McDonalds Canada introduces new McFlurry flavor

Get ready for a treat! McDonald's has just introduced a brand-new McFlurry flavor: the Birthday Cake McFlurry. This delightful dessert features their signature creamy vanilla soft serve blended with frosted cake-flavored confetti cookie dough pieces and a sweet birthday cake flavored syrup, available in both regular and snack sizes.
There's a catch for those outside Canada: the Birthday Cake McFlurry is only available north of the border. The Snackolator account wryly commented, 'Yes… I know you're shocked, but McDonald's has once again blessed Canada with an incredible McFlurry flavor, leaving the rest of us with our standard options.' They also highlighted Canada's recent lucky streak, mentioning, 'Canada lately has gotten an Apple shake for Minecraft and a Cadbury Egg McFlurry just in the last month… just throwing that out there.'
Initial reactions from McDonald's fans in Canada, the lucky recipients of the new Birthday Cake McFlurry, have been overwhelmingly positive. 'I had it. definitely a top tier flavour,' one Instagram user commented. Others playfully acknowledged the limited availability, with one remarking, 'I like the subtle shade to McDonalds for showing obvious favoritism to other countries lol .'
A regular Birthday Cake McFlurry contains 680 calories, 22 grams of fat, 110 grams of carbohydrates, 11 grams of protein, and a significant 84 grams of sugar.
Earlier this year, McDonald's Canada partnered with the Toronto Raptors in February to introduce the '95 McFlurry'. This special flavor, inspired by the Raptors' iconic purple and red from 1995, was exclusively available to fans in Ontario. Jeff Anderson, Culinary Innovation Lead at McDonald's Canada, explained, 'We took inspiration from the Raptors' original colours to create a vibrant flavour that brings back the fun and nostalgia of the 90s. The '95 McFlurry is a tribute to the McFlurry and the Raptors' journey.'
While Canada enjoys these exciting new McFlurry options, American McDonald's fans are left with a considerably more limited selection: the standard McFlurry with M&M'S Candies and the McFlurry with Oreo Cookies. Adding to the changes, McDonald's recently updated their packaging in the US, switching from plastic lids to cardboard four-flap cups and eliminating the iconic square spoons. Interestingly, this new packaging is also used in Canada, with one Redditor commenting, 'They're packaged this way in Canada too. I love this packaging though because I am a fervent plastic hater.'
Many McDonald's customers have noticed that their McFlurrys are sometimes not fully mixed. According to one McDonald's worker, the primary reason is often simply being too busy. The employee explained, 'Usually they don't get mixed because we are too busy. Personally, I try to mix them, but if our mixer isn't ready when I need it, I have to do it manually with a spoon.'
The Redditor further elaborated that staffing shortages often contribute to the issue. 'Usually, there's supposed to be someone whose job it is to take orders and make drinks/ice cream,' they explained. 'Half the time there is no one there, so the person at the window has to handle all of that, including handing out food and drinks, and eventually taking and processing orders.'

