Linlithgow overcame Stewart's Melville 17-14 to be crowned Edinburgh Northern seven-a-side champions for 2025 at Inverleith Park.
Edinburgh Fijians won the second tier Northern Bowl and Edinburgh Northern retained the Pond Plate.
The tournament featured 21 teams playing in seven groups of three with the top team going on to compete in the Northern Cup, second place to the Northern Bowl and third to the Pond Plate.
Attention now turns at Edinburgh Northern to a visit from Hungarian opposition who will take on the club's over-35s on 31 May.

The Ivorian played a key role as Sporting won the Portuguese double this season, but is entering the final two years of his contract. That has attracted a range of top sides, including Liverpool. According to A Bola, the Reds are battling Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich to secure the defender's signature. All five are said to be 'very attentive' to Diomande's situation. Palace have made contact with Sporting over a potential deal, with the Portuguese side demanding a fee in the region of £50million. Second summer signing close Liverpool are closing in on their second signing of the summer window. Jeremie Frimpong completed his move to Anfield last week and it now appears that he will be joined by Hungary Under-21 international Armin Pecsi. According to Nemzeti Sport, the Puskas Academy keeper has travelled to Merseyside to negotiate his move. He left Hungary's U21 training camp to fly over to England, missing their game against Albania on Thursday night. The deal is expected to be a club record one for Puskas Academy, who finished as runners-up in the Hungarian top-flight this season. The talks are advanced and a deal is expected to be announced next week at the latest. Record bid submitted Liverpool have submitted a fresh club-record bid for Florian Wirtz. The Reds saw a £109m bid for the 22-year-old rejected by Bayer Leverkusen last week and have now upped their offer. According to The Athletic, Liverpool are ready to pay £100m upfront for the 22-year-old, with another £13m in add-ons, taking the total package to £113m. That would be a new record for the Merseyside club. Leverkusen have slapped a £126.4m price tag on Wirtz, though Liverpool are said to have 'no intention' of paying that much. The German side are keen to sell him this summer though and Wirtz has already travelled to England to look for houses. Liverpool target Kerkez ditched surprise career before life-changing phone call
Milos Kerkez looks set to clinch a big-money move to Liverpool from Bournemouth this summer and the talented Hungarian left-back has walked a long-winding road to Premier League stardom having also spent time in Italy with AC Milan Milos Kerkez originally wanted to be a swimmer - now he's itching to make a splash at Liverpool following two remarkable seasons at Bournemouth. The tenacious Hungarian left-back's spectacular growth has certainly come as no surprise to the Anfield hierarchy. Reds sporting director Richard Hughes, formerly of Bournemouth, played a fundamental role in the £15.5million deal that brought Kerkez to the Premier League with the Cherries in 2023. The explosive AZ Alkmaar starlet, now 21, had already agreed personal terms with Lazio after netting against the Italians in the UEFA Conference League before a late intervention from Hughes swung the balance. Bournemouth's pitch to the Kerkez family was centred around his development and unlocking his superstar potential. Their belief in his talent has since been vindicated in emphatic fashion after the all-action full-back was included in the Premier League's Fan Team of the Season following a stellar campaign under Andoni Iraola. Kerkez's relentless energy and impressive consistency has charmed Liverpool, who regard him as the perfect heir to Andy Robertson's throne as club-to-club negotiations continue between the parties. However, his electrifying displays had also left a notable impression upon Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, among others. Serbian-born Kerkez is no stranger to big-name interest, in fact, he already has a firm grasp and understanding of the dedication and quality that is required to succeed at one of the world's best clubs having previously signed for AC Milan from Hungarian outfit Gyor in 2021. Rossoneri legend Paolo Maldini, Milan's sporting director at the time, had studied video footage of the fresh-faced prospect upon the recommendation of club scouts and he pulled out all the stops to pip Juventus to the highly-coveted teenager's signature. In a late dash to beat the transfer deadline, the Italian icon even sent a private jet to Hungary to conclude the deal. Kerkez later explained: "They left no stone unturned, if Paolo Maldini calls you personally, then you shouldn't think too much, you have to go! As a child, I watched many videos of him, we talked a lot and he gave me lots of advice, when you're talking to the best left-back in the world, every word is worth paying attention to." While Kerkez did not earn first-team minutes besides a practise match, he trained alongside the likes of Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and also played against a Liverpool side that featured Conor Bradley and Jarrell Quansah in the UEFA Youth League. He was humble enough to concede that physically, he "could not compete" with Milan's array of high-profile stars but when the Serie A giants pushed to send Kerkez on loan, he instead opted to seal a permanent switch to AZ, where he caught the eye of Arne Slot, despite receiving various offers from Germany. The Hungarian international no longer looks, nor feels, remotely out of place on the world stage and his impending arrival at Liverpool looks poised to propel Slot's champions to even greater heights. Kerkez's stunning rise to prominence, via six different countries, is a glowing reflection of not only his sacrifice - but his monstrous mentality. Shortly after deciding to ditch his swimming aspirations to prioritise his football career as an eight-year-old, Kerkez - released from Hungary's national team camp on Saturday morning ahead of his impending switch to Merseyside - moved to Austria where he spent five years with Rapid Wien. When the world later stood still in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, he would pick the brains of Gyor team-mate and former Watford striker Tamas Priskin on what it was like to play in the Premier League. Fast-forward five years and national treasure Kerkez is already on course to eclipse Priskin's 63 international caps for Hungary, having already made 23 appearances for his country. Liverpool confirm second summer transfer as highly-rated Hungary star joins Reds
Liverpool have signed 20-year-old goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, who could soon be joined by another Hungarian as the Reds get close to landing Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth Liverpool have signed goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Hungarian side Puskas Akademia. The 20-year-old has joined the Reds for £1.5million after completing a medical and signing his contract on Saturday. Pecsi is expected to join Liverpool 's under-21s, although he will get the chance to train with first-team goalkeeper Alisson Becker and new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili. He joins the club after Caoimhin Kelleher left Liverpool to become Brentford's first-choice keeper for £18m. Although young, Pecsi has plenty of experience, having made 52 appearances in all competitions for Puskas Akademia, keeping 15 clean sheets. He made 30 appearances across the 2024/25 season, helping the club finish second in the Hungarian top flight. He has also clocked up five appearances for the Hungary under-21 side and was nominated for the prestigious 2025 Golden Boy award. The youngster is the second Hungarian in the Liverpool squad, alongside Dominik Szoboszlai, although that number could become three, with the club pushing to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez. Kerkez has left the Hungary camp ahead of a match against Azerbaijan due to 'private reasons'. Those are understood to be connected to a pending move from Bournemouth to Liverpool, with all parties wanting to avoid any injuries in the closing stages of negotiations. Pecsi is the second signing of the summer transfer window, following Jeremie Frimpong in joining the club. Frimpong has signed a five-year deal with Liverpool after the club paid Bayer Leverkusen £29.5m for his services in the wake of Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving for Real Madrid. Mamardashvili, meanwhile, was officially signed last summer, but was immediately loaned back to Valencia for the 2024/25 campaign. Dominic Corness, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, Harry Evers, Lee Jonas, Jakub Ojrzynski, Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman, none of whom had played for the first team, have all departed the new Premier League champions and will search for new clubs. Further departures are expected, with Darwin Nunez, Harvey Elliott, Andy Robertson and Federico Chiesa among those who could leave. Chiesa only joined Liverpool last summer from Juventus for £10m, but he has struggled for game time under Slot and wants to leave. He told Corriere dello Sport: "At the beginning I felt the frustration of the radical change and of being far behind the group, then there was the injury.
