Karnataka SSLC exam 2 result 2025
: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially released the Karnataka SSLC 2 Result 2025 today. The supplementary examination, conducted for Class 10 students who either failed or aimed to improve their scores in the main board exams, concluded earlier this month.
Candidates can now access their results via the official website — karresults.nic.in.
This year's SSLC Exam 2 was held from May 26 to June 2, with all written papers conducted in a single morning shift across various centres in the state from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. The examination began with the First Language paper and ended with subjects including Elements of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Programming in ANSI 'C', and Economics.
In addition, practical and oral exams for vocational and technical subjects were conducted on June 3, 2025, marking the final phase of the supplementary process.
The supplementary pathway gained increased importance this year after the main SSLC 2025 exam recorded a pass percentage of just 62.34%, leading a significant number of students to opt for Exam 2. Historical data underscores the supplementary exam's relevance — in 2024, nearly 31% of participating students cleared the exam, reaffirming its role as a critical second chance in Karnataka's education system.

Nagpur: With the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) functioning without an elected general body since March 2022, the civic administration has steadily increased its budgetary provision for holding the impending 2025-26 civic polls, earmarking a record Rs20.21 crore. This allocation marks a significant 167% rise over the Rs7.56 crore spent during the last civic elections held in 2017 and a 242% increase compared to the Rs5.90 crore spent in 2012. The enhanced provision also reflects a 68.4% jump from the Rs12 crore NMC used to routinely set aside since 2021-22. However, with no elections announced until now, the civic body was diverting the earmarked funds towards providing basic amenities during mid-year budget revisions. Municipal commissioner and administrator Abhijeet Chaudhari, who presented a Rs5,438.61 crore budget for the 2025-26 fiscal, increased the provision anticipating State Election Commission (SEC) announcing the long-delayed polls this year. The new poll provision accounts for about 0.37% of NMC's total budget. New bottling plant in Naini to boost water supply for rly stns
Prayagraj: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) is setting up a new Rail Neer packaged drinking water bottling plant in Saraswati Hi-Tech City, Naini, Prayagraj to ensure adequate supply of hygienic drinking water for passengers. Currently, the daily demand is being met by trucks transporting water from the Maneri plant in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. However, due to increasing demand, especially during summers, supply shortages often force the sale of alternative water brands at stations. The new plant, with a daily production capacity of 100,000 litres, is expected to end these shortages and ensure the availability of standardised, high-quality drinking water at stations and food plazas throughout the Prayagraj region. Once operational, this plant will supply 22,000 litres of Rail Neer daily to nine railway stations across the Prayagraj city region, including the busy Prayagraj Junction. The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has allotted 25 acres of land for this project, and an investment of Rs 25 crore has been proposed.
