. You're lucky I wasn't around during your career because I would've been champion and beaten you around then too. "But you know what? As I'm talking, I realise why you didn't mention me. You didn't mention me because you're jealous of me. "You're jealous of me because I have everything that you don't. I have respect, I have a championship, and I have a man!" Nikki fired back with comments about Liv's on-screen boyfriend Dominik Mysterio, before getting laid out in the middle of the ring. The scripted exchange - which appears to be setting up a match between the two superstars at 'WWE Evolution' on July 13 - was a reference to Nikki's real life split from her ex-husband Artem. Nikki and the former 'Dancing With The Stars' professional settled their divorce in November, three months after his domestic violence arrest - which was dropped with no charges - and last month she insisted she's not looking to date again at the moment. Speaking on SiriusXM's 'The Nikki and Brie Show', she said: "I really put myself out there in different situations, and went out of my comfort zone, whether it was with business on appearances, showing up, you know, packing the calendar, the schedule. "I did things that I learned lessons from, whether it worked or it didn't work, it was successful or not, I really put myself out there. "I went on some dates. Not ready for it yet, but I put myself out there. Tried it out. Not ready for it." Her twin sister Brie said she was "happy" her sibling tried to date again,. Nikki added: "[I] just wanted to get my feet a little wet and I just realized I'm not ready for this, but you know, I could have just stayed in hotel rooms and just, you know, on nights that would've been wrapped up at like 7pm. "I went and had some drinks and had conversations and realised that that's not what I want to do right now. Well, at least not date-wise."

Angry crowd heckle stars and their newborn at WWE event

Kourtney Kardashian, her husband Travis Barker and their baby Rocky Thirteen were booed by the crowd at a WWE event in Los Angeles at the weekend. The reality TV star and Blink-182 drummer made a rare public appearance with their one-year-old son and the crowd had a mixed response. Footage shared to social media captured the moment the trio appeared on the big screen inside the Intuit Dome and the odd reception they were hit with. Kardashian was lovingly bouncing Rocky on her lap and protecting his face from the cameras as Barker smiled and threw up a peace sign, at the same time a chorus of boos and cheers bellowed out from a packed stadium. But the trio didn't stick around for long, staying only for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match before leaving. If you'd like to view this content, please adjust your . The outing comes after Kardashian appeared on her sister Khloe's podcast Khloe in Wonder Land in May where they discussed their relationship with Caitlyn Jenner. They spoke of very different experiences of growing up with the former Olympian — who was still known as Bruce Jenner while married to their mother Kris Jenner. Kourtney confessed she did not have happy memories while Khloe praised Caitlyn's efforts as a stepparent. She went on to add that she felt Caitlyn 'tried to be controlling and bossy.' Baby Rocky is Kourtney's fourth child. She shares three children — Mason, Penelope and Reign — with ex Scott Disick. Travis also has two children — Landon and Alabama — with ex Shanna Moakler.

Dave Bautista wants to be more than 'just a movie star'

Dave Bautista "never wanted to be just a movie star". The former WWE legend has swapped wrestling for Hollywood with roles in the likes of 'Guardians of the Galaxy', 'Knock at the Cabin' and 'The Killing Game', and he insisted his movie choices are inspired more by challenging himself as an actor than earning the most money. He told Sports Illustrated: "I never wanted to be just a movie star or chase a paycheque. 'I wanted to prove I could stand on stage with the best actors in the world and hold my own. That's what drives me.' He didn't want to follow in the footsteps of fellow WWE alumni John Cena and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson by simply embracing the "action movie star" tropes. He explained: "I didn't want to just step away from wrestling and become another action movie star. "I wanted to prove I could be an actor. I wanted to be respected by my peers, just like I was in wrestling. "Respect has always meant more to me than accolades... In wrestling, the respect I earned from people like The Undertaker, Triple H, and Eddie Guerrero meant everything to me. "It's the same in Hollywood. I want to feel like I deserve to be here, that I've earned my place among the best.' And now, the former 'James Bond' star is keen to take his love for storytelling behind the camera with producting, while directing is a long term goal. He said: "As an actor, I love telling stories. That passion has transitioned into producing. I want to be involved in creating stories, not just performing them. "I want to make meaningful films, ones that connect with people... Being a producer means I can shape the stories I want to tell. "It's about more than being in front of the camera; it's about contributing to the art as a whole.' The 'Dune' actor previously opened up on how he hopes his star keeps ascending in order for him to "make smaller films". Bautista told The Hollywood Reporter: "It's funny, I want to be a bigger star so I can make smaller films, that's my goal. "Those are the films I love. But the fastest route to that is being a commodity; if you're a big star, you're a commodity. "So that's the thing – people are willing to listen to you, they're willing to hear you out if you can bring something to the table, and you bring something to the table when you're a big star. "So I'm hoping to grow my name and become enough of a star where I can make smaller independent films."
