Every air fryer owner is guilty of neglecting the appliance's food tray every now and then.
While it is recommended to clean the tray or basket after every use, sometimes it can be easier to put it off.
And since air fryers don't leave residual grease to the extent of other appliances, forgoing cleaning is even easier.
However, a simple hands-off hack is said to leave your tray sparkling, with no scrubbing involved.

The team at Lottomart recommend using a denture tablet to tackle the built-up grime, reports the Manchester Evening News.
"These fizzing tablets are typically used for cleaning dentures, but they are packed with powerful ingredients like peroxide, oxidisers, baking soda, and washing soda," a Lottomart rep explained.
"These all work together to break down the stubborn grime when mixed with warm water; the effervescent fizz acts as a catalyst, loosening grease and residue, making it much easier to wipe away."
You can pick up a four pack of Steradent Active Plus Denture Tablets for just £3.96, which breaks down to 99p per tube.
The tablets, which are designed to break down grime on Invisalign retainers or dentures, also prove useful on Air Fryers.
To try out the hack, start by emptying the air fryer drawer and remove any leftover food or crumbs.

Then quickly wipe out the basket with a wet paper towel, ridding all the loose debris.
Next, fill the drawer with hot water, covering the areas with the most grease build-up.
Place the denture tablet in the hot water to activate the process.
Once the tablet hits the water, it will start to fizz, breaking down any grease and grime.
Allow the tablet to dissolve, leaving it to sit for around 15 to 20 minutes.
The fizzy action will loosen even the toughest residue, making it much easier to clean.
After the tablet has dissolved, wipe away the loosened grease with a sponge or cloth.
The residue will lift off easily, with little to no scrubbing required.
An bit of extra scrubbing should do the trick for any stubborn spots.
Finally, rinse the drawer under warm water to remove any remaining tablet residue, drying thoroughly with a clean towel.
Your air fryer will be left sparkling clean and ready for the next use.

In one swoop, you can kill off any ivy and prevent it from growing back. And all you need is two kitchen ingredients that won't break the bank. The DIY solution is recommended by Chris Bonnett from Gardening Express. 'A few strands of ivy can look great in a garden but if English ivy starts to grow over leaves and plants, it can cause significant damage," he explained. As well as damaging your brickwork, ivy can also prevent other plants from receiving essential nutrients from sunlight. To tackle this issue, the gardening expert advises homeowners to tackle the root of the problem, literally. Killing the roots is a crucial step, and while some people suggest using natural methods such as boiling water, this expert has a different method. He revealed that he swears by a homemade solution of apple cider vinegar and salt. "The salt dehydrates the ivy and disrupts its water balance, while the acidic content of the mixture helps kill it," he explained. A 350ml bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar is available from Tesco for just £1.50. But since you will only need around 100ml to carry out this process, the cost breaks down to just 43p. And tack on an additional 2p for the five teaspoons of table salt you can take from the 750g bottle from Sainsbury's, available for just 69p.
