SOUTH DAKOTA (KCAU) — A person has died in a crash in Lincoln County, South Dakota.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports a woman died and a baby was injury after a crash at 282nd Street and 469th Avenue, which is southwest of Worthing, South Dakota.

Authorities reported a Nissan sedan was heading west on 282nd Street and lost control. The driver allegedly over-corrected, and the vehicle left the roadway and rolled.
The highway patrol claimed the driver, a 24-year-old woman from Lake Andes, South Dakota, wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. She died, and a baby passenger, who was properly buckled in, was minorly injured.

Driver arrested after crash injures 3 children at lemonade stand in Burke County
BURKE COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 24-year-old woman has been charged after a crash sent a vehicle off the road and into three young girls who were running a lemonade stand. The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, on Conley Road near Arthur Mull Road, just south of Morganton. According to the NC State Highway Patrol, Haley Erin McCorkle, of Hickory, was trying to turn left out of a driveway in a Chevrolet HHR when she pulled into the path of an oncoming Nissan Altima. The impact pushed the Nissan off the road and into a front yard, right where three girls, ages 7, 8, and 9, had set up a lemonade stand for the afternoon. All three were critically injured and rushed to nearby hospitals. Two were airlifted; the third was taken by ambulance. 'I was scared': Family of Morganton girl hit by car, along with two others, recounts the tragic moment None of the drivers involved were hurt in the crash. McCorkle is now facing charges for failure to yield the right of way, causing serious bodily injury. Troopers said there's no indication that speed or impairment played a role in the crash. Family members of the injured girls said the crash happened in an instant. 'I was right there, and it just happened so fast,' said Elizabeth, the sister of one of the girls. 'I just ran and got my mom.' The girls' parents described the scene as terrifying and heartbreaking. One father said he was traumatized after seeing what happened to the children. Pedestrian hit and killed in Asheville
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – Police are investigating a wreck which killed a pedestrian Tuesday in Asheville. According to Asheville Police Department, at around 10:01 p.m. officers were called to the intersection of Patton Avenue and North Louisiana Avenue for a wreck involving a pedestrian. Police said the wreck occurred when a 2000 Nissan Sentra going west on Patton Avenue through a green light hit a pedestrian trying to cross the road outside of a designated crosswalk. The pedestrian, whose identity has not yet been released, died at the scene. Police said the driver of the Nissan stayed at the scene and the wreck remains under investigation.
