Korean Cosmetics Firm Kolmar Shares Jump 25% as Founder Sues Son

Shares of South Korean cosmetics maker Kolmar Holdings Co. jumped as much as 25% after a subsidiary confirmed its founder sued to reclaim shares gifted to his eldest son.
The lawsuit, which was filed by Yoon Dong-Han in a Seoul court last month, seeks to have his son Yoon Sang-Hyun return 2.3 million of the holding company's shares that were gifted to him in 2019, according to a statement from the subsidiary, Kolmar BNH Co.
