Stone County law enforcement conducting homicide investigation
STONE COUNTY, Mo. — Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader announced the Stone County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) is investigating a homicide after a body was found near Shell Knob this morning.
SCSO deputies were dispatched to a location off of Highway H for a deceased male laying near the road. Deputies and detectives arrived on scene and found that the deceased was a 44-year-old male who lived close to the location.
'At this time, Stone County detectives are processing the scene and conducting a homicide investigation,' Rader said.
Those who have information related to this investigation are encouraged to call the SCSO and leave a message for Det. Brian Landreth.
