Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has often made the headlines with rumors of dating each other. However, in a recent interaction, the former has said that he is not looking for a 'life partner' as of now.
In his interview with Filmfare, Vijay Deverakonda was asked about what kind of qualities he is searching for in his wife. In his response, the actor said, 'Currently not looking for a life partner.'
The actor continued on the question and asked directly if Rashmika Mandanna fits the bill, to which he said, 'Any good woman with a good heart fits the bill.'
As Vijay Deverakonda was continuing his chat, he was questioned on his continued appearance alongside Rashmika on-screen and how their chemistry has evolved. In his response, the actor considered that they haven't collaborated that much yet.
Vijay further highlighted that he should do more films with her, considering she is great at acting and a beautiful woman. Finally, he concluded by saying that chemistry isn't of much concern.
Vijay Deverakonda's comments on collaborating with Rashmika Mandanna come at a time when rumors of them reuniting are going around. As per the buzz, the actors are expected to pair onscreen for the tentatively titled VD14, however, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
Coming to Vijay Deverakonda's work front, the actor is soon set to appear in the lead role in the movie Kingdom. The spy thriller film directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri is the first installment in a planned duology.
The upcoming film was touted to release in theaters on May 30, 2025, but due to the recent India-Pakistan tensions, the makers shifted the release date to July 4, 2025.
The film features Bhagyashri Borse with Satyadev playing a supporting character. The movie is musically crafted by Anirudh Ravichander, with the makers having already dropped the first single, Hridayam Lopala, earlier.
