Men armed with machete barged into Dollar General, but got away with empty bags, Gwinnett police say
Gwinnett County police are searching for two men who robbed a Dollar General last month, but they didn't actually get away with any money.
Police say two men, one of whom had a machete, walked into the store on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road near Dean Road on May 19.

According to the police report, both of the store's employees said they were held down.
One of the employees said she was walked over to the safe and ordered to hand over the money inside. She told police that she handed them three red deposit bags, and they ran out of the store, got into a white Jeep Wrangler and drove off.

She told police that the bags were empty because they had already made their deposits for the day. She says the men never checked them before leaving.
Police say anyone who recognizes the suspects should contact investigators at 770-513-5300.

Man killed after argument at Northside nightclub, police say
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who shot and killed a man on Norwood Avenue. The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Friday in the parking lot of the Elevation Lounge. Air India Ahmedabad crash: Over 100 DNA samples recovered but identification remains difficult, say forensic experts

Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) officials are working around the clock at the postmortem centre, where all bodies have been moved for examination. Dr. Naresh Kumar Soni, a senior professor and forensic expert, said, 'It was quite a horrifying accident. Given the condition of the wreckage and the extent of burns and trauma, visual identification is not possible in most cases.' He added that DNA testing is underway, and identification will only be confirmed once there is a match with family samples. 'We are collecting samples based on available evidence, and there is a risk of DNA degradation due to rising temperatures. That's why our team is working swiftly, but with utmost care.' The Boeing 787-8 aircraft, bound for London, crashed moments after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport, killing all 241 on board and at least 76 people on the ground, taking the confirmed death toll to 317.
