Commit or quit? Before you make a move, consider these key zodiac dates for relationships in 2025
Summer is here, at least in the Northern Hemisphere — and wedding season is upon us.
The most popular wedding dates of 2025 are Saturday, August 23, and Saturday, September 3.
While these days are presumably picked for fair weather and the poetic notion that love should come to fruition whilst the world that surrounds us is in full bloom and at apex ripeness, there is a curious cosmic alignment to these auspicious dates.
It's fitting that Saturday is the preferred day of the week for a hitching — it belongs to Saturn, our planet of karma, punishment, the long game, hard work, fortified foundations, and iron-clad commitments.Psychic, Tarot reader, and astrologer Inbaal Honigman explains that two planets in particular have a direct bearing on how love relationships start, peak, and end.
'Naturally, the love planet Venus is important. This is the planet that influences our emotional well-being, the way we relate to others, and how comfortable we are in a relationship. When Venus is in a romantic sign, such as Pisces or Cancer, people will be feeling more inclined to get into relationships.
'On the other hand, when Venus is in a very independent sign, such as Aries or Sagittarius, the inclination would be more towards breakups.'
From June 6th to July 5th, Venus will luxuriate in the pleasure pastures of Taurus. During this transit, we are drawn to the stable and the surefire and are more likely to commit, settle down, or just plain settle.
From July 31 to August 26th, Venus will dip into the tidal pools of Cancer, a sign associated with divine domesticity, matching pajamas, soup mugs, and reciprocal soul-nourishing.
This transit encourages an all-in, ready-to-move-in approach to relationships. It's about as cozy as the cosmos ever gets, folks — so ride it till it bucks you.
Speaking of…when Venus enters the bold b–ch and bronco heart of Sagittarius on December 1, we're primed to see relationships end and wedding plans halted as the energy shifts from obsessive Scorpio to fancy free Sag.
On the upswing or upright horseshoe, this transit also supports love as an unexpected discovery, rather than a well-plotted course — and elopement over the dog and pony show of a traditional wedding.
Who doesn't love a plot twist?
Mercury, our planet of the mind and the mouth, is another power player in the game of love.
'This is the planet that impacts the way we introduce ourselves, how we talk to others, and whether we tell the truth. When Mercury is in a communicative sign such as Gemini or Virgo, people are likely to talk themselves into somebody's favor.
'However, when Mercury is in a quieter sign such as Aquarius or Taurus, the vibe will be much more single,' explained Honigman.
If we factor in the shadow period, Mercury will be retrograding in Leo for the bulk of the summer (June 30th to August 25th). In Leo, Mercury is made of jazz hands, crocodile tears, long-winded soliloquy, and unabashed declarations of love.
Mercury retrograde in Leo loves nothing more than doomed romance and the comeback arch of long-lost love, so there could be reunions aplenty — or at least a reconcilatory fling before moving on and marrying up.
Mercury stations retrograde on August 11th, and will just about clear its shadow in time for the two most popular wedding dates of 2025.
Couples choosing to solidify their bond in late August and/or through September and October, will have likely come through the calamity of this transit bettered by it — and closer for it.
'What's interesting is that while wedding trends often follow practical patterns, like warm weather and weekends, there's often a subtle alignment with astrology too. August 23rd, this year's most popular wedding date, comes just after Mercury retrograde ends, which could feel like a natural moment of clarity and renewed connection for many couples,' Ella Citron-Thompkins from Diamonds Factory told The Post.
She noted that winter and particularly the Christmas season are among the least popular times for nuptials, and often herald the need for deep rest, quiet, and introspection.
More existential than marital, if you will.
'It's fascinating to see how the cosmic and the cultural sometimes overlap, even when we don't consciously plan it that way,' Citron-Thompkins said.

