Fashion fans are racing to nab £10 Ann Summers bra that's ‘so comfy' but still gives ‘the best cleavage'

The Sun22-04-2025

IT can be difficult to find a bra to give you the best shape, that's also comfortable.
So it's no wonder that fashion fans are racing to Ann Summers to nab a bra purported to do just that.
Not only that, but the Sexy Lace Padded Plunge Bra is also currently reduced - from £15 down to £10.
The bra has "padded cups with mini removable pads for smaller sized busts to create a natural push-up appearance with underwire for added support", according to the Ann Summers website.
"Pair with your favourite style of Sexy Lace briefs for a matching set that's comfy enough for every day, yet sexy enough for seduction," they added.
And it seems they've hit the jackpot with the design, judging by the 4,633 positive reviews of the bra on their website.
"Always my go to, super comfortable, pretty and always fits lush," one wrote.
"I'm in love!" another gushed.
"So comfy, great value and gives a brilliant cleavage.
"Ann Summers at their best!"
"The extra plunge makes my boobs look great - it's super sexy and also very comfy," a third insisted.
"Would recommend!"
I've been branded 'clatty' for my bra-washing habits - there's some colours I've never cleaned
"The most comfortable bra - don't even know I have it on!" someone else wrote.
"The plunge aspect gives a nice boost. Just the right amount of padding in the bra with a lovely design."
"I don't usually wear wired bras but it's surprisingly comfortable," another said.
"Would definitely recommend - they are really pretty and have a range of colours."
The bra comes in six different colours - black, white, red, blue, nude and dark pink.
"I collect most of the colours of this bra. Comfortable, pretty & looks good under anything," someone else praised.
Top bra tips
Fabulous' Deputy Fashion Editor, Abby McHale has shared her tips for keeping your bras looking their best.
1. Don't wash your bras in the washing machine on their own, this is how your wiring will get damaged. Instead either wash in a pillowcase or take them in the shower with you and wash as you would your body.
2. Always start on the loosest hooks for your back, that way as the bra is worn more and the elastic stretches you can tighten it up with the tighter hooks.
3. If you wear your bra two to three times a week then it should last between six months to a year before you need to replace it.
4. You should always be able to feel your bra throughout the day, if you don't it means it's not doing its job properly.
5. It's actually the band across the back that keeps your boobs upright and not the cups itself.
"I have ordered these bras before and they always fit perfectly," another commented.
"In fact, the older ones are wearing out, which is why I ordered new ones."
As someone else said the bra "makes you feel like Jessica Rabbit", another insisted it's also brilliant for bigger boobs.
"My favourite bra!" they wrote.
"This is my second one, and the first lasted years with regular use.
"Gives very good shape and great for bigger bust (I'm a FF)."

Why Everyone Is Loving M&S Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained: 'M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about. 'A brand once known for its 'frumpy fashion' that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear. 'Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price. 'The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also. 'Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30. 'After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on. 'Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.' "Lovely lightweight skirt. Feels very comfortable on. Love the waist with elastic to fit any shape. Can wear high up on waist or on hips. Lightly see through but not too much. Lovely quality material," penned a third. Meanwhile, a fourth said: "Love it super comfortable, smart enough so can dress it up or down. Love the pockets. Had lots of compliments and queries as to where they could get it." "Perfect for summer and so versatile. Feels like good quality material for the price,' claimed a fifth. Someone else added: 'I bought a similar skirt from a high street retailer and it doesn't touch the quality of this one, plus this had pockets! I've bought all the colours in this shirred waist style as they're coords and I love easy to wear styles, being a busy mum of 3."

The no-nonsense tips that made Kim Woodburn the original Cleanfluencer, plus the 10-minute method that brought her fame

