Michael Dunlop took the opportunity to ride his ROKiT BMW Superbike in Friday's inspection lap at the Isle of Man TT in preparation for the prestigious Milwaukee Senior race.
Dunlop missed out on victory by only 1.296 secs in Monday's Superbike opener to Davey Todd (8TEN Racing BMW) and revealed afterwards that he encountered an issue with his rear Dunlop tyre, which caused him to lose grip as he attempted to hunt down his opponent.

For only the second time in history, the Isle of Man TT will conclude without seeing the highlight of the week, the Senior TT going ahead, after organisers were forced to call it off due to high winds all the way around the 37.73 mile course. Last occurring in 2012 in similar circumstances, organisers made the call after talking extensively with riders who had completed a course inspection lap one hour before the race was set to get underway - and made their call based on their comments regarding the safety of the course. One of the fundamental changes we've seen at the TT in recent years has been a move towards a more proactive approach to the inherent risks of the public roads circuit, and the decision to call off this year's event feels very much like the correct call by clerk of course Gary Thompson to conclude what has been up until this point one of the safest TT races on record. It also comes at the conclusion of a weather-disrupted race week that has nonetheless seen history made as Michael Dunlop extended his record as the TT's all time most successful rider with four more victories to take his record to four.

Evans disqualified from Supertwin TT race result
Michael Evans has been disqualified from second position in Tuesday's Isle of Man TT Supertwin race one on technical inspection grounds, race organisers have a statement, they said the Dafabet Racing team had failed to present his bike for mandatory post-race inspection on time following the second race on response, the team said it accepted the decision and took "full responsibility" for what it said was a "mistake and oversight by the team in our preparations" for the said he was "absolutely devastated" that his first ever podium position had been taken away, adding: "Heartbroken but I will move forward." The Manx rider, who made his debut at the event in 2018, finished in second place on what was his 32nd birthday behind Northern Ireland's Michael Dunlop, with Rob Hodson in third and Paul Jordan in organisers said initial checks of Evans' Kawasaki were undertaken by the technical officials after race one and the engine was the team had been "unable to produce the machine for the technical inspection within the required timeframe" following the rider's retirement from race two on Thursday.A revised result for the Supertwin TT race one has seen Wigan's Hodson move into second place, with Northern Ireland's Jordan taking third. Isle of Man TT Senior race delayed by rain
Racing on the final day of the Isle of Man TT has been delayed because of rain around the of the course Gary Thompson said road closures around the circuit had been pushed back by four hours, with a further update due at 12:30 race schedule features the blue riband Senior event, due to be held over six laps of the Mountain Course, now scheduled to start at 14: it stands, the A18 Mountain Road is set to close at 13:00, with the lower part of the course due to shut an hour later at 14:00. Friday's racing saw Yorkshire's Dean Harrison secure the double in the Superstock class, and Manx brothers Ryan and Callum Crowe achieve the same feat in the Sidecar Northern Ireland's Michael Dunlop made it two out of two in the Supertwin class, securing his fourth win of the week and extending his record-breaking tally of TT wins to 33.