Daily Horoscope for June 08, 2025
General Daily Insight for June 08, 2025 Today is positively brimming with possibility. The Moon is in private Scorpio, so we may want to keep to ourselves — that is, until it locks into a quincunx with the Sun in chatty Gemini, drawing us out of our shells. Meanwhile, Mercury will conjoin Jupiter in Gemini, inspiring us to think in bigger and broader terms than ever before. Finally, at 6:58 pm EDT, Mercury will gallop into Cancer for the next couple of weeks. The cosmos is turning up our emotional volume! Aries March 21 – April 19 Your mind cannot work without adequate emotional input. This is especially relevant as mental Mercury catapults itself into your 4th House of Caring. Your heart will probably be doing more leading than your head — even beyond what's normal for your impulsive sign. This can be really lovely, as it encourages you to be beautifully open with others. Conversely, it can also make you rather reactive if you don't keep an eye on yourself. Do your best to avoid letting your emotions overpower your reason. Taurus April 20 – May 20 Get ready to hit the town and check out local events! Mercury is bouncing into your 3rd House of Nearby Noise, stirring up the astrological soundscape and infusing it with entertainment. Why not go see what everyone else is up to? This is a great time to circulate and meet fascinating people, because Mercury is plating up all sorts of exciting dynamics for you to explore. The social value alone should be worth it, but they could even lead to actual profit down the line. Gemini May 21 – June 20 Your finances may need extra focus. That shouldn't be too difficult, luckily, as clear-minded Mercury strides into your 2nd House of Revenue, putting a premium on getting your money in order. Whether you're on the lookout for a new job, a bit more cash, or worthy ways to spend the money you already have, Mercury is motivating you to put out feelers and start the necessary conversations to make it happen. A financial advisor could come in especially handy at this time. Cancer June 21 – July 22 An astrological cloud is finally lifting. After a sleepy tour of your muzzy 12th house, Mercury is diving into your sign, carrying lots of exciting and stimulating energy in its wake. You may feel an undeniable urge to share your thoughts with the world, or perhaps your creativity is suddenly off the charts. Whether your ideas seem realistically possible or not, they have immense value for your future. Be sure to write them down as they arrive so you don't lose track of them. Leo July 23 – August 22 Falling down the rabbit hole doesn't have to be frightening. A certain kind of wonderland is beckoning you as Mercury rolls into your nebulous 12th house. Don your rose-colored glasses and take a look at what the world could be, rather than what it currently is. This is a wonderfully inspiring cycle, but it can be easy to get lost along the way. Avoid veering off too far in any one direction, or else you may find it difficult to navigate back home. Virgo August 23 – September 22 Wrap up your projects and clock out! You deserve to be officially out of office for a while as Mercury leaves your career sector for your 11th House of Global Friendships. This transit is superb for fostering fresh connections while enjoying the ones you've already got. People could be eager to get together and enjoy one another's company, so lean into the festive mood as your friendliest self. You can make some really lovely connections if you don't sit back and stay the wallflower. Libra September 23 – October 22 Let people know what you are all about, Libra. Talkative Mercury is flying into your 10th House of Professional Reputation, reinforcing your ability to coordinate fruitful projects and foster partnerships that will, in turn, move you that much closer to your current end goal. This cycle can also be great for debuts, so if you've been working on something behind the scenes, it may be time for your big reveal. Have your sales pitch ready to go at the drop of a hat! Scorpio October 23 – November 21 Your possibilities are all but endless! Mental Mercury is leaping into your high-minded 9th house, invigorating you to look beyond your usual boundaries and limitations and invest in new ways of understanding the world. You can put this energy to use by furthering your education, perhaps with an online course or even a full return to school. Likewise, travel is highlighted by this sector. If you've got the budget for it, go ahead and book your tickets to a faraway land. Your magic carpet awaits! Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 You're a regular Sherlock all of a sudden. This mysterious and penetrating mental energy is all thanks to Mercury sneaking into your secretive 8th house, making life feel more like a detective novel than anything else. This cycle can sharpen your acumen when it comes to handling some serious issues with clever solutions, but it can also make you a little paranoid if you're not careful. Steer clear of creating drama or intrigue where there doesn't need to be any. Save yourself that headache. Capricorn December 22 – January 19 Two minds are better than one. You can accomplish more than ever as Mercury jogs into your collaboration sector, provided you are willing to team up in pursuit of your goals. This can improve romantic relationships, but Mercury will also be blessing professional and platonic connections. Think in terms of dynamic duos, no matter the situation, and it'll be tough to go wrong. No matter the length of the connection, Mercury will blow a special wind to fill your sails with productive potential. Aquarius January 20 – February 18 You've got your methods of organization, even if they look chaotic to others. Mercury is marching into your meticulous 6th house, so you should have no trouble getting in the groove over the next couple weeks. This phase is terrific for figuring out updated ways to improve the flow of your daily life by working smarter, not harder. The 6th house also rules wellness, so if you've lost track of certain health habits, Mercury's presence here can buoy you to get back in shape. Pisces February 19 – March 20 Focus on fun! You are entering a run of good luck, allowing you to let loose with little reservation alongside Mercury shimmying into your 5th House of Creativity. The cosmic mood is all about making the most of what's on offer and living life to the fullest. Leave mundane and boring matters for another time, only tending to the chores that are absolutely necessary. Fill the rest of your schedule with as much pleasure and pampering as you possibly can. You've earned it.

