What you need to know about Irish driver set to make McLaren debut

Alex Dunne, a 19-year-old Irish driver, is set to drive for McLaren in the first practice session (FP1) at the Austrian Grand Prix on Friday.
This opportunity comes as a reward for his impressive form, as he currently leads the F2 championship standings with two victories.
Dunne, who joined McLaren's driver development programme last May, will replace Lando Norris for the FP1 session.
His participation fulfills part of the team's requirement to run a rookie driver at least twice in each car throughout the 2025 season.
Both Dunne and McLaren team principal Andrea Stella expressed enthusiasm for this significant step in his development within the team.

Sir Mo Farah runs into trouble at airport security after his trophy sets off alarms

OLYMPIC great Sir Mo Farah ran into trouble at airport security — when a trophy he had just received set off alarms. The distance runner had been presented with an honorary Clio Sports Award at Cannes in the South of France. 3 But the tall golden figure with upstretched arms had to be separately scanned from the rest of his hand luggage at Nice airport. Witnesses said the delay left the 42-year-old four-time Olympic champ racing to make his flight. But one added: 'He remained in good spirits, as always. "It held him up for about five minutes before he was allowed through following the extra checks. 'It looked like he was flying solo. "The airport was packed with people from the event and he had a few congratulating him on his award.' Sir Mo gave a speech after collecting the prize this week at the Sport Beach event. He also hosted a Run Club where fans could keep pace with one of Team GB 's greatest athletes on Tuesday morning. It followed his performance in Soccer Aid at the weekend when England lost 5-4 to the World XI. Revealed: Chelsea are weighing up a move for Alejandro Garnacho as he looks for an Old Trafford escape route - while Blues forward could head in the opposite direction

Chelsea are considering a summer swoop for Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United, who are in turn looking at a potential move for Christopher Nkunku. Nkunku is not seen as a priority for United currently but rather an option. Garnacho has been on Chelsea's winger shortlist since January, when they were tempted to try for the 20-year-old Argentinian. It was noted at the time that they could hold an advantage over rival clubs if they revisited the transfer this summer. However, there could be concerns over his character, given his history of United fallouts. That has included this week when he sparked headlines by uploading a picture of himself wearing an Aston Villa shirt bearing Marcus Rashford's name on the back while holidaying. Chelsea also retain an heavy interest in Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens, though have struggled to find a breakthrough thus far. Chelsea bid £42million for Gittens in FIFA's initial transfer window which was open before the Club World Cup. Dortmund turned that down as they have maintained they want £50m with Bayern Munich now said to have entered the race for the 20-year-old Englishman.
