IPL 2025 CSK vs RR Live Streaming: Where to watch cricket match today?

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to face off against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 62nd match of the IPL 2025 season, to be held at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. With both teams already out of playoff contention, they will be playing for pride in their remaining fixtures.
CSK currently sit at the bottom of the points table, having managed just three wins in twelve games, along with nine defeats. It's been a forgettable season for the five-time IPL champions. However, they've used the opportunity to experiment with fresh talent in recent matches, which could pay dividends in the future. In their last outing, CSK secured a narrow two-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders. Notably, key overseas players such as Sam Curran, Rachin Ravindra, Jamie Overton, and Nathan Ellis will not be available for the remainder of the tournament.
Rajasthan Royals, positioned ninth on the table with a similar record of three wins and nine losses, also faced a tight finish in their previous game, losing to KKR by just one run. The squad has seen a recent change with Lluan-dre Pretorius replacing the injured Nitish Rana. Meanwhile, Jofra Archer has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

Preity Zinta Looks Heartbroken In First Appearance After PBKS' Loss To RCB In IPL Final

Last Updated: On the work front, Preity is set to return to films with Lahore 1947, marking her big-screen comeback after a long hiatus. Preity Zinta made her first public appearance after her team, Punjab Kings, suffered a heartbreaking defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 final. The actress and co-owner of Punjab Kings was spotted at Mumbai airport looking subdued, just days after the emotional loss. In videos and photos shared online by paparazzi, Preity was seen exiting the airport dressed in a casual grey sweatshirt and jeans. She kept her face partially covered with a black mask and wore a cap to avoid drawing attention, but her demeanour suggested she was still processing the tough defeat. Despite the cameras around, she remained composed and quietly made her way to her car. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) On June 3, RCB made history by winning their maiden IPL title, defeating Punjab Kings in a thrilling final. While the RCB camp celebrated their long-awaited victory, it was an emotional night for the Punjab team and their loyal supporters. No one felt it more deeply than Preity Zinta, whose emotional investment in the team over the years has been evident. Dressed in a traditional white kurta paired with a red dupatta and matching salwar on the final match day, Preity had walked down to the field post-match to greet her team. With a heavy heart, her face drained and eyes moist, she was seen consoling players, visibly heartbroken by the result. The images and clips from that moment went viral, with fans flooding social media with messages of support for her. The final was significant not just for RCB, who ended their 18-year wait for a title, but also for Punjab Kings, who were eyeing their first IPL win. For Preity, the match was yet another emotional rollercoaster in her long-standing journey with the league. On the work front, Preity is set to return to films with Lahore 1947, marking her big-screen comeback after a long hiatus. First Published:

We have a perfect mix of experience and talent: Gill

As he gears up for his maiden Test series as the captain of the Indian team, Shubman Gill knows that he has big shoes to fill in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who retired from the format recently. But the youngster is looking forward to the challenge. 'The pressure is there on every tour. These (Kohli and Rohit) were two big players who had won so many matches for India, so it is difficult to fill their shoes. But the pressure is no different, and we are all used to playing in pressure situations and are aware of how to win,' Gill said on Thursday. 'The batting and bowling combination in our team is very good. We have a perfect mix of experience and talent.' Having led the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League over the last couple of seasons, Gill understands that a clear communication with the players is the key to success. 'I wouldn't say that there is a particular style that I would like to follow, but the more you play, the more experience you get. I like communicating with the players, making them feel secure and providing them that comfort. Building a bond with the players is very important, and if you are the captain of a team, you have to do this,' Gill said, adding: 'If your players feel very secure, then only they can give you their 100 per cent.' Leading up to the series, he practised with Dukes ball on the sidelines of the IPL. However, he has yet to decide his batting position. 'We have a tour match in London, so we still have time to decide on the batting order,' he said. Coach Gautam Gambhir, however, admitted that the pressure always mounts up ahead of every series because the goal remains to win. The series will also see the return of Karun Nair, and Gambhir admitted that if one performs well in domestic cricket, the doors of the national team are never shut. Asked whether Shreyas Iyer could be called up, the coach said, 'Anyone can be called if they are in good form.'

Bengaluru Stampede: Karnataka HC Asks Pointed Questions To State Govt, Demands Reply By May 10

The state government must specifically address when and by whom the decision to hold the RCB victory celebration was taken and the manner in which it was made The Karnataka High Court has taken suo motu cognisance of the stampede near Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday, which resulted in 11 fatalities and numerous injuries during celebrations for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's IPL victory. In a significant order accessed by CNN-News18, the high court has posed a series of pointed questions to the state government and demanded a comprehensive status report detailing its responses. The court's directive states that the status report, to be filed by the government, must specifically address when and by whom the decision to hold the victory celebration was taken and the manner in which it was made. It also requires details on the steps taken to regulate both traffic and the crowd. The HC further demands information on the medical and other facilities arranged at the venue and whether any advance assessment was made regarding the expected attendance. Crucially, the court has asked whether injured persons received immediate medical attention from experts at the venue, and if not, why not, and how long it took to transport them to hospitals. The court also seeks to ascertain if a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) exists for managing crowds of 50,000 or more at sporting events and similar celebrations and whether permission was sought to organise the event. Chief minister Siddaramaiah said on Friday that his government has suspended the police commissioner and three other top officers. He asked the police to arrest representatives of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), DNA Entertainment, and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Administrative Committee. Retired high court judge Michael Cunha's one-person commission will submit a report on the stampede in 30 days. First Published: June 05, 2025, 22:17 IST
