41 Gadgets And Gizmos That'll Make You Feel Like You're Living In The Future

41 Gadgets And Gizmos That'll Make You Feel Like You're Living In The Future

Buzz Feed22-03-2025

1. An outlet light for anyone who has accidentally walked into a wall one (or two) times too many when getting up in the middle for a glass of water — this lil' gadget will subtly light your way without the need for a bulkier option.
Amazon
Promising review:"I don't like night-lights because they take up the wall outlet, so this was the perfect solution. I put it in the guest bath and at night with the bathroom door open this provides just enough light to guide a person to the bathroom without blinding them. I ended up putting two on my hallway switches as well. What a great product." — LMK
Get it from Amazon for $22.98+ (available in four colors and three sizes).
2. A solar-powered bird feeder with a built-in AI-powered camera that'll show you a live video of your new feathered friends as they snack away and promptly tell you what kind of species they are! Your productivity is about to go waaaaay down — but you'll learn so much about birds (which is more important than getting your laundry done, right?)
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I bought one for my girlfriend for Christmas and ended up having to buy one for my mother-in-law and my mother because they liked it so much. Quality construction, does everything a ring camera does and so much more. Identifies all of the birds, stores everything so you can go back and watch the videos. Great price point. We love our bird camera!!" — Joseph Mikula
Get it from Amazon for $99.99 (available in four colors).
3. A portable HP photo printer that'll make you the most popular person at any party — it can connect to multiple devices, so your friends can easily print their pics while you're out having a good time. The printed photos have sticky backings that make them easy to display (or place around your pal's house as a prank 😉).
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I was tired of running to the store for a few pictures and waiting for half an hour. This is what I decided to try and it was super easy — a no-brainer. I loved it and it didn't take much effort to make a project for my kids." — Monrudee kavan
Get it from Amazon for $79.99+ (available in five colors and as a starter bundle).
4. An alarm clock on wheels you'll quickly develop a complicated relationship with — it'll roll around, jump, shake, make robotic sounds and essentially just annoy you until you *finally* have to get out of bed, tackle it, and start your day.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Clocky is a small business!
Promising review:"My friends and family all know how terrible I am at waking up in the morning. Every alarm clock I have ever used has been defeated by my quick 'hit snooze button' reflexes. So much so I find myself rushing for the door more often than I'd like. All that changed when I found Clocky. CLOCKY WORKS! Clocky moves so I can't get comfortable or used to where the snooze button is placed. I easily carry Clocky to any room in the house I choose to get cozy, relax, and watch some TV 'til I fall asleep on a work night. I LOVE CLOCKY and highly recommend giving it a chance because you will fall in love with the results. I am now actively waking up at the original time I set my alarm to and also staying up so I can have a productive day. Get Clocky and save your day! ☆☆☆☆☆" — Valued Customer
Get it from Amazon for $35.99 (available in seven colors).
5. A Bluetooth scrolling remote that'll take your laziness trait to the next level but leave you feeling smug at the same time for working smarter, not harder. You can set this bad boy up, get under your covers, and enjoy some seriously cozy, hands-free scrolling.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
This nifty gadget also works with a Kindle and can also pair with a phone camera to take photos or video from up to 33 feet away.
Promising review:"Life changing. I'm a lazy girl who is way too obsessed with TikTok. This little remote makes it possible to just set my phone down, get cozy under a blanket and do it allll with my thumb under the covers. I'm sooo happy with this. It's a little tight on my finger but I just wear it a little higher where it isn't uncomfortable. It was very easy to set up for my Android device. It takes a USB-C charger (provided) and idk. I just love it. I'll probably buy these for the rest of my life." — Allison
Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in six colors).
6. A Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced parents will be able to rely on to help them make their baby a bottle in a flash — which is *much* appreciated when they're screaming their head off because they've decided they're hungry. I've literally told every single parent or parent-to-be in my life that THIS machine is what's keeping me going — it is the light of my life (next to my kids, of course).
The number one item I simply could not live without is the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced. Literally I would happily spend my last penny on this product because it has made that much of a difference in my life over the last few years.
It's essentially a Keurig for baby bottles. It has the capability of mixing formula with the proper amount of water and dispensing it at the *perfect* temperature for baby. It has a button on it so I can easily choose how many ounces I want for a bottle, depending on how recently the baby has eaten sometimes we need only need 2 oz instead of 4 oz, etc. The bottle settings will stay in place so while my baby is screaming (she gets hangry!) I just have to place a bottle under the dispenser and hit the 'start' button. It's so easy I can literally do it with one hand while holding her.
The spout has to be cleaned every four bottles, which I just do with hot water and a paper towel, and the water needs to be refilled once a day (like a Keurig). Other than that, all I have to do is ensure the formula container is filled. My husband set it up like a baby bar cart in the nursery so we don't have to stumble down our stairs to the kitchen while bleary-eyed and half asleep in the middle of the night. It really is a godsend and I don't know what I'd do without it!
Get it from Amazon for $198.
