Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club recently revealed its latest rotating speak-easy: The Hidden Boot Saloon.
The intrigue: The Wild West-themed immersive bar within a bar offers themed cocktails in creative vessels, country music and a mechanical bull.
What I tried: Sitting next to a Dolly Parton mural, I sipped on the tequila-infused Buckaroo Water ($18) mixed with meszal, jalepeño-strawberry syrup, pickle water and lemon-lime soda.
I also tried the pineapple rum-forward "Cowboy Colada" ($18) made with salted caramel whiskey, double rye whiskey, piña colada mix and molasses.
Between the lines: The menu features zero-proof cocktails and an extensive selection of country-style burgers and bar bites.
Hours: It's open 5-11pm Wednesday-Thursday and 5pm-1am Friday-Saturday.

'We know this is a great vacation spot and this is a wonderful place to come have supper because kids will be hungry after that, maybe they'll sleep good too after they had a good meal and been entertained,' she joked during her speech. The singer has two other locations for her pirate dinner theater show. One is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the other is in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she also has Dollywood. At age 79, Parton isn't slowing down. She's still performing, opening new businesses, and staying involved with her fans. People take to the stage with a 3-to-5-minute PowerPoint presentation to pitch one of their single friends to a crowd of other singles. It's ridiculous and fun. The presentations are positive and heartfelt pitches for why you should date their friend. Pitch-A-Friend will also host nights on June 11 at Rail Werks Brewing Depot in Columbia Heights, June 27 at Wild Mind Ales in Minneapolis, and July 10 at Fat Pants Brewing in Eden Prairie. Every night is LGBTQ+-friendly, but the June 17 one is specifically the group's "Queer Night" event. (free) June 21, at Insight Brewing in Minneapolis Dubbed a "charity party for cats and queers," Insight is bringing back its patio party filled with vendors, artists, beer, and cats that need some scratches. The free event, cosponsored by Twin Cities Pride and Ruff Start Rescue, will have a "kitten snuggling booth" where 100% of proceeds for entering go toward supporting Ruff Start's shelters. There will also be live music from Daphne Jane, Riley Skinner, and Chastity Brown. (free entry) June 22, at First Avenue in Minneapolis Wrestling and pride? If that's surprising, you probably haven't been paying close attention to F1rst Wrestling or seen its "F1rst Wrestling Is For Everyone" t-shirts. Wrestlepalooza will include burlesque from Sweetpea and Co., music by The Denim Boys, and plenty of wrestling. Proceeds will benefit OutFront Minnesota. ($45.90) June 27–29, at Loring Park in Minneapolis Minnesota's largest free pride festival returns — sans Target — from June 27 to 29. It starts with the Twin Cities Pride Youth Night on June 27 from 4–8 p.m. Then the party runs throughout the weekend with three stages of entertainment, artists, more than 650 vendors, heaps of food trucks, a couple of beer gardens, a cannabis garden, and lots more around Loring Park. The festival still hasn't outlined all of the entertainment that will be happening, but that will undoubtedly be coming soon. And don't forget the Twin Cities Pride Parade. That'll roll down Hennepin Avenue from 3rd Street to Spruce from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (free) June 27, at Minneapolis Sculpture Garden A day before the Twin Cities Pride Festival takes over Loring Park, cross Lyndale Avenue to taste the wares from heaps of local craft breweries in some good company. ($59.43–$74.93) June 28, at First Avenue in Minneapolis Flip Phone, the Minnesota-founded event promoter that hosts drag brunches all year, has a lot going on in June. That includes this First Avenue party starring RuPaul's Drag Race vet Anetra. The full June lineup for Flip Phone is extensive, including more than a dozen drag brunches with themes like Prince, Bad Bunny, the 2000s, and Shrek vs. SpongeBob. It's also got a one-woman show with Suzie Toot, a Pride Parade viewing party, and a Pride Disco Block Party on June 29. Premiere Playhouse holds Dolly Parton costume contest
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A Dolly Parton costume contest is taking place Friday, June 6, at the Premiere Playhouse (TPP) office from 5-8 p.m. in the Rock Island Plow building. New coffee shop already looking to the future Contestants are asked to show up in their best Dolly Parton costume, fill out a form, and have their photo taken to enter the contest, according to a Facebook post and press release. Those participating will have the chance to win a Season 23 Mainstage Subscription package, ride on the pride parade float, and be crowned 'Queen Dolly.' Voting will be done by TPP staff on June 9, and the top three Dolly's will be notified if they're advancing to the next round. These three winners will be invited to ride on the Playhouse's pride parade float on June 14. Crews respond to fire at Delux Motel on West 12th Street Online, the public can vote on who will win the title of 'Queen Dolly' from June 9 to 20, and the champion will be crowned on the Orpheum Theater stage, before the '9 to 5' show begins on June 21.
