Juventus ensure Champions League action next season with victory at Venezia
Locatelli kept his nerve 17 minutes from time after Venezia, relegated with the defeat, had fought back in a vain attempt to deny Juventus finishing fourth in Serie A.
Daniel Fila fired Venezia ahead after two minutes and a quickfire Juventus equaliser through Alberto Costa was ruled out by VAR.

Juventus did level through Kenan Yildiz's fine finish after 25 minutes and Costa set up Randal Kolo Muani six minutes later.
Ridgeciano Haps equalised for Venezia 10 minutes after the restart, but Hans Nicolussi Caviglia brought down Francisco Conceicao and Locatelli calmly dispatched the spot-kick to guarantee Juventus joy and Roma pain.
Despite winning 2-0 at Torino, Roma came fifth and will play in the Europa League next season.
Leandro Paredes converted from the spot to put Roma ahead after 18 minutes and Alexis Saelemaekers soon added a second after the restart.

Atalanta were already assured of third place and Champions League qualification but lost 3-2 at home as Parma secured their top-flight survival.
Daniel Maldini scored twice in the space of 60 seconds to give Atalanta a comfortable half-time lead.
But Parma replied through Antoine Hainaut and a Jacob Ondrejka double, with the winner coming in the first minute of stoppage time.
Empoli's relegation was confirmed by a 2-1 home defeat to Verona.

Nicolo Fagioli, Pietro Comuzzo and Moise Keane – who scored the winner eight minutes from time – turned around an early deficit against Udinese hosts, who had Jaka Bijol sent off for two bookable offences before half-time.
Lazio finished below Fiorentina on goal difference and miss out on European football altogether after losing 1-0 at home to 10-man Lecce, who started the day in relegation danger.
Santiago Pierotti was sent off in first half stoppage time after Lassana Coulibaly had put the visitors ahead, but Lazio could not find an equaliser and were reduced to 10 themselves in the final seconds when Alessio Romagnoli saw red.
Barcelona celebrated their LaLiga title success with a 3-0 victory at fourth-placed Athletic Bilbao.
Robert Lewandowski scored twice in the opening 17 minutes and Dani Olmo converted a stoppage-time penalty as Barcelona finished the campaign with 102 goals, becoming the first LaLiga side to reach three figures since 2016-17.
Atletico Madrid had earlier made absolutely certain of third spot by routing Girona 4-0 in Catalonia.
Substitute Alexander Sorloth scored a second-half hat-trick and Clement Lenglet was also on target as Girona's disappointing season ended on a low note.
Fifth-placed Villarreal finished on the same points total as Bilbao by beating Sevilla 4-2 for a sixth successive victory.
Yeremy Pino and Papa Gueye struck inside the opening eight minutes before Djibril Sow gave Sevilla hope.
Alex Baena restored the two-goal cushion and Gueye added a fourth after the restart, with Ramon Martinez managing a late consolation for the visitors.

They have now offered £55m plus £5m in add-ons for the Cameroon international, who banged in 20 Premier League goals last season. The offer appears to match Brentford's stated £60m valuation for Mbeumo. It would appear the final stumbling block in the move, given that the 25-year-old forward is keen to move to Old Trafford and has already agreed personal terms of around £200,000-a-week over a five-year contract with an option for an extra year. Gyokeres drops transfer hint Viktor Gyokeres has been linked with a move to Manchester United, due to his relationship with his old Sporting boss Amorim, and he has now ruled out on summer transfer. When asked about moving back to Sweden, the 27-year-old striker told Swedish Vogue: 'After living in a warm country, it would be difficult." Gyokeres is understood to be available for £60m from Sporting this summer, but Arsenal are considered to be front-runners, because they can offer Champions League football. However, the Gunners are still considering RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, so Gyokeres' move to north London is far from certain. Hojlund's future on hold Inter Milan are waiting to get their new manager in place before deciding on a potential move for Rasmus Hojlund. Inter boss Simone Inzaghi left the Italian giants to join Al-Hilal after their defeat in the Champions League final and his replacement isn't through the door yet. Cristian Chivu is poised to leave Parma to take over from Inzaghi and he will be given a say over a potential move for Hojlund. James has some competition if he wants to make the right-back position his own for next summer's World Cup, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker also in contention. Crystal Palace secured their spot in next season's Europa League after winning the FA Cup but their participation in the competition is in major doubt with UEFA set to make a decision Crystal Palace face a near MONTH LONG wait to discover their European fate. The Eagles secured their spot in the Europa League at the end of the season after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final. They were set to go straight into the league stage of the competition but there are now doubts over whether the south Londoners can actually compete in the tournament. UEFA rules forbid individuals having control of more than club to be in the same competition at the same time to avoid conflicts of interest. Eagle Football - the group owned by John Textor - is a minority shareholder in Palace, while they are also a majority shareholder in French side Lyon. Both clubs have secured qualification for the Europa League. As it stands, Lyon get priority over the Premier League side due to their superior league finish last term. Palace chiefs have attempted to win UEFA over by flying to their headquarters in Switzerland for talks. But it appears that Palace will have to sweat for a while over their prospects of playing Europe next season. That's according to the BBC, who say a decision from UEFA is not expected until at least the end of the month. The news will be a huge blow to Palace's hopes of planning for next season. Boss Oliver Glasner has already admitted that a place in Europe could affect their transfer ambitions. Speaking earlier this year, he said: 'From a financial perspective, Crystal Palace will never be a top-four club in England. Not with all the other big clubs here and that's not necessary because not everybody can be a top-four club. It's just not possible. 'This club got promoted in 2013. Since then, it has always progressed. Not huge steps. You can be a one-hit wonder and then you're gone. We said: our planning shouldn't be, 'Now we play in Europe, so let's do crazy things', and then everything collapses. We follow a pathway. 'This pathway didn't start with Oliver Glasner. It started with the new owners in 2010. Very stable, mid-table, always between 10 and 15. And this is where we are again. 'Now, it's step by step. Winning this trophy, playing internationally, getting this experience, and maybe getting some players we couldn't by playing European football. This can help us take the next step.' Palace have already seen one of their Premier League rivals take action regarding their European hopes. Nottingham Forest also saw a potential spot in the Champions League in jeopardy due to Evangelos Marinakis' ownership of Greek giants Olympiacos. He diluted his control of the East Midlands club by placing his shares in a blind trust.
