Speaking at the event, Suresh Gopi opened up about his personal journey with yoga.
He revealed that while he initially only observed Yoga Day by trying a few postures, he began taking the practice seriously from July 2023.

'Earlier, I used to do a few yoga postures just on Yoga Day. But from last July, I began taking yoga seriously.' he shared.
"I practiced consistently for about 45 minutes to an hour every day until February this year, when I had to stop due to illness. Still, during that time, I felt my body becoming remarkably comfortable and flexible," he added.
The actor also stressed the importance of integrating yoga into everyday life for its mental clarity, physical strength, and overall wellness benefits.
'JSK' set for June 27 release
'Janaki Vs State of Kerala', where Suresh Gopi will be seen playing a lawyer, is scheduled to release on June 27. The movie is directed by Pravin Narayanan who has also written the script of this court drama. Apart from Suresh Gopi, the film also has Anupama Parameswaran, Madhav Suresh, Divya Pillai, Askar Ali, Kottayam Ramesh and many others in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Suresh Gopi's previous hit film was the investigative thriller 'Garudan' which received 3.5 star rating from ETimes with our official review reading, "There is one specific point towards the end that can be guessed immediately before the scene takes place but it takes nothing out of the movie even though the audiences were screaming the plot twist. The punch does land and it's a satisfying watch. Midhun Manuel Thomas faltered at some point with the script but despite that the film is enjoyable and it recovers towards the end.
The story by Jinesh is appealing while it does have some expected elements. While it is a thriller about a rapist, it doesn't make audiences cringe. There is a subtlety with which it is carried that makes it palatable for audiences who do not prefer to see gore on screen."

'It's nearly impossible to get all the lead actors' dates aligned,' he said, mentioning that even Mohanlal's availability may not line up with actors from the Hindi or Telugu versions. That said, fans needn't worry — the plan is still to have the same basic story across all languages. Jeethu also revealed that Hindi director Abhishek Pathak recently visited him in Kochi to discuss timelines for the script handover. Jeethu Joseph said that there will be always speculations, but he is focused on getting the right story at this point. Actor Srikanth arrested in drug case, sent to Judicial custody till July 7

The arrest was made by the Greater Chennai Police on Monday, June 24, following a significant lead in an ongoing investigation. Prasad, a functionary of the AIADMK IT wing, who allegedly supplied banned narcotic substances to Srikanth. During Prasad's interrogation, authorities reportedly uncovered evidence pointing to the actor's involvement in the drug network. Based on the findings, actor Srikanth was taken into custody. He was interrogated at the Nungambakkam Police Station for over nine hours. Police collected a blood sample from the actor during questioning. This was later tested positive for narcotic substances. This led to strengthening the case against him. Produced before magistrate, remanded till July 7 As per legal procedures, Srikanth was first taken for a medical examination at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital before being produced before Magistrate Dhayalan of the 14th Metropolitan Magistrate Court. While audience preferences change and methods of storytelling develop, the industry must enthusiastically (or hesitantly) accept the invitation to renew itself if it wants to survive and matter. In an interview, with Galatta Plus, the Tollywood superstar discussed the changing taste of audiences. The superstar spoke about the highs and lows of the Telugu film industry, the shifting preferences of audiences, and the urgent need for reinvention to stay relevant in a rapidly changing cinematic world. While promoting his highly anticipated film 'Kuberaa', which is directed by Sekhar Kammula and stars Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh, Nagarjuna, 64, spoke against the prevailing idea that South Indian cinema , namely Tollywood, is currently in better shape than Bollywood. Nagarjuna mentioned that audience tastes are changing, and the audience is gravitating toward a broader range of genres like thrillers, action movies, and emotionally compelling stories. Films like 'Tourist Family' in Tamil, 'Court' in Telugu, and 'Anaganaga' on OTT platforms have captured the minds of audiences. "People's tastes are changing, and we need to keep that in mind. They have to change fast", he said, as he reminded us that ignoring audiences could lead to horrible results. "If we don't look at the future, things could be pretty bad. I feel that's what happened in Hindi. Now they'll change. It can't be fantastic all the time." The 'Mass' actor also responded to producer Naga Vamsi's recent proclamation about a potential "bloodbath" in Tollywood due to evolving audience dynamics and a likely streak of box office failures. While he offered the word "bloodbath" with healthy disagreement, Nagarjuna acknowledged the tough times ahead. "It's not going to be a bloodbath, but you'll see films that resonate with the new audience tastes working well," he said.
