Joe and Caernarfon looking to secure their spot in Europe
Former Cefn Druids player Faux now plies his trade with the Canaries in the Cymru Premier League and they are just two wins away from securing a spot back amongst the European elite.
Caernarfon are at home to Cardiff Met on Sunday in their play-off semi-final, while the winners will go on to face Haverfordwest in the final the following weekend.
Reflecting on the vociferous Cofi Army, Faux (pictured above) said: 'That's a huge bonus. We were having our eye on the Welsh Cup final, because if Connah's Quay Nomads were to win, we would have two away games down south in a row.
'They would be two very, very tough games. That's not to say Cardiff Met is not going to be a tough game, because it is. But having the Cofi Army behind us is a great advantage.'
The format of the latter stages in the play-offs was only finalised following The New Saints' 2-1 Welsh Cup final triumph over Connah's Quay.
Had Nomads repeated their triumph from last season's final, they would now be preparing for a European adventure.
However, Craig Harrison's Saints were able to make sure of a domestic treble and this meant league runners-up Penybont automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Conference League.
Caernarfon want to join then and goals are set to be a major feature if the Canaries do go all the way over the next few weeks.
'Some of the games it's if you score twice, we will score four!' admitted Faux, whose last Caernarfon appearance came in the 3-1 loss at Penybont on April 19.
'I think we are very lethal in front of goal. Louis Lloyd and Adam Davies are having good seasons.'
Lloyd has finished as the top flight's joint leading scorer this season with 16 goals and former Airbus striker Davies has bagged six goals so far.
Caernarfon booked their spot in the semi-final of the play-offs with a 5-2 win over Barry Town United, spear-headed by four goals from Lloyd.
On the possibility of securing European qualification, Faux stressed: 'It will be such a great achievement.
'To do it once was amazing, but to do it back-to-back, it would be never dreamed of for Caernarfon Town FC.'

It is claimed that Frank has agreed to join and Levy now needs to agree a compensation package with Brentford. Frank took over at Brentford in 2018 and has established the Bees in the top-flight after guiding them to promotion in 2021. As a result, the Dane has consistently been linked with vacancies at other clubs and was among the contenders for the Manchester United job last year. When asked about the links with United, Frank told the Sports Agents podcast: "I am probably at one of the best clubs in the world. End of discussion. Scott McTominay and Kieran Tierney out of Liechtenstein clash as Steve Clarke dealt another blow
The Scots take on the European minnows in Vaduz on Monday night Scott McTominay and Kieran Tierney have both pulled out of Scotland's friendly clash with Liechtenstein.
