Aussie Olympic gold medallist Torah Bright reveals her son's stunning sixth-sense premonition about her new pregnancy

Daily Mail3 days ago

Australian Olympic gold medallist Torah Bright has bizarrely revealed her son Flow 'knew she was pregnant before she did' as she announced she is expecting her third child.
Bright, 38, is best known for snaring gold in the women's halfpipe snowboarding at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Now a mother of two boys, the decorated snowboarder is busily preparing for baby number three.
'The boys are already so in love,' she posted via Instagram on Wednesday.
'We are keeping the gender a surprise until birth, but I'm feeling a third boy.'
Next was Flow Bright's left-field premonition.

'Fun fact: Flow (eldest son) knew I was pregnant before I actually was,' the post continued.
'A whole month before I conceived, he was telling people I had a baby in my belly.
'Maybe he already knows who this little soul is.
'Every night, Halo (second child) falls asleep holding my belly - and every morning, he wakes up and kisses it.
'Our hearts are expanding, and so is our family. 'So grateful for this growing love.'
In 2021, Bright turned heads after sharing a photo showing her breastfeeding her 10-month-old son while performing a headstand.
The photo, posted to Facebook, sparked a fierce online debate - and the Olympic champion later expressed her regret at the polarising image.
At the time, the breastfeeding photo attracted thousands of comments, including one that read 'now that's a balanced meal'.
Another said: 'Breastfeed anywhere, anytime', while a third commentator wrote 'What an awesome mama bear. Love her.'
But Bright was also criticised, with one commenting: 'I'm not saying it's not beautiful.
'Breastfeeding is between a mum and a child. This is way too much. It's not about handstands and seeing how that child could actually latch on for likes.'
'Reading some of the comments make me sad,' Bright later wrote in an Instagram story.
'In my world, mother's should be each other's cheerleaders (it is hard enough).
'Embrace our quirkiness and finding the joy in every sh***y thing that is motherhood.
'We all do it differently, it is not wrong or right. Motherhood is pure.
'I only now consider myself a wonder woman because I have joined the sacred club with you. Nothing but respect to all mothers.'

Grace Tame sensationally AXED from her $100,000 ambassador role at Nike after probe into pro-Palestine posts

Global sports brand Nike have officially cut ties with advocate and athlete Grace Tame over her pro-Palestinian posts on social media. The former Australian of the Year, who received the top accolade for her work speaking for sexual assault victims, shared several posts in solidarity with Palestinians during the ongoing conflict with Israel. Nike released a statement on Monday stating Tame's team were being spoken to, although it's not been confirmed exactly what sparked the probe. On Friday, speculation grew that the brand and Tame had split, with the athlete removing references to Nike on her Instagram profile. A spokesperson for the brand then shared a statement confirming the end of Tame's Nike era, writing: 'Grace and Nike have mutually agreed to part ways'. 'We wish Grace the best as she continues her running journey.' Daily Mail Australia has contacted Tame's team for comment. A Nike spokeswoman earlier this week told Daily Mail Australia the brand 'does not stand for any form of discrimination, including antisemitism'. Tame, who received the top accolade for her work for sexual assault victims, shared several posts in solidarity with Palestinians during the ongoing conflict with Israel 'We take this matter very seriously and are in touch with Grace's team to understand the matter further,' the spokesperson said. The 30-year-old is an ultra-marathon runner and was appointed as a brand ambassador by Nike in January. She shared a gushing message at the time, writing: 'I couldn't be more excited to announce that I am officially an ambassador for Nike. 'This has been a long time in the making.' Prior to accepting the role - believed to be worth $100,000 - Tame had added her voice to Oxfam Australia's demand for a ceasefire in Gaza in November 2023. Over the last few weeks, she has been outspoken in her support of the Palestinians' cause and joined a panel of speakers at the Feminism in the Time of Gaza forum. At least 450 people heard from four speakers at The Edge in Federation Square, Melbourne , during the May event organised by the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN). Tame said it was the first time she had spoken publicly about Palestine and revealed she had been asked not to speak about the Gaza-Israel conflict at several events. 'Empathy should have no boundaries,' she told the crowd. On Monday, the same day Nike released a statement, Tame shared a quote from climate activist Greta Thunberg who is currently on board a Freedom Flotilla aid mission sailing to Gaza aimed at breaking Israel's blockade. 'We are doing this because no matter what odds we are against, we have to keep trying, because the moment we stop trying is when we lose our humanity,' she wrote. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned Gaza is at risk of famine as a result of the blockade. Last week, Tame reshared a statement on Instagram from Palestinian writer Mohammed el-Kurd. He had criticised journalists who reported on the fatal shooting of an Israeli embassy couple in Washington DC as a 'random anti-Semitic attack'. Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum when they were shot dead. Elias Rodriguez, who police say shouted 'free Palestine' after being taken into custody, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Tame's has never shied away from socio-political discussion, with her Instagram handle called 'tamepunk' in perhaps a reference to the punk movement. In January she came under fire for wearing an incendiary T-Shirt to a morning tea event with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his fiancée Jodie Haydon. It featured the slogan: 'F*** Murdoch.'

Ryan Lochte breaks silence on divorce from Playboy wife Kayla with emotional message

US Olympic icon Ryan Lochte has spoken out on Instagram over the influx of support he has received after it emerged he is getting divorced from his wife, Kayla Reid. The couple announced the news on Wednesday and speaking on social media, the 12-time Olympic medalist said it was 'rough' going public with the split. 'I just want to say thank you to everyone that wrote a message, reached out to me — just open arms,' he said in an Instagram video. 'It means a lot to me. Yesterday was a rough day for me, but, like always in life, you've got to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward, so, that's what I'm doing.' The 40-year-old Lochte said he had been sent gifts by his 'second family', such as candy and a card. 'Thank you guys, I love you guys,' he added. The couple have three kids together. Kayla announced the split on June 4, saying: 'I hold marriage in the highest regard, so this has been one of the most painful, revealing, and challenging seasons of my life. 'I've been hesitant to share until I could do so from a place of healing - not from fresh, open wounds.' 'Sometimes we face trials we didn't choose or see coming. And in those moments, we're forced to make the hardest decisions to protect our peace, our children, and our future. 'I've come to the understanding that staying isn't always the most loving decision someone can make. For me, leaving was an act of love - for those around me and for myself.' The couple shares son Caiden, 7, daughter Liv, 5 and nearly two-year-old daughter Georgia. According to court records cited by People, Kayla filed for divorce on March 26. Lochte shared a statement himself, saying: 'I want to take a moment to acknowledge what Kayla shared. This past year has brought major changes for both of us as we've come to the difficult decision to end our marriage. 'I'm deeply grateful for the life we've built together and especially for the love we share for our three children. 'Although this decision hasn't been easy, I believe it's the right step toward peace and well-being for us both. I remain committed to healing, growth, and co-parenting with care and respect as we move forward separately.' The couple met in 2016 before getting engaged that same year in the fall. Lochte was also thrust into controversy during the 2016 Rio Games, after he claimed that he and three teammates were robbed at gunpoint after a night out. It was later revealed that the armed men were actually security guards and several details of Lochte's story proved to be fabricated. He was ultimately charged with submitting a false report to police, but charges were later dismissed after he apologized.
