30-year-old Fond du Lac woman arrested following 6-mile police pursuit
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Fond du Lac say a woman is now in custody following a 6-mile pursuit Tuesday night.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac Police Department, officers responded at 11:32 p.m. for a reckless driving complaint in the area of West Johnson Street and North Peters Avenue.

Officials say a witness reported that a dark-colored SUV was swerving between lanes, driving with the headlights off, and allegedly attempting to ram the witness's vehicle.
The witness was able to safely pull over and meet with a Fond du Lac officer while additional officers continued to look for the suspect vehicle.
One officer later found the vehicle going east on West Johnson Street near North Pioneer Road and attempted to make a traffic stop.
While attempting to make the stop, police say the vehicle continued heading east through several intersections before making a U-turn at North Seymour Street before pulling over.
Officers attempted to order the woman out of the vehicle but she reportedly did not apply and sped off heading west on West Johnson Street.
Police, along with deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office and troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol, pursued the woman down West Johnson Street and out of the city while reaching speeds up to 65 miles per hour.
Stop sticks were successfully deployed near Highway 23 and County Road Y where the driver finally slowed down and pulled over.

Officers say the pursuit lasted about 6 minutes over six total miles and the 30-year-old Fond du Lac woman was taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on the following charges:
Recklessly Endangering Safety
Fleeing/Eluding
Operating While Impaired

Kewaunee PD seeking suspects allegedly involved in vehicle theft on 2nd Street
KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers with the Kewaunee Police Department say they are looking for information or camera footage of two car theft suspects near 2nd Street around 1 a.m. on Sunday. Young victims of Menasha fishing gear vandalism to receive donations thanks to overwhelming community support
MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – After overwhelming community outreach helped to quickly identify suspects who destroyed , the Menasha community is stepping up once again to provide those victims with donations. The Menasha Police Department will be hosting a special community event on Thursday, June 12, to recognize the three young victims from the late-May incident, while providing them with the generous donations that have been collected by the community. 'Thanks to widespread support from the public, the victims will be receiving donated fishing gear. Some items are brand new, while others were generously provided by community members and local anglers,' Menasha PD stated in a release. The victims stated that when they were fishing at night, they were approached by two strangers, and without provocation, the strangers threw multiple tackle boxes and fishing rods of theirs into the water. 'They came up and threw our gear in the water for no reason,' said one of the young anglers. 'Everything we needed was in that tackle box.' Within four hours of the case being made public, the two suspects were identified, and officers credited the overwhelming number of tips and messages from the community. 4th Annual Rocky Bleier Golf Outing in Wrightstown raises money for local veterans Officers say the event is a great opportunity to highlight the positive impact of community involvement after a senseless act.
