Chesney Hawkes: Mickey Rourke is a 'hurt man'
Singer Chesney Hawkes has described veteran US actor and fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Mickey Rourke as a "hurt man" after his departure from the reality show.
Hawkes spoke about his Big Brother housemate on the TV Bafta Awards red carpet and recalled the "inappropriate" comments he made on the programme.
"It's like a balance with him, really, because there's a side to him that's obviously rough," he told the PA news agency.
"He said some things that were very inappropriate and not okay to a lot of the housemates, but then there's another side to him, that's kind of a lost little boy in life.
"He's a hurt man and, unfortunately, I think hurt men hurt. I feel for him. He needed to go, but it was an interesting experience for him."
Speaking about the Bafta nominations, Hawkes expressed his fondness for Disney+ series Rivals starring David Tennant.
"The one that I've been talking about, mostly because I loved it so much, was Rivals. Big David Tennant fan. That's my recommendation - Rivals."

Disney reveals new details about much-anticipated Avatar World – and one beloved ride is set to close
DISNEYLAND Resort has revealed more details about two upcoming attractions based around Avatar and Pixar's Coco. The Avatar destination will transform part of the Hollywood Backlot area in Disney California Adventure. But there's sad news for some because in order to make room, Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! will close in early 2026. For anyone who's a fan of Monsters Inc., there is a new land opening up at Disney World's Hollywood Studios . But the concept images show a boat ride that looks similar to the Shanghai Disneyland version of Pirates of the Caribbean. It won't be the first Avatar-themed attraction in Disney as Pandora: The World of Avatar land opened at Disney World's Animal Kingdom in 2017. 'Then over a little bit of time I realised that I started to feel something for Christopher that I never intended, but I couldn't not feel. 'And I'm a very, very lucky girl because he was feeling the same thing. 'We were watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire ? And the answer to the winning question was serendipity and somebody replied 'and do you know what serendipity is, it's you and JoJo'. 'And we googled it and both of us freaked out because that was the million dollar question. 'The word serendipity is Christopher and I's favourite word now. If you read the definition of it, it's essentially finding love when you're least looking for it. It's beautiful. 'I don't know how the universe did align for Chris to come into my life.' When asked if she had any recollection of sadness from her life, JoJo said: 'Leaving England when I left a month ago. I was really sad that day because I not only had to say goodbye to everybody but I was saying goodbye to the phase of life that was Big Brother. 'And I was really sad. When I got home it took me maybe three or four weeks to get over the sadness. It was really hard.' After returning to England and seeing Chris again, she revealed how smitten she is, adding: 'I want Chris to last for a lifetime.' She is planning new tattoos to mark her affection for him and fond memories of CBB. She said: 'The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother that I would get this bamboo stick. 'And I said that I would get a little bamboo stick tattoo, and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there.
