Ryan's next romance story confirmed in Emmerdale - and it could majorly backfire
Ryan Stocks (James Moore) has been left a single man following Gail Loman's (Rachael Gill-Davis) exit in Emmerdale.
When Gail returned to the village in 2023, she quickly reunited with Ryan. While they faced challenges, their relationship ultimately remained strong, but that changed a few days ago when Gail made an upsetting realisation.
In the salon, Gail and Ryan took part in a Mr and Mrs quiz. Things were pretty embarrassing for them, as they got quite a lot of questions wrong, making it seem as though they didn't know each other very well.
In the pub, Gail told Ryan that they've fallen out of love with each other. She then told Ryan she'd be leaving the village for Devon, where she'd start a new job with her friend.
So, Ryan is single, and in upcoming episodes, Ross (Michael Parr) decides he's the right man to offer him some advice with getting back out there, as he tells Ryan to start playing the field again.
This is Ross we're talking about. He's not exactly got the best track record when it comes to romance – will things backfire?
Ross is also single right now following Steph's (Georgia Jay) decision to break up with him. He drowned his sorrows in The Hide but was then approached by a lonely Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker).
Ross and Manpreet spent time flirting and playing pool, which then ended up with the characters sleeping together. More Trending
The next morning, Manpreet tried to tell Ross that they could continue their fun little fling, but he spotted Caleb (William Ash) in the distance.
Not wanting to give the impression he's moved on so soon after Steph, Ross completely ignored Manpreet's comments and left her on the doorstep.

Emmerdale fans call for popular star's return as he ‘offers advice' in big story
Emmerdale fans have flocked to social media to call for Kelvin Fletcher's return as Andy Sugden. The actor, 41, appeared on the ITV soap for two decades from 1996 to 2016. Recent scenes have shown his on-screen brother Robert (Ryan Hawley) make a grand return, and is feuding with their other brother John (Oliver Farnworth), who was born as a result of an affair in the late 80s. A few weeks ago, John visited Robert in prison in an attempt to keep him away from the village – and from reuniting with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). Robert then returned to Emmerdale, clearly wanting to break the pair up and claim back his ex-husband. When Aaron rejected his advances, he began to chat-up a customer at The Hide. Little did he realise, the man had slipped drugs into his drink, having been enlisted by John to complete the deed. The next morning, dazed and confused, he woke in the back of a van. John was stood over him, syringe in hand. Yikes. Robert jumped onto him to stop, and became confused when their sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) swanned over and seemed aware of the situation. John tried to play the doting brother, and the syringe contained medicine to 'help him'. Now, amid the drama, viewers reckon that Andy should return to sort out the situation. This was sparked by a comment from Kelvin on Instagram reading: 'Don't trust him Robert, I'm telling you.' 'Time to bring Andy back!!' said one fan on X. More Trending 'Yes! @emmerdale That would be perfect, bring Andy back. Get someone else to open Victoria's eyes,' said another. A third added: 'This story would actually be a perfect return for Andy so Robert has someone who 100% backs him no matter what.' 'Bring Andy home,' penned a fourth. View More » So, what do you think? Paddy badly hurt after savage Bear attack in early Emmerdale ITVX release
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) has been subjected to a verbal and physical attack by his father Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) in Emmerdale. The beloved character has been terribly worried about his dad in recent weeks, due to the fact Bear has been suffering from mood swings and forgetful moments. Yesterday, Paddy popped home and noticed that Bear had forgotten to take Eve to school. He reminded Bear, but he claimed that Paddy did not mention taking the young girl to school. In The Hide, Paddy ended up telling Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) about his concerns. It reminded her of the period before her family knew about Ashley Thomas' dementia, and suggested that Paddy conducts a few memory tests on his dad. With Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) convinced it was a bad idea, Paddy got Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) onside to help. In the pub, Pads and Marlon asked Bear a few questions that would test his short term memory, like asking what he had for dinner yesterday. Unfortunately, Bear worked out what was going on and reacted with anger. Outside, Bear pushed his son against a wall and berated him. Bear commented on Paddy's mental health and also put his hands on his neck. As Bear is a former wrestler, it really was no surprise when Paddy said his dad was hurting him. More Trending The outburst left Paddy in a place he had never been before. At home, he told Mandy that he isn't sure if something is wrong with Bear, or whether this is just a side to his dad he has done a very good job at keeping hidden. Paddy now knows that if Bear's behaviour is going to get worse, he'll have to do something drastic to keep him away from the family. Dementia fears for Bear in Emmerdale as Paddy worries for his dad
Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is continuing to grow worried about his father Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) in Emmerdale. In recent weeks, Bear's behaviour has changed. Shortly after he began fixing an old bike at Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) garage, Bear snapped at Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). He grabbed the young man and shouted at him, a move that left Paddy concerned. Yesterday, Paddy was surprised once again when Bear announced his plans to depart the village temporarily. He spoke about an old wrestling friend in Ireland and how he wants to fix his bike so he can go and see him. Paddy, thinking this would benefit his dad a fair bit, was happy for him, but his mood changed when Bear revealed he'd be gone for 2-3 months. The fear that something is going on with his father continued for Paddy in tonight's episode. When he briefly popped home, he found Bear and Eve playing together. It was a sweet scene but not for very long, as Paddy told his dad that Eve was meant to be at school. Bear had no recollection of this conversation and claimed that Paddy did not tell him to take the young girl to school. As Paddy sent Eve to her bedroom for her uniform, there was concern on his face. It was very clear his dad was changing, he just didn't know why. In The Hide, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) happened to spot Paddy looking worried. He opened up about his dad and his sudden mood swings, and it reminded her of the period just before the Thomas family knew Ashley had dementia. More Trending Paddy pondered over the thought of his dad also having this, and tried to tell Bear that it might be a good idea to book a doctor's appointment. Sadly, Bear remained set in his ways. As far as he was concerned, there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? The latest gossip from Emmerdale? When Gabby approached, Paddy explained that he couldn't persuade Bear. She then gave him food for thought, telling Paddy that it's very possible to do some online memory tests with Bear and just not actually tell him. Given how often Bear's anger reaches the surface at the moment it is a risk, but Paddy is terribly worried. Will the tests help?
