DJ found dead in car as police launch probe over 'mysterious' death
"In one second you made my heart beat faster after years and in one second it was shattered into a million pieces that could never be put back together."
A DJ has been found dead in a car in Poland as police launch an investigation into the "mysterious" death.
DJ Hazel, real name Michał Orzechowski sadly died in Poland at the age of 44 on May 7.
The cause of death is unclear, which has prompted a police probe due to the "mysterious circumstances".
He was found near Skępe, Lipno County on Wednesday according to reports from TVP3 Bydgoszcz. Police spokeswoman Małgorzata Małkińska confirmed when the DJ's body was discovered and told the Pinnacle Gazette authorities are attempting to clarify the situation.
DJ Hazel was a key figure in the electronic music scene across Europe since launching his career back in 1998. He even got the nickname of 'Fastest Hands of Europe' thanks to his skills, reports the Mirror.
The musician also won the title of European Vice-Champion at the European DJ Championships held in Germany.
Tributes have poured in for the star as fans paid respects to the late artist. DJ Hazel's fiancée Zosia shared a heartbreaking message alongside a photo of them together.
In a post translated from Polish, she wrote: "Yessss music brought us together.... this was Our one of many favorites.
"My sweet friend ...My sweet fiance ....My partner in crime.....Our home heroes .... No one and nothing is and will ever be able to replace you."
She added: "In one second you made my heart beat faster after years and in one second it was shattered into a million pieces that could never be put back together.
"I don't say goodbye to you, my dear Bear, you just wait for me. I love you with all my broken heart !!! How am I supposed to cope without you."
Polish DJ Pawbeats said: "DJ Hazel is dead, I can't believe it. Michał was one of the first who wasn't afraid of totally 'unacceptable' combinations for those times, like playing 'Weź piórkę' with Pawbeats Orchestra at Przystanek Woodstock.
"Thank you for the most famous bubble in Poland, for those 15 bubbles, for being a total dude with an inimitable distance and a mine of anecdotes at every meeting in Bydgoszcz (and not only). My heart breaks."

EastEnders exit story as Queen Vic fan-favourite packs his bags and leaves
George Knight (Colin Salmon) bids farewell to The Queen Vic in EastEnders next week, in the wake of wife Elaine's (Harriet Thorpe) affair. As we've seen this week, Elaine was left furious after discovering her husband spent Christmas evening in the company of his ex-wife Sabrina. While he remained insistent that he rejected her advances, he later went on to seek advice from his other ex-wife, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins). This only infuriated Elaine further, and she contacted old mate Drew Peacock (Paul Clayton) for a pep talk. Having taken his words to heart, she decided to hop into bed with a Prince Albert punter named Stephen. Riddled with guilt, she returned home and was shocked to see George make an impassioned plea to forgive him. At that moment she realised that he hadn't cheated – but she did. Still believing that she needed to be won over, and not picking up on her obvious torment, he pulled out all the stops by serenading her in The Vic bar. Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) urged her mum to come clean, and when she did, it had disastrous consequences. George couldn't see past her infidelity, even if she was pleading for forgiveness, and started to pack his bags. In upcoming scenes, Elaine puts on a brave face as George's best mate Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) tries to convince him that he should give her a second chance. After all, he did kiss Cindy last year! With Phil's words of wisdom ringing in his ears, George tells his wife that he's prepared to forgive her, but an enraged Elaine can't believe that he won't take responsibility for his part in the break-up and rejects him. It's the end of an era as George walks out of their home, but Linda tries to see the more positive side to things by arranging a divorce party to cheer her mum up. Phil notices how much Linda is struggling behind the bar by herself, and offers to chip in his expertise while Kim and Denise Fox (Tameka Empson and Diane Parish), Mo Harris (Laila Morse), Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) and Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) try and perk Elaine up. More Trending Hitting the bottle hard, Elaine proudly announces that all prosecco is on the house for the remainder of the evening. She then offers to book Priya on a singles cruise, telling her that she needn't worry about paying her back straight away. The next morning, Linda is horrified to see £5,000 gone from the business account, and a hungover Elaine dismisses her. Phil feels that she's gone off the rails, and chastises her for treating Linda poorly. When Elaine tries to broach the subject with her daughter, she downplays her overwhelm. First picture of sicko Scots mum jailed for helping to run horrific global monkey torture network
