This touchscreen toaster is straight out of 'The Jetsons' — and it's a hot 50% off
Would you rather eat bread or save bread? It's a trick question, because with this deal on the viral Whall Touchscreen Toaster, you can do both. This compact appliance has impressed TikTokers and Amazon shoppers alike thanks to its sleek appearance, fun display and functionality — oh, and the fact that it looks like something out of a futuristic smart home, but without the sky-high price tag. At $51 (down from $110) it's now over 50% off, so grab this little slice of kitchen heaven before the discount pops away.
While this isn't the type of high-tech smart toaster that includes extras like a panini press (like this $350 model), its touchscreen certainly elevates it compared with your standard bread-browning appliance. It also looks more expensive than its price tag would suggest, and at $50 (down from $91), this is the lowest we've seen it.
Most household toasters do a decent job of taking bread from soft to crispy — you know, the bare minimum. But what makes the touchscreen toaster deserving of a spot on your counter is its foolproof functionality, visual settings and all-around good looks. If it's gonna be on display, it should be aesthetically pleasing!
With six types of bread (which are charmingly depicted on the screen) to choose from, along with six pictured shade preferences, opting for your desired combo is a piece of cake (well, toast). "It's like an Apple iPad," wrote one reviewer. "Really sophisticated toaster." From bagels and English muffins to waffles and pastries, the world is your bakery.
Its extra-wide slots can accommodate thick breads like Texas toast, and once you make your selections, a countdown will appear on the screen (you'll also hear a beep once it's ready, but you can mute it if you'd like). There's also a defrost function, a 30-second reheat option and a cancel button that'll stop the cooking.
Amazon customers are toasting the Whall with delicious five-star ratings and over 1,000 were bought in the past month.
"Toasters aren't often as good as they used to be," lamented one satisfied shopper. "I tried and returned two before I purchased my Whall. It toasts evenly, has multiple settings (including defrost) and looks good on the counter. The pop-up button is a nice feature too. It lets you check [the] progress on items you haven't toasted before. You won't be disappointed."
"This unit works beautifully," raved another. "I love the wide slots for bagels and the special bagel button, which toasts the cut/open side and doesn't burn the crusty side. Multiple toasting levels make it easy to go from Pop-Tarts to toasted bread. The best toaster I've had in years."
"I am so pleased with the performance of this toaster!" exclaimed a third. "Once I remembered to put my English muffins in correctly, they toasted up with a beautiful crisp! The toast color option is easy to use for multiple users. We all know how many 'clicks' over that we individually prefer! I would buy again!"
Beware of flying bread! "The only issue I have is that sometimes it pops the toast up so high it goes out of the toaster, but that's rare," shared an otherwise happy buyer. "Very simple and easy to use, which is exactly what I was looking for. Looks sleek and [it's] small enough to fit in a small space."
"The only thing I would say can be a negative is the toaster is so lightweight that when you press the lever, the toaster can tip toward you," shared a final fan. "I just place my hand on top and then push [the] lever to lower [the] toast down."
Keep your precious fingies safe with this handy add-on.
If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)

Apple Music Gets 3 New Features With iOS 26: WWDC 2025 Recap
Apple Music in iOS 26 Apple's latest iOS 26 update for iPhone brings a slew of changes to system apps. It makes the Photos app usable again and includes new features within Messages, Wallet, Maps, and more. But with the storm of information, one of the apps that could've gone under the radar during Apple's WWDC announcement is Apple Music. The Cupertino tech giant is supercharging Apple Music with new capabilities. To be specific, Apple is adding three new features to its Music app with iOS 26 and here's why they matter. This feature helps you understand the words in your favorite non-English tracks. If you're listening to Spanish country music or a French romantic song, you'll now see the lyrics translated in real time. It's built to make music more accessible and lyrics understandable, regardless of language barriers. The translations appear in a smaller font than the usual lyrics font. I installed the iOS 26 Developer Beta 1 to check if it also translates Hindi songs (Hindi being my primary language) to English. Thankfully, it doesn't. My Bollywood music retains its original lyrics while I can get Gasolina translated in real time. Apple Music's Lyrics Pronunciation does exactly what it says—it teaches you how to sing the lyrics correctly. I'm looking forward to understanding how it works so I can sing along to my favorite non-English and non-Hindi songs without butchering the chorus. Under Settings > Apps > Music, Apple now offers a Lyrics menu. You can choose whether lyrics or pronunciation appears larger when both are displayed. I haven't seen pronunciation in Music so far, but I expect it to roll out to more songs gradually. Automix in Apple Music on iOS 26 can turn your playlists into a DJ-like continuous listening experience. It lives under Settings > Apps > Music > Song Transitions, which replaces the Crossfade toggle. Using time stretching and beat matching, Apple Music now transitions between songs like a DJ would. It can theoretically remove silences between song transitions and deliver a clean, flowing vibe to your playlist. Automix is stated to transition songs 'at the perfect moment, based on analytics of the key and tempo of the music.' You can still find and toggle Crossfade just below Automix. All of these new Apple Music features will come to supported iPhones with the iOS 26 update.

