'Talking behind the back.....': Kamran Akmal and Babar Azam's father engage in a heated social media war after....
New Delhi: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam and his father are making headlines for their antics during the ongoing white ball series against Bangladesh. While Babar Azam's father is engaged in a verbal fight with Kamran Akmal, Babar is also busy crossing all limits. Babar crossed all limits when he almost got into a scuffle with a cricket fan on the road.
Babar Azam is currently out of the Pakistan T20 cricket team. He is a part of the Test and ODI team. In the video of Babar Azam that is going viral, it is not clear whether Pakistani fans have taunted Babar for being dropped from the T20 team or not being given a place in the white ball team, but the viral video shows that the former captain got into a heated argument with some fans on the road.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam's father Azam Siddiqui is also in the headlines. The controversy started when Kamran Akmal said that Babar should only play Test cricket and he does not fit in white-ball formats. He made these comments on a podcast while discussing the exclusion of Babar and Mohammad Rizwan from the T20I team. After this, Babar's father hit back at Kamran Akmal through social media. He shared an old photo of Babar and Akmal, in which he took a dig at Akmal and called him a jealous and unsuccessful player.

PAK vs BAN, 3rd T20I: Mohammad Haris hits maiden hundred as Pakistan whitewashes Bangladesh

Mohammad Haris hit a swashbuckling maiden international century to guide Pakistan to a 3-0 clean sweep of Bangladesh with a seven-wicket win in the third and final Twenty20 International in Lahore on Sunday. Haris, playing in his 17th T20I, carted seven sixes and eight boundaries in his 107 off just 46 balls as Pakistan chased down a challenging 197-run target in 17.2 overs for its first home T20I series win in three-and-a-half years. Pakistan won the first two matches by 37 and 57 runs at the same venue. Parvez Hossain smashed four sixes and seven boundaries in his solid 34-ball 66 to lift Bangladesh to 196 for six in its 20 overs. Pakistan lost Sahibzada Farhan for one in the first over but Haris, whose hundred came up off 45 balls, added 92 for the second wicket with Saim Ayub and an unbroken 60 for the fourth with Salman Agha, who made 15 not out. Ayub hit four sixes and two boundaries in his 29-ball 45 while Hasan Nawaz scored a 13-ball 26 as the home batters enthralled a near-capacity 30,000 crowd at Gaddafi Stadium. Earlier, Parvez shared a 110-run opening stand with Tanzid Hasan (32-ball 42 with three sixes and as many boundaries) after the tourists were sent in to bat. The Parvez-Tanzid stand gave Bangladesh an ideal start for its highest T20I total against Pakistan, beating the 175 for six it made against it at Pallekele in 2012. Towhid Hridoy, who scored 25 from 18 balls with a six and two boundaries, then added 49 for the third wicket with Litton Das, who made 22. Fast bowlers Abbas Afridi (2-26) and Hasan Ali (2-38) were the pick of the home bowlers. Related Topics Pakistan / Bangladesh

Viral video: Shahid Afridi's 'Boom Boom' welcome at Kerala alumni event triggers row; Organisers say "visit was unplanned"

A major controversy has broken out after Pakistani cricketers Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul appeared at a dance event in Dubai, organised by a group claiming to be alumni of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat). The event was held on 25 May and has triggered strong criticism from several quarters in India. Video goes viral, sparks outrage The event was organised by the Cochin University BTech Alumni Association (CUBAA), UAE. A video of Afridi being welcomed at the venue went viral, with people in the crowd cheering him and shouting his nickname "Boom Boom." The event was hosted at the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD), which has also added to the controversy. — AtulRaj91844463 (@AtulRaj91844463) by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ingin Tahu Tentang Diagnosis Limfoma? They said they booked PAD as a venue long before any tensions between India and Pakistan escalated and could not change the location at the last minute. Cusat denies any connection Cusat was quick to distance itself from the event. In a statement, the university said it had no links to CUBAA UAE. It clarified that its only official alumni body is the Cusat Alumni Network (CAN), and that it was not aware of any such programme happening in Dubai. The university said it had no affiliation, partnership, or communication with CUBAA UAE and had not authorised or supported the event in any way. Live Events Political groups demand action Several organisations linked to the Sangh Parivar, including the ABVP, strongly condemned the event. BJP leader K Surendran accused the organisers of insulting the memory of Indians who died in the Pahalgam terror attack. He said on Facebook, 'If not traitors, what else can you call the Malayali organisation that brought Pakistani cricketers for a celebration in Dubai?' ABVP leaders have gone a step further, demanding that the passports of CUBAA UAE office-bearers be cancelled. They have written to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of External Affairs, calling for a probe into the incident. Organisers say cricketers just showed up In a detailed statement, the organisers said they had no role in bringing Afridi or Gul to the event. They claimed the cricketers had arrived at the PAD building for a different event and made an unexpected appearance at the alumni gathering, which was just wrapping up. They stressed that neither Afridi nor Gul was listed on their official programme. 'We regret any confusion or inconvenience caused. The cricketers' arrival was completely unplanned and we were not able to manage the crowd due to the surprise,' the statement said. A sincere apology CUBAA ended its note by expressing deep regret. 'We apologise to anyone who was hurt or offended by what happened. It was never our intention to upset anyone or bring disrespect to our country,' they said. The incident continues to stir debate, especially with calls for investigations into how the event was organised and what links, if any, exist between the organisers and official alumni networks.