7. And a Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro, because why not add another gadget into the mix? This magical machine washes, sterilizes, AND dries bottles, breast pump parts, and other accessories with natural steam. Take it from someone who genuinely knows — this will save you SO much time so you can do one of the other million things on your to-do list instead of hangin' out with a bottle brush.
When I had my first child I used the Baby Brezza Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer, which is absolutely fantastic, but still had to hand wash and scrub the bottles before popping them into the machine. This new FANTASTIC model takes that completely out of the equation. I got it before having my daughter and it has truly changed my life — not an exaggeration. I haven't used a bottle brush ONCE and she's almost 8 months old! It has six different cleaning modes, but I always use the 88-minute one that does all three features. The only somewhat downside is you'll need to purchase detergent tablets, but I promise you it's worth it.
Here's what you'll need to do: fill the front partition of the machine with your bottles/nipples (or pump parts, whatever) and drop the detergent tablet into the bottom. Next, empty any water from previous cycles from the water basin and replace it back in the machine. Finally, fill the top container with clean (I used filtered) water up to the max line mark, then pop that back in as well. Choose which cycle you want to run and, BOOM, you're done! The whole water dumping/refilling process probably takes about...... five minutes? It is a bit bulky, so rather than keep ours in the kitchen we leave on top of our washing machine. It's also worth noting it holds four bottles at once, so we typically need to run it twice a day. TL;DR: It's a miracle machine.
Get it from Amazon for $299.99.
8. A compact Kindle for any lit lover with such a long TBR list that your nightstand simply can't contain it anymore — this option will let you continue to expand your shelf virtually and take your book on-the-go without taking up too much precious space in your bag that's already filled the brim with old receipts, hand sanitizer, mints, an old granola bar, the list goes on.
I have a Kindle and surprisingly have become a big fan of it — especially when traveling. While I absolutely prefer a hardcover book, it's nearly impossible to put more than two (which is a stretch in itself) in my suitcase along with my clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. I read most of my books these days through the Libby app (all you need is a library card for access) which can be used via your phone or Kindle. No need to spend tons of money on novels when I simply am not someone who rereads them! I like that I can use this one near water without fear of it getting destroyed (yikes).
Promising review: "Love the new Kindle! It's a perfect carry and go size, it is so easy to use and set up took less than 5 minutes! The screen is clear and it is easy to switch between light and dark mode. The matcha color is also a huge plus! I am so pleased with this new purchase!" — Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $109.99 (available in two colors and with or without ads/ a Kindle Unlimited subscription).
9. A self-adhesive SwitchBot Smart Switch Button Pusher you'll likely want to buy for every single switch in your home (apologies) as you'll be able to use it to transform *any* device into a smart one! Once you set it up, you'll be able to use Google, Alexa, or an app on your phone to control it. Technology, man.
Reviewers love this because it doesn't require you to "smart enable" other parts of your home. I need to get one of these for my husband who drags himself out of bed every morning to turn on his espresso machine.
Promising review:" This little bot has vastly improved my quality of life! I've stickered it to my air conditioner unit in two separate apartments, and it's made controlling the room temp a breeze (no pun intended). Do note, in order to use it with Alexa, you will need a separate component. That said, you can control it within its own app as is. I highly recommend getting it set up with Alexa, though. It automatically paired with Alexa, and it works off of Bluetooth, so it's super easy to detect and set up. It's exactly what I wanted!" — Danny Conner
Get it from Amazon for $29+ (available in white and black).
10. A toothbrush holder and dispenser, because mornings are hard enough to cope with so you might as well mount this bad boy and let it dispense your toothpaste for you. It's the little things!
Amazon
Promising review:"I love this item! I saw it originally on TikTok and thought it would be perfect for our bathroom! We have one bathroom upstairs and five people who use it. This cleared up so much counter space for us! There are ventilation holes where the cups go to help make sure they dry properly. The toothpaste dispenser has really been working to get every last drop out of the tube. Would definitely recommend for a family or kids bathroom. There is also a little storage compartment behind the toothpaste that is great for extra brushes, cotton swabs, or flossers." — Sariyah J
Get it from Amazon for $15.99+ (available in four colors).
11. A high-tech trash can you'll probably cry tears of joy over if you hate germs, because now you'll never have to physically touch the garbage can again.
Simplehuman also makes custom-fit liners for each of their trash cans, which fit perfectly in the can's back compartment and conveniently dispenses from inside the can. I have this very garbage can and often finding myself awkwardly waving my hand over OTHER ones expecting them to magically open like mine does. Oops.
Promising review:"It looks sharp and is so convenient. I love how well the trash bags fit, how the lid keeps the bag hidden, and that the bin stores the spare bags in a handy little compartment. The step lid seems sturdy, closes quietly, and keeps odors contained. The snug bag fit also ensures trash fills the bag well, instead of awkwardly. The 45-liter size is perfect for our two-person home and holds more than I thought it would. We're no longer overfilling our bin and changing the bag is an absolutely breeze since you don't have to totally remove the larger lid — you just flip it up. I'm so happy with this trash can." — Sally Bidwell
Get it from Amazon for $119.99+ (available in three sizes and colors).