We can also reveal fresh details of the disgusting messages Herron sent online MONKEY MONSTER First picture of sicko Scots mum jailed for helping to run horrific global monkey torture network Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A SADISTIC Scots mum jailed for helping to run a horrific global monkey torture network can today be unmasked. Natalie Herron, 39, and fellow sickos paid for thugs to inflict agonising deaths on baby macaques. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Natalie Herron, 39, arranged the torture killings of baby monkeys 2 She shared sickening videos of tiny monkeys being crucified, dipped in boiling oil and hacked with machetes Neighbours told of their revulsion at learning how the mum, 39, shared sickening videos of tiny monkeys being crucified, dipped in boiling oil and hacked with machetes. We told how the monster, who also ran online votes on the animals' agonising death methods, was jailed for 27 months this week after admitting hoarding and sharing the harrowing footage. But a source in her home town of Airdrie told The Scottish Sun: 'Natalie can never show her face here again. It won't end well for her if she does. 'She has always been one for the watching. But nobody could have imagined she could do anything so twisted. It's all that anyone here is talking about. 'She's a marked woman for what she did to those poor babies.' We can also reveal fresh details of the disgusting messages Herron sent online to other sadists. She spoke with undisguised glee about seeing the defenceless creatures having their faces melted with a blowtorch, being chopped up in a food blender and even having their private parts cut off. The brute also said it was 'awesome' to watch a clip of a terrified macaque being wrapped up into a ball with cellotape. Herron was caught after US cops took down the group's ringleader Michael McCartney, 51 — who called himself 'The Torture King'. They paid for henchmen in Indonesia to steal young long-tailed macaques from their mothers then film their barbaric deaths. Inside monkey torture ring where fiends pay for animals to be put in blenders for sexual kicks Scots cops raided Herron's four-in-a-block flat in 2022 and found a phone with 1,084 pics and videos. Officers also found 4,000 warped WhatsApp messages she sent. In one, she moaned the screams of a dying monkey were 'making my ears bleed'. Another said: 'I am shocked how easily the drill went through the skull, it was like butter.' Herron discussed her preferences with other sickos, saying: 'Trying to find a video where they will kill the mum and the babies watch. 'Torch its whole face off until it's just skull and melting skin haha. 'Or watch them be blitzed in blenders and scalped, d**ks cut off, set alight. If only my family and friends knew they'd never look at me the same again lol.' The fiend also organised a poll on what the group wanted to see next. One suggested option was for a baby monkey to be sealed in a jar filled with biting fire ants. Herron later gleefully told the others: 'We finally got our ants in a jar. Phenomenal!'' Neighbours told of their disgust at the fiend, who they used to see walking a pet dog. At Herron's front door is an ornament of a squashed hedgehog with tyre tracks on its back. One local said: 'Natalie was a weirdo. She wouldn't give you the time of day if she saw you outside. Most just thought she was rude. 'But many are now glad they never got to know her. 'The shame should follow her forever. She's a vile pig.' A nearby shopkeeper claimed Herron's family will be distraught over the shocking revelations. He said: 'Her parents are lovely people. Her dad was a nice guy and her mum worked for the NHS. Natalie was always a pain. But I don't understand what she'd get from all this. Her poor parents will be so ashamed.' Our unmasking of Herron was backed by Sarah Kite, co-founder of Action for Primates. She said: 'Her depravity in paying for and watching the sadistic and gratuitous torture and killing of baby monkeys is horrifying. 'It is in the public interest for people to know who she is.'' Nina Jackel, of animal rights group Lady Freethinker, added: 'Those who participate in these crimes must be held accountable to help deter future offenders.' A BBC probe previously revealed the evil network. Last November Holly Le Gresley, 37, was caged for two years and Adriana Orme, 56, for 15 months in Worcester after they admitted causing unnecessary suffering to animals. Macartney was jailed for more than three years last October in Virginia, US.