Miley Cyrus was the epitome of glamour on Friday night as she and boyfriend Maxx Morando stepped out following the premiere of her visual album at Hotel Beacon in New York City. The singer, 32, ensured she dressed to impress in a dazzling gold gown during the evening which saw her debut her latest offering, Something Beautiful, on day three of the Tribeca Film Festival. Miley's strapless, embellished gown perfectly hugged her curves, with the star adding to the glam with her showstopping locks, which were styled in voluminous waves. The Flowers hitmaker, who finished of her look with a black clutch bag and pointed gold shoes, beamed as she held hands with her dapper musician partner, 26. The pair were joined by Miley's mother Tish Cyrus, 58, and her actor husband Dominic Purcell, 55, for the evening. The outing comes after Miley revealed where she currently stands with her ex-boyfriend, Nick Jonas, after they dated as teenagers. The Wrecking Ball singer reminisced on the time she briefly dated the Jonas Brothers member, 32, when they were both Disney stars and opened up about their current relationship. During an appearance on the Every Single Album podcast, Cyrus said that there's no bad blood between them despite their bad breakup, which she went on to describe in detail. 'I like Nick,' she said during Thursday's podcast episode. 'I'm into him.' She also gushed about his marriage to Priyanka Chopra and the couple's three-year-old daughter Malti. 'He's married with children. We're all moving on. Everything is good in the world,' she said on the podcast. Then, she jokingly added, 'Niley for life,' as she referenced their past couple name. Nearly two decades ago, Cyrus and Jonas dated from 2006 to 2007 before briefly reconnecting in 2009. The Hannah Montana alum's songs, 7 Things and Before the Storm, are rumored to be about her relationship with him. Her confession comes just shortly after she seemingly shaded her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth with a snarky, sly move. During a meet and greet with one lucky fan, the Hannah Montana star subtly took a shot at her former spouse, 35, as she signed a copy of her new album. The fan, who shared the same first name as Hemsworth, shared proof of the snarky move on X (formerly Twitter). While autographing her latest record, Something Beautiful, she cheekily addressed it to: 'The Best Liam.' The compliment clearly made her fan's day as he shared a photo of himself with the Wrecking Ball singer with the caption: 'me when I'm "The Best Liam."' Cyrus' declaration that her fan is "The Best Liam" comes after a decade-long romance with Hemsworth, who she met when they both starred in the 2010 film The Last Song. The former couple secretly wed in December 2018, but split less than a year after walking down the aisle. Hemsworth filed for divorce citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the cause of the split. Their divorce was finalized in January 2020. Miley has been dating drummer Maxx since 2021 while Liam has been with model Gabriella Brooks since late 2019.

Nicky Hilton reveals breast-feeding woes as she announces new venture

has opened up about the challenges of breastfeeding as she announced a new collaboration with the Nara Baby app. Sharing a photo of herself nursing one of her children Friday, the 41-year-old heiress also touched on the societal pressure to nurse. In a post for The 2amClub she wrote: 'I breastfed all three of my children, but it wasn't without its challenges. While I enjoyed the moments of bonding, the latching was often painful. I didn't find breastfeeding as effortlessly as I'd hoped.' She added: 'The expectations put on mothers can be overwhelming. 'We're just doing our best, and feeding our children - whether through breast feeding or bottle feeding - shouldn't come with guilt or judgment. 'You have to listen to your body and do what's right for you.' It was apparently her own experiences that resulted in Hilton announcing she was an investor in Nara Baby. 'Their innovative baby formula, launching this spring, is something I'm truly proud to be a part of,' she wrote next to the post with a link to the new formula company. She encouraged her fellow moms to follow her example and 'Share your feeding confession at Hilton shares daughters Lily-Grace, almost nine, and Theodora, known as Teddy, six, and son Chasen, three with husband James Rothschild, 39. Several fans shared their own experiences. 'Cheers to any mother who can breastfeed. And cheers to all mothers who do what's best to keep their babies fed, no matter what their own emotional preferences are,' commented one follower. 'Don't let anybody tell you what to feed and how to feed your baby,' admonished another. 'Wow, that's so inspiring! Can't wait to see your support making a real difference,' said a fan. According to the Nara Organics website, the new formula is made from organic whole fat cows milk and meets both U.S. and the stricter standards of the European Union. It brags of its product containing 'the most whole milk fat* of any U.S. formula,' offering to make the data available upon request. The company also developed an app that helps expectant moms track 'your body, mood, and medications during your pregnancy journey,' along with 'prenatal and other healthcare appointments' and questions they may have for their healthcare providers. After the baby is born, the app is said to help new parents and their caregivers 'log activities throughout the day.' Those include feeding time, naps, diaper changes and more. The company is building buzz by asking future customers to sign up for a wait list for the product that was supposed to be available in spring 2025.

EXCLUSIVE MAUREEN CALLAHAN: An insider has revealed the Royal verdict on THAT Meghan twerking video. It's so devastatingly cutting, she may never recover

It's the twerk seen round the world — and regrettably, there is no unseeing it. Truly: what's more royal, more regal — more befitting an American woman who married into her title and never lets us forget that she is a duchess — than releasing a home movie of yourself lifting up your dress, spreading your legs and gyrating while on the verge of giving birth?