12. A reusable smartnotebook to seamlessly combine your love of handwritten notes with the ease of taking them digitally (here's to you, Rocketbook app!). As you write in this seemingly magical notebook your notes will *also* be recorded in the app. Is it 2025 or 3025?
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
This set includes the notebook, a Pilot Frixion pen, and a microfiber cloth to wipe it all away. Once wiped away they'll be transported through cloud services with the Rocketbook app, which is available for both iOS and Android.
Promising review:"Love my Rocketbook Fusion! I thought this looked cool and so I ordered one. Then I joined a group on social media that is for owners of Rocketbooks and my brain has been blown. There is soooooo much one can do with these notebooks! I am loving having it to take notes while I'm on a Zoom call for work. I am more engaged and I process more when I'm taking notes in writing. I've always had stacks of notebooks. Small ones for different projects at work. Another for personal thoughts. Another for a nonprofit I'm on the board of. Of course a planner or two for good measure. Now I have one. One thin notebook. And several fun pens... Now I can meal plan, project track, journal, and take notes all in one place! Rocketbook also puts out some great videos with ideas on how to personalize the pages for your individual needs. Possibilities are endless!" — Nikola Sievert
Get it from Amazon for $28.99+ (available in two sizes and in 14 colors).
13. An undetectable laptop mouse jiggler that'll slide right into a USB port so you can sneak away to catch your breath and grab a coffee without anyone wondering why you've been offline for so long.
www.amazon.com, Amazon
Promising review:"Saves me from auto logouts! My brother recommended this handy gadget. I work from home and have three monitors. When I leave my desk for lunch, the computer goes to sleep and when I come back, everything is logged out and whatever was on three monitors ends up on two. SO frustrating. This is programmable for three settings and I use it on the minimal movement so when I come back, everything is just as I left it. Revolutionary! Just remember to turn it on!" — Isaiah
Get it from Amazon for $8.99.
14. An electric potato peeler to transform spuds into mashed potatoes at record speed. If for some bizarre reason you *don't* want potatoes with every meal, it'll also work on other fruits 'n' veggies like like apples and kiwis.
www.youtube.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"Love it! It's light and easy to use. When I use a potato peeler I was always peeling too much potato with the peel. This blade is fine and only gets the skin, in seconds. Except for the 'poles' of the potato, but I don't mind. It's easy to clean if you have a sprayer to just rinse off the spikes where you insert your potatoes. Small enough and doesn't take up much room." — yestfl
Get it from Amazon for $19.98.
15. Motorized custom shades that'll help you make even the sunniest of days into cozy ones fit for movie marathons — all you'll have to do is click your remote or ask Alexa or Google to lower them for you!
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review: "While a bit spendy, these blinds are great! The customer service is impeccable, and they are very responsive and were able to work with my poor measuring skills to get me sorted with a new set that only required a motor swap! After doing it twice because I put the reset button the wrong way, I'm back installed, and they work great!!!! Thank you!!" — Johnny X.
Get them from Amazon for $153.99+ (available in 14 colors; all orders are custom sized).
16. A chic Aura picture frame with the ability to display a seemingly endless number of photos that can be added by everyone in your family thanks to its easy-to-use app! Send everyone in your life an invite and grant them the ability to upload pics to your frame (if you dare).
Aura is a small business! My husband and I have one of these in our home (our daughter, who is 9-months-old cries whenever my husband shows up on the screen because she's obsessed with him) and have also gifted it to his grandparents and both of our parents. We're diehards for this digital frame, to say the least. Instead of sending everyone updated photos of the grandkids (my kids) directly, I was able to create one album that automatically updates onto their frames. Everyone feels in the loop and is constantly commenting about how much they love being able to see the kids daily. You can also invite other people to upload their photos/videos to the Aura app — and there is unlimited storage on each frame!
Promising review:"I had been looking for years for something just like this! Not only is this a very clear picture frame, the app it uses is exactly what I wanted for my parents. Somewhere that the whole family could leave pictures and notes to each other privately. It's like a personal Instagram for only my family. The initial set up was rather difficult but not a single issue after that. We have been using this frame and app for nearly one year and it has worked flawlessly. I was worried about spending so much money on a digital frame and it not being what I wanted. But this is a true piece of quality and worth every penny." — Nicole
Get it it from Amazon for $139+ (available in nine colors).
17. A robotic vacuum, because you and I both know you don't want to spend a weekend morning trying to conquer all of the pet hair, debris, and other unexplainable messes that have found their way into your home. Kick your feet up, put on a podcast, and let this lil' gadget do its thing.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
This robo vac can easily move between hard floors and low- to medium-pile carpets/rugs and can pick up all the accumulated dust, dirt, and hair while you go about your day. It has an infrared sensor to avoid knocking into obstacles (like furniture and walls) and drop-sensing tech so it won't fall down stairs and off ledges. And if it starts to run low on battery, it'll just return to its base for a recharge! Reviewer do recommend keeping stray items like socks and cords off the floor before running this.
Promising review:"This robot vacuum is incredible! I have three dogs and a cat; this vacuum is a time saver. I run it each day and it has done an incredible job of keeping pet hair, dirt and debris picked up in my home. Works well on carpet, hardwood, and tile floors. Wish I had purchased it sooner!" — t. hampton

