This is Celtic's first fixture since being crowned champions of Scotland once again with an impressive 5-0 victory over Dundee United last weekend.

Whilst it is the club's 55th title in their history and fourth in a row, they will not receive a guard of honour from Rangers before kick-off.
Usually whenever a league title is won, in the very next game, the champions are clapped onto the pitch by the opposition but Barry Ferguson revealed that his side will not be following that tradition this afternoon.
The decision could add spice to a fixture that has very little riding on it, aside from the usual bragging rights.
Rangers have won the last two Old Firm derby meetings - including a 3-0 success at Ibrox at the beginning of the year - but go into this meeting in poor form as they are without a victory in their last five games across all competitions.

Celtic, meanwhile, have scored 15 goals in their last three outings and will be out to celebrate their latest title win in style.

Nothing Phone (3) Release Date: iPhone Challenger Confirms New Flagship Coming Soon

Tech innovator Nothing has just revealed that its anticipated smartphone, Nothing Phone (3), is nearly here. The company had previously said it would be this year and now it has revealed exactly when: Tuesday, July 1. If you click on to the company's website, you'll see the words 'Come to play,' along with the information, 'Phone (3). 1 July, 18:00 BST,' which tells us both the date and time of the announcement. It doesn't say where such an announcement will take place or whether it will be virtual or in-person, but a live event seems likely to me as Nothing has held such events before. As to location, Nothing is proud of being based in London, so the fact that the time is stated in BST makes me think that's where it could be held. The time of 6 p.m. BST, by the way, is 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m Eastern. The same time of day that Apple always uses to reveal its iPhones, for instance. And Nothing is often regarded as a challenger to the iPhone. The onscreen activity also includes an animated panel of a white dot matrix display on a black background, supplemented by quirky little noises that briefly conjure up classic video games such as Space Invaders. The same information is also hosted in a post on X. There's no further detail as to what this might mean, though Nothing had previously said on May 29, 'we killed the Glyph interface,' so this could be the replacement. In case you don't know, the Glyph system is a series of LED lights that shine through the transparent back of all Nothing Phone models, until now. The new phone, it seems, could feature a more advanced lighting array instead. On the website, there's also a button to sign up to find out more about the launch. Nothing has been growing fast, with two Nothing phones, Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, and one from its sub-brand CMF launched this year already. But the Phone (3) is the one that's been most keenly awaited. And now, here it comes.

Road reopens after man hurt in lorry and van crash

A section of the A46 in Warwickshire has reopened after it was closed for several hours following a serious crash between a lorry and a van. In an update at about 13:00 BST, National Highways said the road southbound between the A45 for Coventry and the A452 Kenilworth had reopened. A man in his 20s, a passenger in the van, was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries, not believed to be life-threatening, Warwickshire Police said. The driver of the van was also taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious, West Midlands Ambulance Service added. Emergency services had been working at the scene following the crash, which happened at about 03:30 BST. Follow BBC Coventry & Warwickshire on BBC Sounds, Facebook, X and Instagram. Takeover can 'extinguish the rot' at Rangers

The takeover of Rangers by an American consortium can "extinguish the rot" that has persisted since Craig Whyte's ill-fated reign, says departing director Alastair Johnston. Whyte bought Rangers from Sir David Murray in 2011, ousting Johnston as chairman, and the club lurched to financial collapse the following year before re-emerging in the bottom tier of Scottish football. Celtic have dominated the domestic game since, but Johnston is hopeful of brigther times ahead after a consortium led by healthcare tycoon Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises last week acquired a 51% controlling stake in the club. Johnston, who returned to the board as a non-executive director in 2017 when Dave King was chairman, is standing down with a new-look board taking shape but the United States-based Glaswegian and lifelong Rangers fan is optimistic about developments. The 76-year-old told the PA news agency: "I was asked to respond to a question at the Rangers AGM last December as to the options available to the club in order for it to return to its glory days. "My comments were reported at the time as being somewhat bemusing. I responded by describing the current circumstances in English football about so many of the leading clubs being taken over by American investors and, in several cases, their approach included an ownership model that involved multiple teams. "I was careful to insinuate that this was a hypothetical possibility. In truth, I was already aware of the interest that a group involving the 49ers had shown in Rangers and that we had already engaged in early-stage discussions with its representatives. "Understandably, the possible investors wanted to maintain the utmost secrecy as to the direction of their mission. "It took about six months for the Rangers board to reach a mutually acceptable arrangement that would be in the best interests of our club. "Intense negotiations were conducted covering all facets of such an acquisition, and I am delighted we were able to capitalise on a collaboration that we believe will provide us with a platform to extinguish the rot that had befallen the club for a decade since the Craig Whyte fiasco."
