Biden's staff may have been involved in ‘some degree of a cover-up' of his cancer diagnosis

Sky News AU21-05-2025

Lawyer and Democrat lobbyist Nathan Daschle has suggested that there was 'some degree of a cover-up' when it comes to former president Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis.
Mr Biden's office revealed earlier this week in a statement that the former president had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which has spread to the bone.
'I think that there was some degree of a cover-up on the part of his staff to conceal the status of his health, but it wasn't very successful,' Mr Daschle told Sky News Australia.

'Trump very well may go to Beijing ... but at the end of the day, Chinese are still going to make their moves in the Indo-Pacific.'

NYC Democrats roasted for ‘nutty propositions' during mayoral debate

Sky News host James Morrow has roasted New York City Democrat mayoral candidates for their 'nutty propositions' made during a debate. 'Here's one candidate, Brad Lander, saying he would warn illegal immigrants of ICE raids and give them free healthcare,' Mr Morrow said. 'Here's Jessica Ramos saying she wants to get lawyers to help local illegal migrants and get them into the workforce. 'And socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani, who is looking a good chance to get the nomination, well, he couldn't even support the idea of Israel as a Jewish state.'

‘When there's smoke there's fire': US beef imports from external countries must be ‘ruled out'

Nationals Leader David Littleproud says the potential of US imports of beef from places like Mexico and Canada needs to be ruled out 'immediately' by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. 'He needs to make sure that he is very clear with Australian producers that our biosecurity standards will not be reduced,' Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia. 'I don't think Australian producers are asking for anything unfair here.'
