This UFC women's flyweight bout scheduled for three rounds is taking place Saturday, June 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Namajunas (13-7 MMA, 11-6 UFC) and Maverick (15-5 MMA, 8-3 UFC) have been friends and former training partners in Colorado, so their level of familiarity with each other should be high. Namajunas, 32, a former UFC strawweight champion, has experienced mixed results since moving up to 125 pounds in 2023. She's 2-2 in the division, with wins over Amanda Ribas and Tracy Cortez.
