Egypt's Amina Orfi Wins New Zealand Open Tournament

The rising Egyptian squash star Amina Orfi has achieved a new milestone by winning the New Zealand Open Squash Championship.
Held between March 4 and 9, the tournament, classified as a Silver event, featured a total prize pool of $75,000 for both the men's and women's competitions.
Orfi secured victory in the final by defeating Japan's Satomi Watanabe with a clean sweep of 3-0 in a match that lasted 38 minutes.
The game scores were: 11-5, 11-8, 11-5.
Following her triumph, Orfi expressed her disbelief, saying: "Honestly, I still can't believe it. Before the tournament, even when I was in Egypt, I didn't think about winning the title. But I tried to put it out of my mind. It was a tough match that could have gone either way, so I just focused throughout."

Tottenham Appoint Thomas Frank as New Head Coach
Rana Atef On Friday, Tottenham appointed Thomas Frank as their new head coach. His contract runs until 2028. Spurs sacked Ange Postecoglou despite winning the Europa League to end the club's 17-year trophy drought. Australian Referee Crew to Officiate Al Ahly vs Inter Miami in Club World Cup Opener
H-Tayea FIFA has announced the referee team for the highly anticipated opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup between Al Ahly SC and Inter Miami CF, scheduled to take place at 3:00 AM Cairo time on June 15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. An Australian officiating crew will take charge of the match, with Alireza Faghani appointed as the main referee. He will be assisted by Anton Shchetinin and Ashley Beecham, with Szymon Marciniak also part of the officiating team.
