He had appeared in 26 playoff games over his first two NBA seasons with Oklahoma City, but Thursday's series opener against the Indiana Pacers was his first playoff start. The Oklahoma City Thunder won an NBA championship back in 1979 when they were the Seattle SuperSonics, but the franchise is still searching for its first title since relocating in 2008. They'll have the chance to do just that this season as the No. 1-seeded Thunder captured the Western Conference title for the fifth time in franchise history and just the second since moving to Oklahoma City. Now, they face the Eastern Conference champion Indiana Pacers, who have caught fire in the postseason as the No. 4 seed and are searching for their first NBA title. For OKC, it's the first trip to the NBA Finals since 2012 when a team led by Kevin Durant, James Harden and Russell Westbrook fell to the Miami Heat in five games in what was Miami's first of two titles with the Big 3 and the first in LeBron James' career.