KIM WOODBURN has made us laugh, cry, and get our act together when it comes to cleaning. The TV personality and cleaning whizz has given us much-needed life advice over the years, which is even more appreciated after the sad news of her passing away earlier this week. 3 The 83-year-old is reported to have passed away from a short illness, leaving her husband and friends heartbroken. Kim rose to fame in Channel 4 's hit series How Clean is Your House where she showed people how to really keep their house in order. Here, we look back on her 11 no-nonsense tips for a spick and span home that she previously shared with Fabulous. Clean as you go Now listen, lazy bones. If you put a drink back in the fridge and it falls over, you think you'll get back to it tomorrow. Oh no, you don't – clean it up it right away! It takes seconds to clean things up as you go. You've no need to make a song and dance about it. Steam your shower walls You know those little steamers you can buy to steam your kitchen floors? What they don't tell you is they are perfect for cleaning your shower walls, too. They are as light as a feather and it cleans the tiles up a treat. Use old towels to clean your oven All the old towels you've got, never throw them out, my loves - cut them into strips. They're rough and ready. Dip them in some warm soapy water with a bit of bicarbonate of soda to clean your oven. Hot wash your sheets All sorts of things fall off our bodies, especially if you're very hairy. Put your sheets on a hot wash at least once a week, no lower than 60 degrees, or 80 degress if you can. You're lying on them, dear, doing all sorts. You might be a very passionate person. Sack off your sponge Don't use a sponge to wash up – they are filthy. You need a flat cloth or a dish-washing brush so if there's any dirt in there you can rinse it under the tap. But a sponge, my loves – they're the most unhygienic. Shop around The Pound Shop have some extremely cheap cleaners. There's no excuse for anyone to say they can't afford them. There are so many choices, so hunt around. If not, use lots of vinegar and warm water to clean the windows. It does a super job - it's the old remedy. So long, shoes You go out in your shoes down the road and there's dog pee that you step in or spit on the pavement. Make sure you have a good, rough carpet so when you stand on it, rub your shoes. You only have to pick up that rug and bang it on the outside wall - my God, you'll go blind. Deep clean your fridge Once every couple of months, take all your fridge out - it takes five minutes. Get a nice towelling cloth and some warm water. Dip it in bicarb and lovie, it's spotless. Do not leave your fridge for more than two months. When you start going over that, my loves - by God, you're asking for trouble. Toaster terror Take out the tray at the bottom of your toaster at least once a week. Whip out an old newspaper and thump that toaster and the crumbs all come out. Then roll up the paper, dear, and throw it away. People say: 'Oh, my toaster smells of burning.' Yes, it's year-old breadcrumbs you lazy pigs. Filter fail If you've got a vacuum, do yourself a favour and clean the filters. You see people run a vacuum up and down the rug, but it's not picking anything up. Does it not occur to you that the filter's full? Use your common sense. 10 minute method Kim has also shared her hack for making cleaning tasks a bit easier with the Express. Clean as you go and throw as you go. If you do that you can't go wrong. If you let it build then you have a huge task ahead of you. It only takes a small amount of time. Ten minutes every day and you can keep everything manageable

Fashion fans in frenzy over ‘prettiest' £35 Tesco dress that's perfect for weddings and comes in on-trend, classy colour

IF you're searching for the perfect wedding guest dress this summer and don't want to break the bank, Tesco has got you covered. The supermarket's in-house fashion label, F&F, is renowned for its stylish buys at affordable prices. 3 3 And fashion fans have insisted the new chocolate brown midi frock is a must-have for the warmer summer months. The £35 dress boasts a classic flowy silhouette, thin straps and ruffle detailing around the V-neck. It can easily be dressed up with heels for a summer wedding, or with sandals for a holiday abroad. The pretty bow nestled within the ruffles can also be tightened or loosened to adjust the straps which allows the perfect fit for all boob sizes. The supermarket find ranges from a size 6 to 22 and is already priving a hit in stores. But it's not available on the website so you'll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on it. According to Tesco workers at one local branch, the F&F buy is the "most perfect summer dress". Another employee revealed it's been in high demand so far, as she said: "Had to refill this one at work today, lovely dress." And a third member of staff gushed: "Girlies RUN to F&F for the prettiest brown dress!!" Unsurprisingly, fashion fans have been left in a frenzy over the dress after spotting it in store. "Gorgeous dress, bought it today", gushed one. A second wrote: "I bought this yesterday and it is absolutely stunning on." "I love herrrr", chimed in a third. Tagging a pal, a fourth suggested: "Wedding??" Meanwhile, a fifth chimed in: "Bought this yesterday it's beautiful!" More supermarket bargains While you're in store, you may also want to keep an eye out for the £19.50 'chuck on' summer dress that is "gorgeous on" and comes in three colours. Eagle-eyed shoppers have also fallen in love with Tu's Yellow Striped Tie Detail Midaxi Tea Dress, which is priced at £28. Describing it online, the Sainsbury's team say: "Perfect for summer occasions, our yellow tea dress has been designed with puff sleeves, an elasticated waist with shirred detailing, finished with a tie fastening at the neckline for a touch of elegance. "Cut to a flattering, midaxi length. Wear with suede sandals and golden accessories." The dress is already sold out online so you'll need to be quick to get your hands on it in store. If you're self-conscious about a mum tum or your upper arms, delighted fashion fans say this is definitely one for you. One said: "Absolutely beautiful dress... even prettier in person. It's a lovely light fabric to wear in summer and feels very flattering on my plus size body. "The pockets are an added bonus! Very pleased with this purchase." A second wrote: "Bought this because I was drawn to the colour for the summer. "Love the length of the skirt and the fit at the waist - really flattering!" Is supermarket fashion the new high street? DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in: The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family. Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a 'strong growth in clothing' and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street. Asda's clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury's clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year. So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful? Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it's good quality too - with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative. A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year. Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
