General Conference is this weekend — What to expect if you're heading to Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY — is set to host its semi-annual General Conference at the . The event draws in more than 100,000 Latter-day Saints to the Conference Center twice each year.
The Church encourages people to use public transit due to the influx of people to the Temple Square area, especially amid ongoing renovations which are not expected to be completed until 2027.
North Temple Street will open and close intermittently over the weekend. North Temple between Main Street and West Temple Street will be closed two hours ahead of the . The road will reopen in a limited capacity during the sessions and then close again.
There will be three sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday, all but one of which are two hours long. The first session will begin at 10 a.m., meaning traffic will be impacted as early as 8 a.m. on both days.

Gavin Gustafson of the told ABC4.com that those attending General Conference can use their ticket to General Conference sessions as fare to ride to and from the Conference Center.

Gustafson said UTA will be ready to provide surge service on an as-needed basis. Along with that, there will be extra TRAX service over the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, UTA will have extra cars on Blue Line trains, and on Sunday there will be two extra Blue Line trains before and after each conference session.

New bus line launches in Downtown Fort Worth, replacing Molly the Trolley
A new bus line is launching in Fort Worth, helping visitors and residents alike get around Cowtown. The Blue Line is replacing Molly the Trolley, which will officially end its services on June 7, according to Trinity Metro. The Blue Line will begin its service the following day, June 8. "Much like the Orange Line, Trinity Metro's Blue Line will provide a necessary connection for residents and tourists to some of Fort Worth's iconic destinations," said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. "The color-coded lines are very appealing for riders and the overall look raises the bar for an outstanding transit experience." The Blue Line will connect downtown shops, dining and hotels and have stops near the Fort Worth Convention Center, Fort Worth Water Gardens and Sundance Square. The free service will be available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with stops every seven minutes. "Offering rides every 7 minutes is very convenient and a great incentive for riders to hop on board," said Bob Jameson, president and CEO of Visit Fort Worth. "The complimentary bus route supports a growing convention business in our downtown and is one more example of the welcome extended to our visitors."

Summer is starting for many across Central Indiana, and several Indianapolis pools will open for swimmers on Saturday, May 31. Here are the Central Indiana pools and when they open: The following pools and beaches open Saturday, May 31, according to a news release from Indy Parks: Brookside Park: 3500 Brookside Pkwy S. Drive Eagle Creek Beach: 7840 W. 56th St. Ellenberger Park: 5301 E. St Clair St. Frederick Douglass Park: 1425 E. 25th St. Garfield Park: 2450 S. Shelby St. Indy Island Indoor Pool: 8300 E.
