EAA AirVenture 2025, hundreds of temporary jobs available; how to apply
The Brief
EAA AirVenture is looking to fill more than 750 temporary staff for the 2025 event.
Interested people are encouraged to apply online for the best chance at preferred shifts.
People can then interview onsite at the EAA Aviation Museum during several hiring events in April, May, and June.
OSHKOSH, Wis. - The EAA is looking for additional help for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh as more than 750 temporary positions are available across multiple areas to be part of the "World's Greatest Aviation Celebration."
What we know
EAA AirVenture will be held July 21-27 and is the world's largest annual gathering of aviation fans, with people visiting from more than 90 countries.
The EAA says the temporary positions are excellent opportunities for many people, including students or retirees, who are looking for a temporary position that does not require a full summer commitment.

Positions available include retail, security/event support, auto parking, camper registration, and bartender.
What you can do
To apply, retail and auto parking applicants must be at least 14 years old, security at least 16 years old, and 18 years old for all other positions.
People are encouraged to apply online before the hiring events, as people will have the opportunity to interview onsite at the EAA Aviation Museum.
The dates and times for the hiring events are:
Saturday, April 26: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Wednesday, May 21, 4-7 p.m.
Saturday, June 7, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Saturday, June 21, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Open House, June 24-26, 9 a.m.-5p.m.
Applying as soon as possible on the EAA website provides applicants with the best chance at getting their preferred shift.
There are two parts to the application: creating an account and completing an application. Detailed instructions about applying are also provided on the website.
Applications may be completed at the kiosk in the EAA Aviation Museum lobby. After applying, individuals will receive a confirmation email.
If applicants are unable to attend the dates listed, email hr@eaa.org to schedule a separate interview time. All interviews will be held at the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh.

Subaru Hawaiʻi donates $25K in supplies to Lahaina school
LAHAINA, Hawaii (KHON2) — Subaru Hawaiʻi, in collaboration with nonprofit donated $25,000 in classroom supplies to King Kamehameha III Elementary, a Lahaina public school that lost its campus in the 2023 wildfires. The school, which has been operating out of a temporary campus in west Maui since losing their campus, saw new supplies for their library and media center. HPU researchers work to fight dangerous fish toxin 'We are honored to give back in a small way to the rebuilding efforts in Lahaina,' said Senior Vice President of Subaru Hawaiʻi Lance Ichimura. 'As part of Subaru's Love Promises, supporting our communities and enabling learning for our keiki are areas we are committed to making a difference in.' The funds were donated in late 2024, and Subaru Hawaiʻi presented the donated items to the school's faculty and staff in May 2025.'We are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful donation,' said Principal Michael McCloskey. 'It provides comfort during this crucial shift from crisis response to recovery and rebuilding, assuring many that our efforts extend beyond reconstructing our community. We're actively building a brighter future for our keiki.' The elementary school, which instructs more than 360 students between pre-kindergarten and the fifth grade, plans to use their temporary campus for up to five years until the state Department of Education is able to permanently relocate them. HONOLULU (KHON2) — Matt Elliott has been tapped to serve as the next athletics director at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, pending approval by the UH Board of Regents at a special meeting on June 16. Ex-UH athletics director Craig Angelos reapplies for position UH President Wendy Hensel selected Elliott following a national search. 'I'm excited to welcome Matt, with his Division I experience and strong Hawaiʻi ties, to the UH ʻohana,' Hensel said in a statement. 'He's a passionate leader who's ready to elevate UH athletics.' Elliott spent 13 years in athletics administration at UCLA, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer. There, he helped guide the Bruins' move from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten and led development of a five-year strategic plan. He also played key roles in NIL policy, legal affairs, and a record-setting $280 million apparel 2024, Elliott has served as Senior Director of Policy and Public Affairs at the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, working closely with state leaders on advocacy efforts. He and his family returned to Hawaiʻi in 2022. 'This is home for us,' Elliott said. 'It's an honor to lead a program that reflects the pride of our local community.
