Nicole Scherzinger Elevates Casual Dressing in Carolina Herrera Shirtdress for Tony Awards' Nominees Event
Nicole Scherzinger elevated casual dressing in a Carolina Herrera frock on Thursday, while joining her fellow 2025 Tony Award nominees for a press event in New York City. The former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman was nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical 'Sunset Blvd.'
Scherzinger wore the stretch-cotton wide-sleeve midi shirtdress in a nutmeg shade with dark buttons. The construction of the midi dress featured notched lapels, wide elbow-length sleeves, an extended tab waistband and a plunging neckline. The elbow-length sleeves of her dress were also cuffed for added structure.

As for the rest of her look, Scherzinger wore a pair of sand-tone pointed-toe pumps and accessorized her ensemble with pieces of gold jewelry, including a pair of statement earrings, rings and a coordinated bracelet.
Scherzinger's glam featured her hair styled in a bun on the crown of her head with wisps of hair to frame her face. Her makeup included such elements as bold brows, lined eyes and a glossy lip.
The press event was the latest stop on Scherzinger's 'Sunset Blvd.' promotional tour, and her first following her first Tony Award nomination. Prior to that, Scherzinger attended the 2025 Time 100 Gala on April 24, wearing a design from Zuhair Murad's pre-fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection.
The Zuhair Murad dress featured a black, off-the-shoulder sequin gown design, with shimmering elements and a short train, along with a plunging neckline and fabric contrast. Scherzinger also performed at the 2025 Time 100 Summit in New York City on April 23, wearing a shimmering sheer look courtesy of Stella McCartney.

Wright State alum takes home Tony Award for Best Actress-Musical
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Wright State alum claimed one of theater's biggest prizes Sunday night. Nicole Scherzinger, who studied at WSU from 1996-99, took home the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical award at Sunday's ceremony for her starring role as Norma Desmond in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Sunset Boulevard.' The Tony is the latest in a string of honors for Scherzinger. She won an Olivier Award last year for the London production of the musical before it relocated to New York City's Broadway. In April 2025, she was named as one of Time Magazine's most influential people. 'If there's anyone out there who feels like they don't belong, or your time hasn't come, don't give up,' she said in her acceptance speech Sunday. Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated June 14) for a third consecutive week, following its debut atop the list dated May 31. It earned 246,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending June 5 (down 14%), according to Luminate. It's the largest third week for an album in over a year, since Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department earned 282,000 in its third frame (May 18, 2024-dated chart). Also in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, new albums from SEVENTEEN and Miley Cyrus debut, while Swift's chart-topping reputation, released in 2017, returns, zooming 78-5.