20. A bagless, touchless stationary vacuum that'll fantastically suck up all the dust and debris you sweep its way — Rosie from The Jetsons is shaking!!!
www.amazon.com, Amazon
Promising review:"This is my second EyeVac. I use it in my salon. It is very difficult to sweep up tiny fragments of hair with a regular dustpan and broom. The eyevac eliminates that problem- all the small particles are sucked into the machine. And it is quite easy to dump out when it is full!" — Christy Palmer

It was so worth it — even though the price may seem higher compared to other sellers, this is for sure a good investment piece. The quality is top notch, the strap that goes around your head is comfortable, and most importantly, the duration of each mode is long enough that it doesn't interrupt your rest. It also comes with a USB-C charging cable, travel pouch, keychain holder, quick-start guide, and a manual.
Twelve South is a small business that has been creating innovative tech accessories since 2009.
BuzzFeed editor Chelsea Stuart has this gadget and is a fan:
" Last year I splurged on some AirPod Maxes and for the amount of money I threw down on them, I was determined to get as much use out of them as possible and that included on plane rides. With the AirFly Pro, I can connect my headphones via Bluetooth and use the seat-back screen without having to fiddle with the free wired headphones they hand out that 1.) have horrible sound quality and 2.) don't fit my ears in the slightest (I swear my ear canals are tiny or something??)."
Get it from Amazon for $54.99+ (available in three models).
24. A sunrise alarm clock to wake you up so pleasantly you'll forget for a second that you're in your own room and likely running late for work instead of naturally rising with the sun at a beachside resort.
www.amazon.com
This lovely lil' gadget has seven different light settings, calming "wake up" noises, and can be set to gradually get brighter at 30, 20, or 10 minutes.
Promising review:"I got this recommendation from TikTok and it really has helped especially with Oregon winters where the sun is not out by the time the alarm rings. It has several peaceful alarm settings and even has night music to put you to sleep. The sunrise with the alarm piano is what I play to wake me up every morning and it is a way better way than to wake up to an annoying phone alarm." — Amazon Customer

26. A Samsung TV that'll disguise itself as an elegant picture frame when it's not in use so you can *finally* live out your dream of treating your home like a museum. Are we at the Louvre or your one-bedroom apartment? I can barely tell the difference!
Mallory Mower / BuzzFeed, Sally Elshorafa / BuzzFeed
I own this TV and absolutely adore it — it's really helped tie my living room together and I love swapping out the "picture" we display on it for each season.
BuzzFeed writer Mallory Mower has and loves her frame TV as well. She said:
"This is honest and truly the best splurge I have ever made. It has massively upgraded the look in my living room. My husband loves the photography options and I love all the classical paintings – as someone who loves changing up my decor, being able to update the display images has been so fun. The quality is fantastic while watching movies and TV...but I'm pretty sure I love it as a piece of art in my home even more."
BuzzFeed Home Editor Sally Elshorafa is a fan:
"This TV was such a splurge for me, but I got it on sale last Cyber Monday so I at least got a really good deal. I love, love, love that when it's not on it looks like a realistic piece of art. There's so many different pieces of art to choose from — from contemporary photography to classic works from the greats like Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. You can pick the style and color of the mat, too. When it comes to watching TV, it's crystal clear. I should note that I got a custom brown bezel because I'm extremely extra when it comes to interior design."
27. An electric waterproof bubble massage mat complete with a built-in heater and an aroma clip for essential oil aromatherapy. Just imagine how wonderful this will feel after a long workout or a long day.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:" This product provides a great massage technique for my back muscles. I experience a lot of pain and tension in my shoulders. And I have chronic pain in my lower back. I also like the aromatherapy pad. What a great, soothing, and relaxing experience for the low cost." — Octavia

