David Beckham is recovering after an apparent injury recently left him hospitalized, his wife Victoria Beckham—with whom he shares Brooklyn Beckham, 26, , 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and , 13—revealed.
The Spice Girls star shared an image of David, 50, resting in a hospital bed with his right arm strapped into a big blue sling. In the snap shared to her Instagram Stories June 27, the former Manchester United player is all smiles while tucked into his bed and wearing a hospital gown.
The 51-year-old designer captioned the photo, "Get well soon daddy."
In a subsequent slide, Victoria posted a picture of David's tattooed hand holding a bracelet that said "GET WELL SOON." In the photo, he appeared to be in bed and no longer in the hospital.
Though exact details behind David's hospitalization are unclear, he clearly has a support system in place to get himself back to good health. The Inter Miami CF co-owner's injury comes after he recently expressed his gratitude for his family to commemorate Father's Day.
"My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad," he captioned a series of throwback photos on Instagram earlier this month. "I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy (sorry boys) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what."
He also made sure to give Victoria a shout out in his sentimental post.

'Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father,' David added. 'There is no greater gift in life than making me a dad. Happy Father's Day. I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.'
His loving words for his family come amid speculation of an ongoing rift between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and the rest of their family.
While a source recently told E! News claims that the David and Victoria's oldest child has gone no-contact with his parents "another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth," Brooklyn and Nicola did recently hire a new lawyer as the rumors continue to grow.

Talented musician and school's former director of music dies aged 74
A TALENTED musician and former teacher who inspired the community in music-making has passed away aged 74. Hugh Turpin, of Oak Crescent, Whitehaven, formerly of St Bees, was director of music at St Bees School and had a life-long passion for running choirs. Born in Doncaster in 1950, he showed an aptitude for music at an early age so his parents sent him for piano lessons. He then joined the local church choir and soon became head chorister. As a child Hugh devoured music scores and would go to the library two or three times a week to hire classical music. Hugh Turpin had a life-long love of music (Image: Family handout) However, his interest covered many genres which led to him forming his first band while a young teenager at school. After hearing the band rehearse a couple of teachers were so impressed they asked if they could join and Hugh was happy to recruit them. As a young boy Hugh held various positions as church organist and would cycle many miles to get from one church to another. The fruits of his labour meant he was earning a man's wage while still a schoolboy. Then aged 14 he was asked to take over as Choirmaster of St James' church choir in Doncaster which began his life-long passion of running choirs. He was accepted by Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester at the age of 16 and began his degree course there when he had just turned 17. He again began earning good money in his spare time playing jazz piano in hotels in Manchester. Hugh Turpin was director of music at St Bees School until he retired in 2013 (Image: Family handout) After graduating he took up his first teaching position in Liverpool. He then moved to Whitehaven and taught at Richmond school for 10 years where he enrolled both staff and pupils in many concerts and shows including full scale productions, notably Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance. This job saw him take on an additional role helping out other schools across Copeland and Allerdale. Time spent with staff at Wyndham School led to him forming The Wyndham Singers which later became The Priory Singers when the school closed but the choir members wanted to continue. In 1983 Hugh was given his dream job at the prestigious St Bees Public School and remained there as director of music until his retirement in 2013. His 30 years there was to yield many close friendships and a plethora of music. Hugh Turpin, director of music at St Bees School, gives pupil Sarah Berwick some advice (Image: The Whitehaven News archive) Productions included Ruddigore, Tartuffe, Oliver, The Beggar's Opera, The Sound of Music, The Threepenny Opera, Pantomimes, Sweeney Todd, with Hugh triumphing in the title role. He accompanied students to Russia and China and took school choirs on tour to Germany. There were weekly Chapel services filled with music, Proms on the Crease and Nine Lessons and Carols at Christmas. A musical venture with some colleagues resulted in the forming of a successful quartet, Deo Gratias, which saw the four members of staff performing spots on Radio 3 and receiving rave reviews in the national press. One of Hugh's other collaborations was with fellow musician Anthea Bremner. In 1997 they joined forces to form Lakeland Opera and many productions followed. St Bees Village Orchestra was another inspiration to involve members of the community in music-making. Hugh Turpin pictured in 2006 (Image: The Whitehaven News archive) Away from music one of Hugh's other passions was sailing. Always wanting to excel in any endeavour he studied for, and achieved, his Yacht Master and Navigation qualification. He became musical director of West Cumberland Choral Society in 2009 where romance was to blossom. Hugh and Vanessa had each lost their partners and friends and relatives were delighted when they went on to marry in 2013. Hugh's stroke in 2014 meant he could no longer play the piano but, never one to be idle, he spent many hours composing and arranging music. Having built his first computer in the eighties he went on to develop a keen interest in flight simulators and was awarded the rank of Captain after completing the requisite number of flying hours. Hugh Turpin pictured on his wedding day (Image: Family handout) Hugh leaves behind his wife Vanessa, son John, grandchildren Rebecca and Luke and brother and sister Philip and Cathie. Vanessa said the messages they have received from people saying how he inspired them and was influential in their career path has been 'overwhelming'. His legacy of music lives on in the many recordings made of him playing virtuoso pieces on the piano. Some of these were used at his funeral service in St. Bees Priory.

