Real-life ‘Notebook' tragedy as ‘loving' couple who were married for 74 years die just HOURS apart on the same day
A TRAGIC couple who were married for 74 years have died just hours apart on the same day - striking an uncanny resemblance to The Notebook.
"Loving" couple Odileta Pansani de Haro and Paschoal de Haro died a mere 10 hours apart - almost like Noah and Allie in the romcom classic.

Their poetic deaths occurred just two days after their 74th wedding anniversary.
Loved ones claimed that the Paschoal had been praying for the pair to die on the same day - after he was diagnosed with bowel cancer and his wife was already suffering from Alzheimer's.
God seemingly answered his prayers in April, when the couple's magical tale came to an end on the same day in the same room at their home in Brazil.
For the last few years before their deaths, Odileta was cared for by her husband while she suffered from dementia.
The unforgettable couple were born in Brazil - Odileta in Mirassol and Paschoal in neighbouring Bálsamo.
They first met in the main square of Votuporanga when she was 15 and he was 18.
The picture-perfect romance began when Paschoal was minding his own business and fixing a piece of jewellery.
But as fate would have it - the chain flew out his hand and hit Odileta's arm.
This consequential moment sparked laughter between the pair before they went on to chat and eventually start dating.
Years after their blooming romance, they tied the knot in April 1951.

The fairy-tale couple went on to have six children together.
Odileta looked after the children while Paschoal worked at a fabric shop.
They then became grandparents, and after that were made great-grandparents.
Odileta and Paschoal also founded a charity in Votuporanga to donate baby clothes to single mothers and food to those in need.
Son-in-law Luciano Leal told local media: "They were always welcoming, always loving, always willing to help others, anyone, with no distinction of race or social status."
He said that the pair "always stood for self-love and the love they had for one another".

'And they poured that love into helping those around them,' he added.
The storybook couple celebrated their last wedding anniversary surrounded by their family.
Luciano said: 'It's a love story worthy of a film.
'They always said they'd leave together - and they did.
He added: "They lived, they loved, and they triumphed in this great passion they had for each other. And they leave behind this beautiful family."
Odileta tragically passed away at 7am on 17 April, aged 92, while Paschoal died at 5pm the very same day, aged 94.
They were at their home in Votuporanga, north-west of São Paulo, Brazil.
The heartbreaking couple's lives have been compared to The Notebook - the 2004 movie which tells the story of a young couple whose love endures despite separation and the passage of time.
The female character also suffers from dementia towards the end of the film while her husband takes care of her.
At the end of the film, the two characters pass away peacefully side by side, symbolizing their eternal love even in death.

Danniella Westbrook looks loved-up as she steps out holding hands with new boyfriend Charlie Symonds
Danniella Westbrook cut a sporty figure as she attended the OSCAR at The Crown theatre production with her new boyfriend, Charlie Symonds, in London on Thursday. The actress, 51, sported a seamless beige zip-up top and matching workout leggings from Under Armour as she arrived hand-in-hand with Charlie. She completed the athleisure look with chunky white trainers and carried a Louis Vuitton shoulder bag for her essentials. Meanwhile, her 42-year-old boyfriend kept it casual in a lime green zip-up jacket and light blue denim jeans. He completed his look with grey-and-white chunky trainers and a gold wristwatch. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It comes after MailOnline reported that Danniella has finally found her 'soulmate' and is planning to marry the bare-knuckle boxer who 'doesn't judge her'. Danniella, who rose to fame on Eastenders, is in a 'love bubble' with Charlie 'Chasa Real Talk', following her highly publicised personal struggles. She is even said to be planning additional surgery to get herself looking her best ahead of what could be her third marriage. An insider told OK! magazine: 'Danniella feels that she's found her soulmate. Chasa doesn't judge her one bit and doesn't care what has happened in her past. 'He understands all about the issues she's been through but is supportive – he just wants to make her happy. 'She's really smitten and feels like she can trust him, which is a really big deal for her.' The TV star hinted that the romance was getting serious on Instagram where she shared snaps from her Greek getaway with Chasa. The pair reportedly began as friends, having known each other for six years, before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. This was confirmed by Chasa himself, who wrote on Instagram: 'Sometimes that one friend is just too good to let go.' According to the insider, Danniella has been praying for a happy relationship for a long time. They added: 'She is thinking about marriage and definitely wants to tie the knot with him, it's a no-brainer for her and she's ready to commit fully.' Danniella was previously married to Ben Morgan between 1998 and 1999 and then to Kevin Jenkins from 2001 to 2014. Her nasal septum famously collapsed in 2000 following excessive cocaine use and while she has had corrective surgery since then, she is said to be considering additional work ahead of any wedding. The claims come after Danniella said her life has 'changed dramatically' since her father passed away at the start of 2024. This tragedy enabled Danniella to 'pull herself back from the brink' again. She wrote on Instagram: 'I got myself back into recovery and [have] taken the right opportunities that have come and do come my way. I feel so grateful, blessed and useful.' Chasa, whose boxing name is the 'Croydon Bomber', is no stranger to the limelight even without Danniella and is signed to Conor McGregor's Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. He has also publicly spoken about his own addiction issues, revealing that drugs had led him 'down a dark road'. However, he is reported to have been in recovery now for several years.
