I used B&M & Primark bargains to turn my balcony into a tropical paradise – I also made it super private with a £10 buy
A MOTHER has revealed that she hasn't got a garden, so gave her balcony a total transformation without breaking the bank.
Whilst she was pregnant, Victoria Wright, who is better known as 'Vickaboox' online, nabbed a haul of bargain buys from B&M and Primark to give her outside space a mega makeover.

Not only was she able to add colour and style to the balcony, but thanks to a £10 buy from B&M, she was able to turn it into a tropical paradise with much more privacy.
The 29-year-old content creator, who now has a baby boy called Christopher, took to social media to share her balcony transformation, leaving many totally stunned.
The mum-of-one who lives in a flat, showed off her 'basic' balcony and said: 'Let's take our balcony from boring, basic, plain, crusty, dusty to year of the bad B, not the sad B, cocktail in hand vibes and of course we've done it on the cheap using everything from Primark and B&M.'
The influencer then revealed the step-by-step process of the balcony overhaul, as she added: 'So first of all, we cleaned the balcony…then once everything was clean, we laid out our new outdoor rug - this one was on sale in B&M for £12.
'We also got some reed screening from B&M on sale for £10, just to give that tropical vibe and also for a bit more privacy.'
Victoria attached the reed screening with cable ties to ensure it was 'nice and secure' and explained that when they move, they can remove it easily without any damage.
To then give the balcony a bit of colour, she added £1 hanging pots she bought from Primark and planted some flowers.
Following this, she accessorised the space with cheap LED fairy lights and tea light holders.
Thrilled with her balcony's new look, Victoria beamed: 'I think this looks super fun, super colourful, also deposit friendly because we rent, so we didn't have to change anything or make any dramatic changes.
'Just added a little bit of life and a bit of colour. I love it.'

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ vickaboox, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 11,700 likes and 70 comments.

How to save money at B&M
Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.
The scanner lets you see if an item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.
Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.
Here's how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:
Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
Once you've installed it on your device, click on the option labelled "more" on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
You'll then find an option that says "barcode scanner". Click on this and you'll open a camera screen.
Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
You don't need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.

Call The Midwife 'to end after 15 series as the cast of long-running BBC drama begin to film final scenes'
Beloved BBC series Call The Midwife will reportedly come to a close with its 15th series this year. The heartwarming show first aired in 2012 and has since put out 14 series, totalling to more than 100 episodes following the nurses and nuns in Poplar. A Christmas special for this year has already been announced, with the cast currently at work filming for series 15 to air next year. However, according to The Daily Star, the season will be the show's last, as bosses want the popular drama to 'go out on a high'. A source told the publication: 'After years of drama and countless births, Call The Midwife is coming to an end. The team have decided it's time to draw the show to a close and bow out. 'This is the last we'll see of these much-loved characters. Storylines will tie up a lot of loose ends. It's a bittersweet time for the cast and crew. They're all sad it's coming to an end, but they want to make sure the show gets the ending it deserves.' However, the insider teased that there could be a special return episode one day in the future, saying: 'The writers are also open to the idea of reviving Call The Midwife for a special one day in the future. It's a case of never say never.' Earlier this year, the show's creator, Heidi Thomas hinted the longstanding drama may take a break from production in the future. She told Radio Times in February: 'Those of us who are most invested with the show, cast and producers alike, who have been there since the beginning, it is our lives. 'I don't believe Call the Midwife will ever end. But I do think we might take a break at some point.' The screenwriter added that there was an 'ongoing conversation' each year where they discuss if there is an 'end point' to the show and what they want to 'work towards'. 'So if we do take a break, it will be with a view to looking at other aspects of Call the Midwife,' Heidi explained, before hinting that a spin-off may be on the cards too. 'I have never run out of stories for our midwives, and I never will. But having wept, laughed, and raged my way from 1957 to 1971, I found myself yearning to delve into the deeper past.' She reflected how the East End during the Blitz was 'extraordinary' and 'filled with loss, togetherness, courage and joy'. Heidi added: 'The bombs fell, the babies kept on coming, and the Sisters kept on going.' The writer teased what was in store for the prequel and said: 'There will be so much in the prequel for our wonderful, loyal fans, including the appearance of some familiar (if much younger!) faces. 'As the classic Call the Midwife series moves further into the 1970s, it also seems the perfect time for our much-loved regulars to take a short break from Poplar and test themselves in an unfamiliar landscape. 'The rise in hospital births, and changes in the NHS, have clipped their wings, and this is their chance to take flight and work out what really matters. Brad Pitt got to drive real McLaren F1 car as new movie hits cinemas
Hollywood star Brad Pitt has described driving a Formula One car as an "extraordinary" experience, as his highly anticipated film, F1: The Movie, makes its debut in UK cinemas. The actor, who portrays F1 driver Sonny Hayes in the blockbuster, recently got behind the wheel of a McLaren's 2023 car at Austin's Circuit of the Americas. Despite extensive driving experience over the past two years while filming – including modified F2 cars – the 61-year-old was reportedly "blown away" by his first taste of an F1 machine.
