'I couldn't believe it,' Arnold began. 'I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie.'
'What is going on here? This is crazy,' he continued. 'Then I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in 'Conan' and 'Terminator,' so don't complain about it.' But it was a shock to me that you were following in my footsteps so closely.'

Patrick, who portrayed privileged finance bro Saxon Ratliff in Season 3 of 'The White Lotus,' got naked in the very first episode of the season.
He previously discussed watching the scene with his famous family, including his mom, Maria Shriver, and how his divorced parents had 'different reactions to seeing me completely nude.'
'My dad thought it was hilarious,' the 'Gen V' actor told 'Today' in March. 'My mom didn't even really understand what was happening.'

Arnold previously commented on his son's 'White Lotus' nude scene in February shortly after attending the Mike White-created show's Season 3 premiere.
'I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene,' the 'Conan' star wrote on Instagram at the time, 'but what can I say – the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.'
Elsewhere in the father-son duo's 'Actors on Actors' interview, Patrick discussed navigating Hollywood as a nepo baby.

'Mike White said that it comes with baggage, the idea that when you have successful parents like I do with you and mom, there's an added level of what other people think,' Patrick explained.
'Mike was worried about, if he cast me, what other people would think,' he continued. 'Which they did – they did care about that; people said I got the role because of you and mom.'
The 'Scream Queens' star then revealed that he considered using a stage name early in his career to distance himself from his celebrity parents.

'There were times earlier in my career where I was wondering, does it make sense to go under an alias?' Patrick said. 'It took a while for me to get to a point where I was less worried about living in your shadow versus wanting to do it the way I thought I should do it.'
Later in the interview, Patrick said it 'makes sense' that he would follow the same career path as his well-known father.
'We talked about this idea of nepotism,' he said, 'but when you grow up and your parents do a specific job, it makes sense that you go and work in that world.'

Arnold agreed and added that his breakout star son 'never asked' him to do anything that would give him a leg up in Hollywood.
'You have never asked me to call a studio or to call an agent,' the 'Batman & Robin' star revealed. 'You never asked me for advice when it comes to acting itself.'
'You're a rare breed,' Arnold concluded, 'and I'm very, very proud of you.'
Besides Patrick, Arnold and Shriver also share children Christopher, 27, Christina, 33, and Katherine, 35.

The couple split in 2011 after Arnold revealed that he fathered another son, Joseph Baena, now 27, in 1997 with the family's housekeeper.
Arnold and Shriver's divorce was finalized in December 2021.