28. A Nanit monitor and wall mount to help you keep a watchful eye on your babe while they sleep — you can also easily see stats on how long they've been asleep or if they're standing and not-so-patiently waiting for you to come scoop 'em up.
I switched to the Nanit monitoring system when my daughter was born because the app has an incredible split-screen option that lets me watch both kiddos at once — it's been a game changer. It's super easy to set up, and once you've done so, there's nothing more to do but the occasional software update. The app itself is simple: it shows you a view of your kiddo's crib, notes how long they've been asleep, if they're crying, or if they're standing. The audio and picture are so clear (including the night mode), and the camera itself is unobtrusive to my kids' rooms' decor. I also love that even if I'm out (rarely) I can check in on my sleeping babies for some peace of mind.
Promising review:"This baby monitor is an absolute parenting game-changer — a solid 10/10 in every possible way! The seamless synchronization with your phone, even when you're away from home, is revolutionary. The real-time alerts for sound and motion keep you informed about every move your little one makes. The standout feature is the ability to meticulously track your baby's sleep patterns, capturing every waking moment, putting down, and sweet falling asleep. Revisiting memories of your baby sleeping is an emotional treasure, and the expert advice on optimizing sleep for your child is a priceless addition. If you seek a baby monitor that seamlessly integrates advanced technology with practical parenting insights, look no further. This monitor has elevated my parenting journey, offering unparalleled peace of mind and heartwarming memories. A resounding 10/10!" — Savannah Wooden
Get it from Amazon for $299.99.
29. A Baby Shusher because even though it may seem silly to buy a gadget that literally makes a sound you can make on your own for free, you'll be happy to have it come 2 a.m. when you're exhausted and *really* not in the mood to continue 'shhh'ing repeatedly.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
The Baby Shusher is safe to use in a crib, has adjustable volume, and it can be set to make noise for 15- or 30-minute intervals. Additionally, it comes from a small business.
Promising review:" I was so tired of 'shushing.' Literally, I shushed so hard and for so long, it made me light-headed. My baby has serious FOMO and fights naps like the plague. This helps so much! Even during the worst fits, this helps calm her, and she's out in minutes. Great for the car too!" — Jami
Get it from Amazon for $34.99.
30. And a Munchkin UV-sterilizing diaper pail you'll be SO happy you purchased. The UV light is said to kill staph, E. coli and klebsiella, and odor-causing bacteria.
Munchkin
I put this in my toddler's room and it has been SUCH a game changer. Our previous diaper pail got the job done but was very hard to clean and the yucky smell lingered FOREVER. This one from Munchkin has fully solved that issue for us. I was reluctant to try it out because I wasn't sure how I felt about not being able to use regular ol' garbage bags in it — but it's already proven itself to be worth it. I'm not a scientist or a doctor so I honestly don't know if the UV light kills bacteria, but I do have a very sensitive sense of smell and this pail has made it possible for me to toss out dirty diapers without gagging. It absolutely keeps the scent contained and for that reason alone it's worth the splurge. Naturally I also have one for my daughter's nursery as well — and double the amount of bag refills. 😅
Get it from Amazon for $129.99.
31. A splurge-worthy Dyson Airstrait that'll change the way you straighten your hair forever — it uses directional air flow (no metal plates!) to both dry and straighten your hair in minutes. Seriously, it only took me 10 minutes to do my hair directly from the shower!
Heather Braga / BuzzFeed
I've had the pleasure of testing out the Dyson Airstrait and, OMG, what an incredible piece of technology. Yes, I called this "tech" instead of a beauty tool. While it is both of these things, I was amazed by the gadget-ness of it right off the bat. I literally had to select on an LCD screen what language MY STRAIGHTENER should be set to...wild. Anyways! The Airstrait has the ability to straighten both wet or dry hair — and does without the use of damaging hot plates. It uses directional airflow to smooth and straighten hair and, honestly, it is a pretty magical experience. The biggest learning curve for me was realizing the copper pieces (where the fan lives) need to face outward so you're not blowing your hair all over the place. The fan increases when you clamp the Airstrait around your hair (HOW DOES IT KNOW!?) and pauses entirely when you set it down (seen in the GIF to the left). Additionally, I have a toddler and am very limited on time. With this gadget I was able to take my hair from directly-from-the-shower wet to natural-looking straight hair in only TEN MINUTES. This is going to be such a game changer for my life!!! It's definitely worth the splurge. Add this to your holiday wish list or, you know, get it now.
Get it from Amazon for $499 (available in four colors).
32. Or a rotating Beachwaver curling iron featuring the ability to basically curl your hair for you while you stand around watching YouTube videos. Technology these days, man.
Beachwaver
BuzzFeed editor Elizabeth Lilly loves hers! She said:
"I've used about every kind of hair styling tool on the planet and had given up on curling irons with clamps. I was fully a curling wand girlie because I'm adept at heat styling and it gave me covetable mermaid waves I wanted. Then I tried a Beachwaver and haven't looked back since. I have them in two barrel sizes and now can zone out while I do my hair. The directional buttons for the tool are easy to use and if I accidentally press the button for the opposite way of which I'd like the barrel to spin, it's a quick and easy correction. I try all sorts of products for my job but this has quickly become one that I talk about all the time."

33. A Philips compact pasta maker for anyone who is a pasta snob and prefers it freshly made but is simply sick and tired of going out for dinner. Toss your ingredients into the machine and let it prep Sunday dinner for ya. 🍝
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
It comes with shaping discs for spaghetti, fettuccine, penne, pappardelle, tagliatelle, angel hair, and lasagna. Plus, there's an included recipe book for meal inspiration.
Promising review:"I was just as skeptical as you are. I, too, have been doing the old school — make the dough, roll it out, run it through a pasta machine, etc. — method. It's a production, all for AMAZING pasta. With this, you put the ingredients in, push a button, and watch for AMAZING pasta to be extruded. I had hoped I'd be able to multitask a bit more, but it extrudes so fast there isn't much time for other tasks between cutting it. But I think that seems reasonable. The other thing to consider is that you have to be VERY exact with the measurements of the ingredients. I've found weighing them works best. The recipes in the included book work great." — Conversio