Leaders applaud Amazon's "historic investment" in Pennsylvania data centers
State leaders and Amazon came together on Monday to announce a historic investment. Amazon is pumping $20 billion into Pennsylvania to create high-tech cloud computing and artificial intelligence innovation campuses. Governor Josh Shapiro says it's the largest private sector investment in the commonwealth's history. "An initial announcement of about $20 billion in multiple state-of-the-art data centers across our commonwealth that will power our global economy and the future of artificial intelligence," said Governor Shapiro. "These facilities are really going to serve as the backbone of America's AI infrastructure, helping make sure that the United States continues to remain at the forefront of global technology innovation," said Kevin Miller, vice president of global data centers for Amazon Web Services. The data centers will be built in Luzerne County and a former U.S. Steel mill in Bucks County. But Amazon says other parts of Pennsylvania are under consideration. "It is just the beginning, because our administration is actively engaged with Amazon on additional sites in our commonwealth," Shapiro said. The governor said the investment is expected to create at least 1,250 jobs and thousands of local construction jobs. Pennsylvania U.S. Senator Dave McCormick applauded the announcement and said it builds momentum ahead of his upcoming Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit in Pittsburgh next month. "Pennsylvania is blessed; we have amazing assets. We have the second-largest energy capability in the country, the fourth-largest natural gas reserves in the world. We have the absolute best skilled workforce, hardest-working workforce," said McCormick. Carnegie Mellon University President Farnam Jahanian released a statement about the Amazon investment announcement, saying, "This historic investment by AWS – and the research and innovation network it envisions – will deliver unprecedented computing power and strengthen Pennsylvania's position as the nation's premier AI and energy hub. It will also create jobs in skilled trades, hasten the speed of innovation and supercharge startup growth. Carnegie Mellon University, working with research universities across Pennsylvania, is ready to help lead planning efforts for this research network, and we congratulate Governor Josh Shapiro, AWS and stakeholders across the Commonwealth on this extraordinary partnership."

All Amazon Echo speakers go on sale! Which one are you getting?
Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority All of these offers come directly from Amazon, and they are 'limited time deals.' These discounts apply to all color versions available. Amazon Echo 4th-Generation Amazon Echo Amazon Echo A spherical smart speaker for everyone's home. The Amazon Echo (4th Generation) features a fresh new look and improved audio quality. If you're heavily invested in all things smart home, Alexa is a great virtual assistant to have around. See price at Amazon Save $45.00 Limited Time Deal! Now that the Echo Studio is discontinued, the Amazon Echo 4th-Generation stands tall as the best smart speaker in its lineup. The device goes on sale pretty often, but usually only the Twilight Blue and Glacier White versions go on sale. This time around, the Charcoal model is included in the sale, making it a nice time to get the speaker. I personally own this one, and still love it. You're in for a treat. The Amazon Echo 4th-Gen offers the perfect balance between quality and price. It looks much like an Echo Dot, with that spherical design that makes the series so iconic. The main difference is that this one is bigger at 5.7 x 5.7 x 5.2in. If you don't mind the bigger size, you'll be rewarded with a really nice experience. This one gets better audio quality, thanks to the 3.0-inch neodymium woofer and two 0.8-inch tweeters. All other Echo speakers have a single driver, so there is a significant difference in sound quality. The audio will be much fuller and more dynamic with the Amazon Echo, and the bass will also be much deeper. Of course, this is a smart speaker, so the Amazon Echo is powered by Alexa. You can use voice commands to play music, request information, solve math problems, set reminders, create shopping lists, call people, control smart homes, and much more. Because this is the higher-end model, you also get a few extra features. For starters, it works as a Zigbee hub, which means you can control all your smart home devices with it, without overcrowding your router. It also has a temperature sensor and motion detection, so you can automate smart home actions based on these. Oh, and if you use eero mesh routers, the Amazon Echo can work as a repeater for your Wi-Fi network. Amazon Echo Dot Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen) Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen) Alexa and voice controlled audio, for cheap. See price at Amazon Save $15.00 Limited Time Deal! The full-sized Echo is great, but not everyone needs to upgrade to the top option. Especially if you're trying to use it in a bedroom or smaller space. The Amazon Echo Dot 5th-Generation has the same spherical design, but it is smaller at 3.9 x 3.9 x 3.5in. It's also significantly more affordable, but it's still plenty featureful. There's a 1.73-inch speaker packed inside, so don't expect it to host any dance parties. The audio is pretty decent, though, considering the small size and lower price point. Of course, it is still Alexa-powered, and you'll get all those digital assistant features. Additionally, it still has most of the extra features, such as the temperature sensor, motion detection, and eero Mesh Wi-Fi capabilities. It misses on the Zgbee hub, but many of you don't really care much for that. Amazon Echo Pop Amazon Echo Pop Amazon Echo Pop A cheap and tiny Alexa smart speaker. A great entry or extension to the Alexa smart home ecosystem. The Echo Pop has a sleek design with a front-firing speaker that sits nicely in an office or on a bedside table. See price at Amazon Save $15.00 Limited Time Deal! The smallest and cutest smart speaker coming from the online retailer is the Amazon Echo Pop. It is much smaller at 3.9 x 3.3 x 3.6in. This one also comes in super fun pastel colors, which make it look adorable. It definitely offers a more basic smart speaker experience, but some of you don't need all the bells and whistles, and it also happens to be the cheapest Echo option. You'll find a decent 1.95-inch speaker inside, which sounds pretty good for the price and size, but is nothing spectacular. It would work great as a bedside smart speaker, or you could have it on your desk. It still gets eero mesh support, but it lacks all other extra features. This means there is no temperature sensor, motion detection, or Zigbee hub. That said, this one doesn't get any extras, so there's no temperature sensor, motion detection, or Zigbee hub. Like the others, though, it does get eero mesh Wi-Fi support. Are you signing up for one of these Echo smart speakers? Make sure to act quickly. Some of these discounts are the best we've seen in 2025. We're not sure how long they will stick around.
