Dodgers place RHP Tony Gonsolin (elbow) on 15-day IL
June 7 - The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-hander Tony Gonsolin on the 15-day injured list on Saturday with right elbow discomfort.
Right-handed relievers Michael Kopech and Kirby Yates were activated from the 60- and 15-day injured lists, respectively, while fellow right-hander Chris Stratton was designated for assignment.
Gonsolin, 31, has posted a 3-2 record with a 5.00 ERA in seven starts since missing the team's first 30 games of the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery in September 2023. He allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits in five innings of a 6-1 setback to the New York Mets on Wednesday.
Other starters on the IL, who have pitched for Los Angeles this season, are Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki, all with shoulder injuries.
Kopech, 29, has been sidelined all season with a right shoulder impingement. He went 4-0 with six saves and a 1.13 ERA in 24 relief appearances last season. He went 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in 10 postseason appearances as the Dodgers won the World Series.
Yates is nursing a right hamstring strain. The 38-year-old owns a 3-2 record with a 4.34 ERA in 22 relief appearances during his first season with the club.
Stratton, 34, has been designated for assignment twice in the past six days. He previously was designated for assignment on Monday but cleared waivers and was outrighted to the minors before rejoining the Dodgers on Friday.

Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed the idea of a return to former club Tottenham to replace Ange Postecoglou as 'not realistic'. Spurs are seeking a new head coach having sacked Postecoglou just 16 days after leading the club to Europa League glory, their first trophy in 17 years. United States boss Pochettino ended a five-year stay at Tottenham in November 2019, having helped Spurs reach the final of the Champions League that year. The Argentinian signed a two-year contract to become US head coach last September and is expected to lead the team into next year's home World Cup. Speaking after his side's 2-1 friendly defeat to Turkey in Connecticut, Pochettino told reporters: 'After I left in 2019, every time that I was free, and the place of the position of the manager or head coach in Tottenham Hotspur, my name is appearing on the list. 'If you have seen the rumours, I think there are 100 coaches in the list. I think, don't be worried about that.