King Charles' Cancer Is Incurable, Bombshell Report Suggests
King Charles' will die 'with' but not 'of' cancer, a bombshell report claimed Saturday. The report essentially confirms long-standing rumors that the king's cancer is considered manageable but ultimately incurable, which is the case for many older individuals afflicted by the disease. Charles is 76. The report will be unwelcome in the palace, as it will reignite speculation that the king's health is in a delicate state, rumors that were brought to fever pitch when Prince Harry said in a recent BBC interview that he didn't know how long his father had left to live. Charles' aides have consistently briefed reporters that he is, broadly speaking, winning his battle against cancer and the king himself recently said he was on 'the other side' of the health crisis. The king is back to essentially running a full diary after being diagnosed with cancer last year, albeit with some modifications. The report, by the respected royal writer and associate editor of the U.K. Daily Telegraph, Camilla Tominey, also claimed that Charles will never move into Buckingham Palace due to his health struggles. 'The talk now is that he may die 'with' cancer, but not 'of' cancer following a rigorous treatment program,' she wrote. A spokesperson for the king declined to comment. Tominey who was the first to break the news about Prince Harry and Meghan dating and also about the latter's row with Kate Middleton. The report added that planning for Charles' 80th birthday in 2028, while 'very tentative,' is going ahead. Tominey also claimed that Charles and Harry could be publicly reunited at the Invictus Games, in Birmingham in 2027, with palace aides quietly investigating whether the event could provide a suitable backdrop for a long-awaited reconciliation. It is understood officials hope any reconciliation would include Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The king last saw the children in 2022. Harry has said he can't bring his family safely to the U.K. and hinted some powerful palace figures want him dead. Intriguingly, Tominey suggests that a reconciliation might be considered because of the negative impact the narrative of estrangement is having on the king's reputation. She writes: 'There is an awareness that the impasse cannot continue forever, not least if it starts to reflect badly on the king.' Prince Harry said, in a bitter interview with the BBC following a comprehensive legal defeat on his security arrangements, that he does not know how long his cancer-hit father has left to live because the king won't speak to him. Harry also said he won't bring his family to the U.K., blamed his father for his security being reduced after leaving the royal family, and said he had 'forgiven' those family members who had hurt him. He added: 'Some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book but I would love reconciliation with my family.' Appearing emotional, the prince added: 'I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff.' 'There is a lot of control and ability in my father's hands. Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through him,' Harry said. 'There's no point in continuing to fight anymore. As I said, life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.'

Your Weekly Horoscopes: June 8 to 14, 2025
You're probably sick of hearing this but: there's a lot happening this week. The astrology of 2025 isn't getting any less intense, but it is getting a bit more joyful. That being said: sometimes it's only when things get easier that the impact is felt. Like delayed soreness after a planet Mercury meets up with expansive Jupiter on the 8th, an aspect that closes the loop between our big ideas and the steps we must take to achieve them. This influence brings an action plan, or really: a bunch of action plans. Write down the list and focus on doing things one step at a time. Then later on the 8th, Mercury moves from chatty Gemini into more introverted Cancer where less is more when it comes to words, and ideas are crafted with heart. The biggest news of the week is that Jupiter, planet of growth and opportunity, enters Cancer on the 9th to stay for a full year. Jupiter gets VIP treatment in Cancer, and for us this means our growth edges are met with nurturing and care. Yes, there's still uncertainty, but this influence encourages us to release fear and celebrate what's on the 11th, Gemini season peaks with the full moon in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is a sign that doesn't take things too seriously. All of us are moving through a transformative moment that requires hard work and healing, and this full moon reminds us to be gentle with ourselves and have a good laugh. (Horoscopes follow for each sign. If you know your rising sign, reading for that sign too will provide further insight.) 3 Zodiac Signs Always Getting in Their Own Way A million different things are happening at once. Your inbox is full, your to-do list is endless, and you can't get to any of these tasks anyway because your calendar is packed with meetings and birthday parties and coffee dates. This week's full moon in Sagittarius is the culmination of a learning experience that began six months ago. You keep pushing yourself to do more, and maybe you don't feel like this is a 'real' accomplishment. But take some time to celebrate how far you've come and how much you've grown. This week's mantra: 'Journey.' TaurusYour shopping list is a mile long, but luckily a recent boost in your income has made you much less anxious than usual about spending so much. That being said, financial freedom has come with a strain on your schedule. Jupiter's entrance into Cancer—and the part of your chart that deals with calendars and routines—brings you some much needed ease in your daily life. At the very last minute, a coworker picks up your shift so you can take a quick trip out of town. This week's mantra: 'Patience.' Whether you're completing a contract or taking a relationship to the next level, the full moon in Sagittarius on the 11th is about making and breaking commitments. Your biggest lesson of the last year is that partnership requires sacrifice, but that doesn't mean you have to lose yourself in it. You're known for being a bit mercurial and all over the place, but this week is about expressing yourself from the heart and claiming your true values. Knowing what you want and going for it is a boost to your week's mantra: 'Claim.' Everything's coming up you, Cancer. Jupiter—planet of luck, expansion and relief—enters your sign on the 9th. After a year of growth that came with loss (and a lot of existential dread), you're entering a phase of feeling more confident in your image and self expression. The first step is taking care of your body. The full moon in Sagittarius on the 11th highlights an ongoing struggle with your health or energy levels, while also illuminating the proper treatment plan. This week's mantra: 'Shine.' Don't freak out but this week, you reach a major milestone. You're reaching new audiences and building your legacy. Whether you're publishing, podcasting or improving your interior design skills, the small steps you're taking now will provide the basis for major career growth over the next year. This Week's Mantra: "Grounded." You've done an immense amount of work to clear out debts and figure out exactly what you owe. The bad news is that you can't do everything alone. The good news is: you get to collaborate. This week's mantra: 'Joint.' You're in a bind: staying in the same place is burning you out but every other option requires its own sacrifice. What if you make the wrong decision? You're learning that it all matters, even the smallest steps. This week's mantra: 'Bloom.' Career goals you set back in November are up for review at the full moon in Sagittarius on the 11th. This full moon marks a breakthrough and turning point for your public image and sees you accepting a leadership role.