All the reasons why Love Island's Yasmin and Giorgio should couple up as they crack on in the villa
Last night saw Love Island's Yasmin Pettet move onto new boy Giorgio, and fans (us included) weren't mad at it. During Friday's episode (27th June), Yasmin pulled Giorgio for a chat and the conversation was flowing. Following the conversation, fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter) shipping the duo. "Would like to see Yasmin get with Giorgio," one wrote. "The way I see it for these two. Considering Yazbot get those cookies," another said. As they crack on, here's all the reasons why Giorgio and Yasmin should couple up at the next recoupling. This is the first conversation viewers have seen between Yasmin and Giorgio, but there were no awkward silences between them, and it looks like there could have been a little chemistry between them, too. "You surprised me the most when I came in and I think this could be the first chat of many," Giorgio told her. "I like you and I think you have a good vibe," she replied. This is the smoothest chat Yasmin has ever had. I'm liking Giorgio for her 👀 #LoveIsland — . (@notifunanya) June 27, 2025 During the conversation, Giorgio complimented her posture, saying: "I think you've got incredible posture… but you're lovely as well." Since Yasmin entered the villa, her impeccably straight posture has been a talking point on social media, so Giorgio's comment didn't go unnoticed to viewers. "Someone finally broke the ice about her fantastic posture," one viewer wrote. Their conversation comes after Yasmin had an argument with her current partner Ben, who made some very harsh comments, calling her "irrelevant" after allegedly telling the boys that she was "no good". Clearly, Giorgio isn't bothered by the whispers in the villa and is getting to know Yasmin regardless, which is a good sign. them acknowledging yas's posture literally feels like breaking the 4th wall #loveisland #loveislanduk — Becky💛 (@noitsbecky13x) June 27, 2025 'Your posture is phenomenal' #loveisland #loveislanduk — Jamie B (@JamieBolton) June 27, 2025 Helena broke things off with Giorgio after telling Harrison that he wasn't her "type". Helena then explained this to Giorgio, who took in on the chin, so he's now single and available. Yasmin, go get your man! wait cuz yasmin and giorgio look kinda cute together hold up… #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK — brina (@sabrinasjoint) June 27, 2025 New episodes of Love Island air on weekdays and Sundays on ITV2 at 9pm. I still enjoy Glastonbury after going sober - here's how
A Glastonbury steward has spoken about his experience as a sober raver at the festival. Rich Watkins, from Brighton, is volunteering with the Oxfam festival campaigning team at Glastonbury this week. 'I used to go to Glastonbury in my twenties, and then I became sober two years ago after a few health scares, and I wanted to go back in a way that I felt would be wholesome and supportive of that', the 35-year-old said. Read more Everything you need to know ahead of Brighton's Race for Life this weekend Restaurant manager to walk 365 miles across country for charity Summer picnic and music workshop held to mark Learning Disability Week in Brighton "Oxfam was so supportive, and it was a completely different way to experience a festival. 'The expectation to show up, turn up and do a good job and interact with people, was great, but also being safe and supported and having that sense of community. Everyone is so caring and if you ever needed support, they would be there to help. "The community with Oxfam is a really big thing. There are about 50 of us campaigners here and we all went out together yesterday after our shift for example, and went dancing together. 'We took some of the newbies to see the view for the first time of the Pyramid Stage and it was so nice to share that with them and see how excited they were. That's what it's all about. "If you want to come, enjoy a festival and make a real difference, volunteering with Oxfam is a great thing to do. 'And for anyone who is thinking about doing a festival sober, I would advise doing a lot of preparation, find safe spaces, and do the work you need to do to know you can do it. 'But the great thing about doing something with Oxfam, if you want to do something sober, is that you are not alone. 'But that doesn't just apply to people looking to be sober at a festival - if you are anxious or by yourself or whatever it is, you are a part of a community and everyone is there to help you."