34. A Furbo camera that's an absolute must-have for pet parents — you'll be able to check on Fido at any time and will even receive push notifications when your pup is barking so you can talk to them through the app to calm them and even toss them a treat!
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
It features real-time two-way audio, color night vision, and a 360-degree rotating 1080p camera.
Promising review: "Having cameras inside the house are nice for checking on the dogs. Having a feeder where you can watch your dogs eat is better. Having a camera that can swivel to check where your dogs went and feed them? Perfect. The setup was easy, and I was up and running in no time. I have no regrets making this purchase, and I've gotten my dogs used to the new camera, and they definitely enjoy all the treats being dispensed. It's also nice to be able to talk to the pups and stop them from doing stuff through the mic. Highly recommend for people who aren't at home a lot and worry about their pets and just want to give them some loving while you're busy." — Eugene

Amazon, www.amazon.com
The sleek speaker features a high-fidelity stereo soundstage, aka incredible-sounding music, but without a clunky, overbearing footprint. I recently got one and can't wait for it to warm up to truly test it in The Great Outdoors. For now, the sound quality in my house has been a 10/10.
Promising review: " The Sonos Move 2 is an exceptional speaker that delivers amazing sound quality wherever you go. I recently used it at the tennis court and a campsite, and the Bluetooth audio performance was crystal clear and powerful, even in open spaces. I was pleasantly surprised by how light it felt — it's much easier to carry around than I expected. At home, it seamlessly connected to WiFi, offering the convenience of streaming music without interruptions. The versatility of this speaker makes it worth every penny. Whether indoors or outdoors, the Sonos Move 2 delivers outstanding sound with impressive portability. Highly recommended!" — Scott Wu

40. A seriously impressive xBloom coffee machine bundle that'll transform you into a barista seemingly overnight — this spectacular machine lets you use whole beans in a pod-like system to craft cafe-quality pour-over drinks from your home. xBloom
This special bundle includes the original machine, Pair Cupworks' limited-edition Valentine's coffee, an Onyx's Terroir sippiong chocolate, and two KINTO mugs (designed in Japan)! You can use whatever beans you like with the machine's grinder feature to make your drinks daily. Look out, Starbies. You've got some serious competition!

Get it from xBloom Coffee for $499.
41. And a Dyson WashG1 wet cleaner — one of their latest innovations that'll be an investment worth making. It magically glides across hard floors and thoroughly removes debris, stains, hair (!!!) and other liquids with just water (though you can add detergent if you'd like). You'll be amazed to see how dirty the water becomes in the tank while you clean!
Dyson / Via www.instagram.com
I have this bad boy and lemme tell you — it is worth every single penny. Yes, it's pricey, but my home is primarily tile and wood floors and I have two little kids (who basically love on said floors). It uses microfiber rollers to clean and does so so well you'd think there was some sort of magic involved in the making of it. You don't need to do repeated passes to see results — the water in the bottom tank turned so dark my husband and I were horrified (as we mop and vacuum regularly!). After his first try my husband said, "Goodbye, mop!" It's lightweight, which is a huge perk, and the LCD screen lets you select various hydration levels and tells you how much battery time is left. Personally, my favorite highlight is that even though it is a functioning mop of sorts that uses water to clean my floors don't stay wet for very long at all. You can literally walk over the spots you cleaned moments later! It also cleans itself, which is fantastic. Definitely worth the splurge.
Get it from Dyson for $699.99.

LGBTQ Representation In Movies Hits 3-Year Low, GLAAD Finds

After reaching a record high in 2022, LGBTQ representation continues to decline in movies. On Wednesday, GLAAD released the 13th edition of its Studio Responsibility Index (SRI), which found that LGBTQ-inclusive films dropped to 23.6% of releases from 10 top studio distributors during the 2024 calendar year, down from 27.3% in 2023 and 28.5% in 2022. More from Deadline Pride Month Viewing: 20 Buzzy LGBTQ Movies Of 2025 'I Don't Understand You's Husband Writing-Directing Duo Talks "Horror Movie" Adoption Experience, "Amazing" Italian Crew & Their Son's Cameo 'Queer as Folk' Cast Reuniting For 25th Anniversary At Pride Live! Hollywood, Plus 'Golden Girls' Birthday & Norman Lear Tribute The SRI also found that, only two films (less than 1%) featured transgender characters; 37% of LGBTQ characters had less than one minute of screen time; only 27% had more than 10 minutes of screen time, down from 38% last year; LGBTQ characters of color made up the lowest percentage since 2019 at 36%; and there were no LGBTQ characters living with HIV in any of the 250 films tracker. 'This year's findings are a wake-up call to the industry. At a time when LGBTQ people are facing unprecedented attacks in politics and news media, film must be a space for visibility and truth,' said Sarah Kate Ellis, GLAAD president and CEO. 'Representation isn't about checking a box — it's about whose stories get told, whose lives are valued, and creating worlds that mirror our own society today. When done authentically, LGBTQ representation builds audience and buzz, while humanizing LGBTQ people as those in power are actively working to take away our humanity.' Meanwhile, gender parity was reached among LGBTQ characters for the first time in five years, at 50% women, 48% men and 2% nonbinary; and A24 was the only studio to receive a 'Good' rating with the highest percentage of LGBTQ films. Looking at releases from A24, Amazon, Apple TV+, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount Global, Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. Discovery, as well as their subsidiaries and streaming services, films were judged based on the basic standard for meaningful LGBTQ inclusion, as outlined by GLAAD's Vito Russo Test, named after a co-founder of the organization. The 2024 titles that passed the Vito Russo Test include Love Lies Bleeding (A24), Problemista (A24), My Old Ass (Amazon), Drive-Away Dolls (NBCUniversal), Mean Girls (Paramount Pictures), Fancy Dance (Apple TV+), Good Grief (Netflix), Rez Ball (Netflix), Sweethearts (Warner Bros. Discovery), Housekeeping for Beginners (NBCUniversal), The Radleys (Lionsgate), Ricky Stanicky (Amazon), Between the Temples (Sony Pictures Entertainment) and Prom Dates (The Walt Disney Company). Following the Trump administration's attacks on DEI and recent attempt to cancel Pride Month, several LGBTQ films are finding their ways to the screen this year. Last-Minute Father's Day Gift Idea: An Infomercial Icon for 27% Off

