In a reply cable to Yousef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, on the occasion of International Labour Day, His Majesty expressed appreciation for the achievements of Bahrain's labour movement and its continued efforts to serve the interests of the workforce.
HM King Hamad congratulated Bahraini workers on the occasion, expressing gratitude to every individual who has dedicated time and effort to the Kingdom's development.

Annual Ashoora coordination meeting set
The Jaafari Endowments Directorate announced the organisation of its annual meeting for Hussaini Maatams and procession supervisors across the governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting will be held on Monday evening at New Season Hall, Adhari Park, with the participation of representatives from official bodies, Hussaini Maatams, and stakeholders involved in preparations for the Muharram season for the year 1447 AH (2025) Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments, expressed appreciation for the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in ensuring the care of religious observances, particularly during Ashura. He noted the ongoing support provided by state institutions to facilitate the annual commemoration.
