
Yemen gears up for Ramadan program with focus on faith, service
Sana'a - Saba:
As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Yemeni officials are finalizing preparations for a comprehensive program aimed at fostering spiritual growth and enhancing public service.
A meeting led by Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Nasser al-Mehdhar, brought together ministry leaders to outline plans for the Ramadan 1446 AH program, which will be implemented throughout the capital Sana'a and provinces.
Al-Mehdhar emphasized the unique context of this Ramadan, marked by recent Yemeni victories and strong support for Palestine.
He urged participants to approach the month with a focus on spiritual reflection, good deeds, and strengthening their connection with Allah.
A key focus of the program will be maintaining job discipline within government agencies to ensure efficient service delivery and timely completion of tasks.
Al-Mehdhar stressed that Ramadan should be a period of enhanced patience, perseverance, and engagement with the Quran, allowing individuals to fully reap the spiritual benefits of the holy month.
The program aims to reinforce the spirit of faith throughout the country, promoting a deeper understanding and practice of Islamic values during Ramadan.

Al-Houthi reveals surprise about Sana'a's rapprochement with major countries
SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana'a province, revealed the existence of a great rapprochement between Sana'a and major countries. Al-Houthi said: 'This rapprochement will be revealed in the coming days.' 'The Yemeni position in the Red Sea serves Arab national security, noting that it has become clear to many countries that the Yemeni position is linked to Gaza,' he added. Al-Houthi stressed that Sana'a is with Egypt in having full sovereignty over the Suez Canal, considering Sana'a's military operations a guarantor for Egypt and the Suez Canal. Al-Houthi also confirmed, in an interview with Al-Masirah TV, the continuation of Yemen's position towards Gaza, noting that the Americans failed in their war on Yemen and that the Yemeni missiles forced them to stop their aggression against Yemen.