If you're still blanking on what to buy Pops for Father's Day, I come with deliverance. We've assembled the best last-minute Father's Day gifts, all of which either off super-fast shipping or require none at all. You won't be the black sheep of the family this year — or if you are, it's not because failed to get Dad a gift. But there are even more great gift ideas popping up and catching our eye with each passing second — that can still make it to your papa if you act quick. The Magic Bullet, aka the GOAT of small and idiot-proof (trust me) blenders, is currently 27 percent off, and if you order today, it will arrive before Sunday. I have a surprising amount of fondness for the informercial-famous Magic Bullet. I'm not just talking about the seamless pleasure of using the small appliance, which is revered for its ability to pulverize everything from onions to ice at the touch — actually, it's more like a bop — of the top of its blending chamber. Decades later, the Bullet is still my Proustian appliance of choice, reminding me of simpler days spent sitting on a shag carpet, slamming Ben & Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and watching its dancing blades steal the show from all the other As Seen on TV products. (Minus the Shake Weight, of course.) The first Bullet I blasted off was actually at the house of my then best friend's dad, who was very in-the-know, loading up on DVDs and treating his kids to the spoils of the Furby universe. All of this to say: I think every self-described 'hip and food-loving dad' has, at some point in his life, dreamed of firing up a Magic Bullet. Luckily, the Magic Bullet of today is more affordable than it was decades ago, and you don't have to order it with a rotary phone. This saucy little model, for example, is an 11-piece set that includes BPA-free plastic cups for blending, a 250-watt motor base, a to-go lid, and a 10-second recipe guide. You know, so your dad can finally make that iconic omelet from the infomercial. The Magic Bullet is 27% off on Amazon . A Brumate Era 40-ounce water bottle featuring a *genius* design with a metal straw inside but a silicone straw on top for drinking comfort that seamlessly locks in place so you'll never find yourself drenched after tipping it a bit too far. Lumify Eye Drops, which are *so* beloved on TikTok they've been selling left and right on Amazon! Reviewers adore them because they reduce redness in their eyes nearly instantly — an absolute must-have if you haven't been getting much sleep thanks to your all-too-busy schedule. A HappyLight sunlamp with seemingly magical properties to help improve your energy levels and mood. It's a no-brainer buy for anyone who works into the wee hours of the right and could really benefit from a sunlight-like boost to keep them going. SweatBlock wipes that'll become your saving grace if you're running around so much, you're constantly dripping in sweat. These babies are prescription strength and designed to take on hyperhidrosis, nervous sweating, and hormonal sweating. These wipes did NOT come to play! Sweet dreams, eyeballs. You've earned a break. Breathe Right nasal strips your partner will thank the heavens for, especially if you're as tired as Post Malone's tattoos say he is. These handy strips increase nasal airflow to help prevent snoring and relieve congestion. A Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask that'll work harder than Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey mining diamonds. Apply it before you hit the hay to reap the benefits (firmer skin, more elasticity, minimized pores) while you dream. An outlet light for anyone who has accidentally walked into a wall one (or two) times too many when getting up in the middle for a glass of water — this lil' gadget will subtly light your way without the need for a bulkier option. A set of light-dimming stickers that'll take your gadgets and gizmos down a peg in the obnoxious department and help you get some quality sleep without the interference of annoying lights. An alarm clock on wheels you'll quickly develop a complicated relationship with — it'll roll around, jump, shake, make robotic sounds and essentially just annoy you until you *finally* have to get out of bed, tackle it, and start your day. Laneige Lip Glowy Balm in a variety of delectable scents — regardless of whether you commit to "Gummy Bear" or "Grapefruit" you'll be rewarded with hydrated and soft lips all day long. A Click & Carry Grocery Bag Carrier you likely saw on Shark Tank and thought "Wow, that's exactly what is missing from my life." Clip it onto your bags (it can lift up to 80 pounds!) sling 'em over your shoulder and be on your merry way. Mighty Patch hydrocolloid stickers that'll save you when a big ol' pimple pops up the night before the date you've been excited about all week (and you SHOULD be — it's with that cute guy from the coffee shop you've been daydreaming about asking out for months!). Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream featuring scent notes of vanilla, pistachio, and salted caramel you'll enjoy applying to your skin just as much as you'd like it as an ice cream sundae. It's also filled with vitamin E, caffeine, coconut oil, and guarana extract to help smooth, firm, and hydrate your skin. A reading light you can wrap around your neck, in case you have no interest in fumbling with a clip-on light while you turn the pages of your book. Reviewers have also said it's great if you tend to fall asleep while reading, leaving your overhead lights on in the process. Beckham Hotel Collection Bed Pillows because you and I both know the ones you're currently resting your head on at night are looking (and feeling) like sheets of computer paper. It's time for you to upgrade your sleeping situation, friend! Plus a duvet cover set complete with one cover and two shams that'll make you feel like a sergeant of the Sleepy Squad when you turn down your bed and climb on in for the night. I Dew Care's "Tap Secret" mattifying powder shampoo is benzene-free, comes in five hair colors, and will be your savior when, oops, you've overslept again before work. Sleepyhead? Certainly not you!!! A motivating daily planner that literally says "You've got this!" at the top — it'll also look oh-so-cute on your desk or fridge and has sections to keep track of appointments, how much water you're drinking, a to-do list, what you ate (meal prep, perhaps?!) and a general notes/doodling area. The Wand, a handheld filter designed to remove the histamines and sulfites in alcohol that may trigger headaches and hangovers. This lil' gadget will have you singing out "blesssss my souuuuul" like one of the Muses from Hercules. A back pain relief gel pack you can wear hot *or* cold for anyone who feels it is way too soon in their life to constantly be muttering "ouuuuuch, my back!" Saem Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick — it'll reduce the under-eye circles and puffiness you're prone to having if "Sleepy" is your middle name, but you're simply not catching enough Zzzs these days. A big shout out to the glacial waters it's formulated with, amiright? Skin1004 Zombie Pack Face Masks that'll make you temporarily look like a zombie while you impatiently wait for season two of The Last of Us (and the return of Pedro Pascal to our screens). This entertaining mask will tighten your pores and minimize the appearance of wrinkles while providing you with the opportunity to take some *very* silly selfies. Bio-Oil, which reviewers swear helps to diminish scars and stretch marks so well it should probably be called "bye-bye oil." It *also* does a fabulous job moisturizing sensitive skin. It's filled with rosemary, lavender, chamomile, vitamin A, vitamin E, and PurCellin oil to help keep your skin feeling (and looking!) great. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream that'll become your most cherished beauty product — it'll help you out whether your under-eye bags are courtesy of your nocturnal infant or you drank a cup of coffee too late in the day when you couldn't stop yawning during your afternoon meeting. CND SolarOil — a must-have for anyone who is tired of cracked, brittle nails and wants to try and fix 'em once and for all. You and your manicurist will be hugging and jumping for joy once you see the end results. Elizavecca Collagen Protein Treatment only asks for a mere five minutes of your time and transforms hair from drab to fab — yes, seriously, only 300 seconds will do the trick! Not to mention, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Cosrx Snail Mucin 96% Power Repairing Essence that might actually be the nectar of the skincare gods — it soothes damaged skin, repairs dark spots, absorbs quickly, and will leave your face feeling delightfully moisturized. Olaplex Hair Perfector No 3 Repairing Treatment, designed to help strengthen all hair types (it treats each strand on a molecular level!) and restore your locks back to a beautiful, shiny, Disney Princess–like state. A moisturizing saline gel that'll help everyone and anyone fight the good fight against their biggest allergies nemesis — a drippy, chapped nose. A reusable HiccAway straw for anyone who is sick and tired of using old-school methods (holding your breath, being scared half to death, etc.) to get rid of pesky hiccups — place it in a shallow glass of water, sip a few times, and say farewell to annoying hiccups! A Take-n-Slide medication tracker you'll pat yourself on the back for investing in on the all-too-frequent super busy days when you haven't even had a chance to sit down, let alone recall if you took your pills properly. A practical folding treadmill you can place right under your desk to get your steps in while tuning into yet another meeting that could've been an email — no more letting Martha from finance rob you of your precious time! Get ready to crush your work *and* fitness goals all at once. A fruit-infuser water bottle for anyone who simply can't bring themselves to drink enough water because, honestly, it's a little boring. This one will allow you to give it a much-needed boost of flavor. It'll taste like you're relaxing at the spa even if you're stuck in rush hour traffic or perusing the aisles of Target. A portable pack of soap sheets, because entering a public bathroom is grime-y enough without having to worry, "will there be soap left in the dispenser???" These will melt away in your hands and ensure they'll be squeaky clean. And a trio of Touchland spray hand sanitizersthat'll make banishing germs seem trendy! Everyone's gonna want a spritz once they see you pulling this handy-dandy sanitizer out of your bag.
