Chicken nuggets are back at Taco Bell.
After selling out nationwide in less than a week in December 2024, the nuggets are returning nationwide on April 24 as part of the chain's plan to add crispy chicken to menus permanently by 2026.
'The demand for our nuggets was off the charts, which is why we're looking at making crispy chicken permanent to give our fans what they are telling us they want," said Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell's chief marketing officer, in a news release. "We know we're not the usual name in crispy chicken, but our nuggets speak for themselves — they're bold, different, and unmistakably Taco Bell.'
"With new forms and sauce pairings in the works all year long, fans can expect even more craveable drops ahead, including a sweet and spicy collab with Mike's Hot Honey®, coming later this year," the chain teased in the April 17 release.
Taco Bell said its nuggets are marinated in a zesty jalapeño buttermilk flavor and breaded with a blend of breadcrumbs and crispy tortilla chips.
How much will the Tace Bell chicken nuggets cost?
Customers will be able to get the chicken nuggets a la carte or in a combo featuring regular Nacho Fries, nacho cheese sauce and a large fountain drink. The pricing for the nuggets is as follows:

10-piece nugget and two dipping sauces: $6.99
5-piece nugget combo with one dipping sauce: $5.99

Along with the nuggets, Taco Bell is bringing back the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce that was the top-selected sauce for crispy chicken orders during the item's first run. The tangy Bell Sauce and Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauces are also returning.

Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card: Earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $6,000 on eligible purchases in your first six months of card membership. There are also new offers on Delta business cards: Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card: Earn 90,000 bonus miles after spending $6,000 on eligible purchases in your first six months of card membership. Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card: Earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $8,000 on eligible purchases in your first six months of card membership. Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card: Earn 110,000 bonus miles after spending $12,000 on eligible purchases in your first six months of card membership. With over 290 destinations across six continents and more than 200 million customers served in 2024, Delta is one of the most well-known airlines worldwide. And you could reduce much of the upfront cost of flying to one of Delta's global destinations if you're able to take advantage of these generous sign-up bonuses. It depends on how you redeem the miles, but we value Delta SkyMiles at an average of 1.18 cents each. That means 100,000 miles equals about $1,180. However, as with many airline credit cards, the exact value of your miles depends on how you use them. Since Delta uses dynamic pricing, you can see different values with each redemption. You can find plenty of value with 100,000 (give or take, depending on the welcome offer) Delta SkyMiles. This is especially true when accounting for the TakeOff 15 benefit, which provides an automatic 15% discount on eligible award flights for Delta SkyMiles cardholders. Let's take a look at some possible redemptions. You can fly from Los Angeles (LAX) to Auckland (AKL) for 38,200 miles. The cash price for the same flight is $1,341, giving you a redemption value of about 3.5 cents per mile ($1,341 / 38,200 = 0.035104). You'll still have plenty of miles left to figure out your return flight, which could mean including a stop in Australia after visiting Hobbiton (and while you're in the area). This flight from Salt Lake City (SLC) to Mexico City (MEX) will only set you back 26,300 miles. The redemption value for this flight is about 1.5 cents per mile, which is better than our average valuation. And with miles to spare, you can bring some friends or work on covering the return leg home. You don't have to get fancy with your redemptions; a short flight will do just fine if it saves you money, especially if it's a route you frequently take. Consider this example: A flight between Atlanta (ATL) and Miami (MIA) that costs 8,300 miles or $117. With 100,000 miles, you could take this flight 12 times, giving you plenty of opportunities for vacations or visiting friends and family. This particular flight has a redemption value of about 1.4 cents per mile. See which flavor — Gold, Platinum, or Reserve — of Delta SkyMiles card is the best fit for you. Consider which Delta SkyMiles business card is right for you if you run a small best Delta SkyMiles credit card for you depends on your goals and spending habits. If you only fly occasionally, maybe a few times per year, we recommend the Delta SkyMiles Gold Amex Card. This card has the lowest annual fee but still provides one of the best benefits: a free checked bag. With only a few roundtrip flights, you can offset the annual fee in saved baggage charges. If you travel a lot, a card like the Delta SkyMiles Platinum Amex Card or Delta SkyMiles Reserve Amex Card may make more sense. These cards have higher annual fees, but they also provide more benefits. For example, the Delta Reserve Amex Card offers Delta Sky Club Access (at least 15 visits each Medallion year), which could come in handy the more you find yourself in airports. Business owners can apply for the personal or business versions of the Delta SkyMiles credit cards. The business credit cards are largely the same as their personal variants, but their welcome offers require increased spending, so keep that in mind when making your decision. All the Delta SkyMiles credit cards associated with these new welcome offers have annual fees. Popular chicken chain menu brings back fan-favorite value combos
When fast-food chains and quick-service restaurants entered the industry and rose to fame in the 1950s, it was all about who had the best burger. This helped many burger-focused chains like McDonald's and Burger King become the giants they are today. However, trends evolve, and it's undeniable that many consumers now prefer chicken over other options, creating a "chicken craze" among chains. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter This has caused many in the food industry to shift their focus and launch new chicken-based products to dominate the market and boost sales. Major players like McDonald's (MCD) and Taco Bell have begun prioritizing chicken-based products, but following a food trend isn't enough to get people's attention amid a consumer spending slowdown. Related: Popular chicken chain brings back beloved menu item after 7 years Yum! Brands' (YUM) Taco Bell has become incredibly successful due to its insanely low prices and new chicken products, which are huge selling points for today's consumer. Now, KFC is taking a few tips from this successful brand. KFC first introduced Fill Ups in 2009 with the $5 Fill Up Box, which included various options consisting of fried chicken, fries, a biscuit, and a medium drink. The value combos became popular among consumers due to their incredibly low price, which is almost unheard of nowadays with the rising cost of food. This prompted the chicken chain to make the combos a seasonal, limited-time offering, offering slightly different options plus a dessert. Related: Popular fast-food burger chain to open first store in new market KFC last offered this $5 deal in summer 2024. However, the combos were much smaller, with some options providing no sides or dessert, and none offering a beverage. Inflation is very real, and keeping the same low prices it once offered became difficult for KFC over the years. Nonetheless, growing competition is a challenge that those in the food industry can never ignore. The chicken chain wanted to offer value deals to make consuming at its locations more desirable, allowing it to compete with rival chains that still provide similar offers. KFC is bringing back the popular Fill Ups, this time for $7 each and in partnership with F1: The Movie, which premieres in the U.S. on June 27. Customers can choose from four different $7 Fill Ups: One-Piece Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit. The chicken can be Original Recipe or Extra Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit. The chicken can be Original Recipe or Extra Tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy, a biscuit, and a choice of dipping Famous Bowl Each combo includes two pie poppers for a sweet finale and a medium beverage to wash it all down.