New trend ‘grandma showers' are another way for family to celebrate newborns — but are they ‘lovely' or just ‘peak narcissism'?
Is this a not-so-grand plan? In recent years, a new kind of baby shower has taken root — not for the parents-to-be, but for the grandparents. 'Grandma showers' or 'grandbaby showers' aim to celebrate growing lineage, especially those about to welcome their child's first offspring. While some view it as a heartwarming way to honor a new chapter in life, others criticize it as an inappropriate — even narcissistic — trend that shifts focus away from the growing family. Advertisement 'It's a big deal to become a new grandparent and it deserves to be celebrated, but it's not the same as becoming a parent,' seasoned grandmom-of-three DeeDee Moore told TODAY. 6 'Grandma showers' are the latest parenting trend to take hold, but they've stirred up debate about whether they're appropriate or just a distraction. New Africa – Advertisement In a recent TikTok video, Moore posed the divisive question 'What do you think about granny showers?' and offered two positions: 'Opinion one: Grandmother showers are a lovely way to welcome a friend or co-worker into their new role. Opinion two: Granny showers are inappropriate and tacky gift grabs. So, which is it?' And it's that last part, especially — the gift expectations — that has people talking. Traditionally, baby showers were created to support new parents, often younger couples who needed help setting up a nursery. As Moore points out, that doesn't always translate well to grandparents, who often are more financially stable and don't necessarily need as much. Advertisement 'It's harder to justify a shower for a grandmother who can likely afford most of the things she needs and probably won't need that many things to begin with,' said Moore, who runs the advice site More Than Grand. 6 Grandmother-of-three DeeDee Moore (above) relayed details of the debate, including highlighting that some thought it could be a 'lovely' way to celebrate a newborn. @morethangrand/TikTok 6 Moore also noted that the celebrations could be seen as 'inappropriate and tacky gift grabs' for grandparents. @morethangrand/TikTok The conversation exploded on TikTok, where responses ranged from supportive to scathing. Advertisement Some called the idea 'peak narcissism,' while others were puzzled by the notion of a 'new role' deserving gifts. 'Inappropriate and tacky. If the person is becoming a grandparent, they've already had their own children,' one person wrote. 'The grandchild isn't a 'do-over' for them.' 6 Traditionally, baby showers were created to support new parents. elnariz – Still, not everyone is against the idea. 'I've never heard of it, but I think it's great,' one commenter wrote. Others suggested smaller, more intimate gatherings: 'A cute lunch with some goodies would be great.' For some, the showers are deeply meaningful. Alexandra Rugh shared the touching story of her great-grandmother's surprise 'grandma shower' organized by her sewing group. Advertisement The celebration, held shortly before heart surgery, gave her a sense of joy and purpose during a difficult time. 'At 73 years old, my Nannie didn't know if she would make it through the surgery,' Rugh told HuffPost. 'Her biggest fear was dying and not being able to hold her first and only great-grandchild. I'm happy to say that Nannie survived the surgery and was able to hold my daughter in her arms when she was just 1 week old.' 6 Are 'grandma showers' a look-at-me trend — or a sincere appreciation for new grandkids? Dan Talson – 6 For some, 'grandbaby showers' can be a thoughtful experience. boryanam – Advertisement Others haven't had such positive experiences — but, according to etiquette experts, the key is balance. Lizzie Post of the Emily Post Institute believes small gatherings to acknowledge grandparents can be sweet, but cautions against anything that mimics the formality or scale of a traditional baby shower. 'It's really awesome to celebrate new grandparents,' she told HuffPost. Advertisement 'But we caution people against throwing parties like this and having them get out of control.' Moore suggests alternatives, like 'meal-prep showers,' where friends prepare food for the new parents while also celebrating the grandparents' new role. But, like many evolving traditions, granny showers walk a fine line between heartfelt and over-the-top. At their best, they're joyful celebrations of a new life stage. At their worst, they risk overshadowing the very people at the heart of the occasion: the parents and their baby. Advertisement Context is everything. A small get-together with close friends? Lovely. A full-blown registry and event that rivals the main baby shower? Maybe not. In the end, experts say the rule of thumb is simple: celebrate thoughtfully — and keep the baby, not the spotlight, at the center.

They picked wisely. They're so in love and it makes me so happy," added the proud mom. Read the original article on People

Billy Joel Talks About His Two Suicides Attempts in New Documentary
For the first time, Billy Joel has publicly opened up about two suicide attempts amid intense emotional struggles. In his latest documentary, the iconic musician opens up about the personal challenges he faced following a complicated relationship. He also opened up about how these experiences shaped both his life and career. Warning: The following contains discussions of suicide and mental health struggles. In the recently premiered documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes, the legendary singer-songwriter has delved into a troubled chapter of his early life, including two suicide attempts. The film, which debuted on June 4, 2025, at the Tribeca Festival in New York, gives an emotional insight into Joel's struggles. During his early 20s, Joel was a member of the band Attila and lived with his bandmate Jon Small, Small's wife Elizabeth Weber, and their child. Over time, Joel developed feelings for Elizabeth and eventually confessed to Small, 'I'm in love with your wife.' This confession shattered both the band and the friendship between Joel and Small. (via PEOPLE) After the breakup, Joel's life spiraled out of control. Homeless and overwhelmed by depression, he found himself sleeping in laundromats and battling suicidal thoughts. He recalls, 'So I figured, 'That's it. I don't want to live anymore.' I was just in a lot of pain and it was sort of like why hang out, tomorrow is going to be just like today is and today sucks. So, I just thought I'd end it all.' His sister Judy Molinari tried to help by giving him sleeping pills, but Joel took too many and fell into a coma that lasted several days. Despite surviving the first attempt, Joel's struggles continued. On a second occasion, he ingested a bottle of lemon Pledge, but Small intervened and took him to the hospital. Joel reflected on this, saying, 'Even though our friendship was blowing up, Jon saved my life.' Following these attempts, Joel checked himself into a mental health facility for observation, a decision that became a turning point in his recovery. He said, 'I got out of the observation ward, and I thought to myself, you can utilize all those emotions to channel that stuff into music.' The documentary is set to air on HBO in July.
