Albanese government under ‘huge pressure' to review defence spending
Sky News host Steve Price claims the Albanese government is under 'huge pressure' to review Australia's defence spending.
'The Albanese Government is under huge pressure now to review not just the total spend, as it should do, but what we are actually spending the money on,' Mr Price said.
'You have to ask how that looks today after all the NATO countries, bar Spain agreed to Donald Trump in one form or another to boost the GDP measure, spending against defence, by putting it up to 5 per cent.
'Australia needs a strong alliance with the world's most powerful military, whether the left and the Greens and Paul Keating like it or not.'
