‘To do what?' – Cole Palmer left confused as he's asked to name his Premier League Mount Rushmore
COLE PALMER was left flabbergasted when asked to name his Premier League Mount Rushmore.
The iconic American landmark, which has the faces of former Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln carved into it, is often brought up by sports fans when debating the greatest to ever do it.

But the sculpture in the hills of South Dakota are clearly something Chelsea and England ace Palmer isn't familiar with as he shook his head when asked if he knew what the tourist attraction is.
After having it explained that he needed to pick four figures to go on his Prem Mount Rushmore, he bemusingly asked: "To do what?"
Palmer eventually got to grips with the task and went on to reveal his list, which would've included two defenders had it not been for the interviewer.
He told Sky Sports NZ: "Cristiano] Ronaldo, [Thierry] Henry, Kevin de Bruyne and [Eden] Hazard."
Footage of Palmer choosing his Mount Rushmore went viral and scores of footie fans couldn't help but comment on the clip.
One said: "[He's] a savant. Great picks."
Another said: "He's funny and also some player."
And another said: "How anyone, not least a current top player, could not pick Rooney in a top 4 PL players of all time is beyond me."

One remarked: "As if it wasn't bad enough, he picked Eden Hazard."

Palmer will no doubt be hoping to one day be chosen on footie fans' Prem Mount Rushmore.
And if the 23-year-old can replicate the form he's shown at Chelsea over the last two seasons, he'll go a long way to being considered a Premier League great.
Palmer bagged a whopping 27 goals and 15 assists in his first season at Stamford Bridge following his £40million move from Manchester City.
He wasn't as prolific last season, scoring only 15 goals and racking up 12 assists.
He did, however, end the season on a high as Chelsea secured Champions League football and won the Conference League, the final of which saw him bag two wonderful assists.

Arrests in Matthew Schofield murder inquiry nearly two years on
Police investigating the murder of a 34-year-old man almost two years ago have made new arrests. Matthew Schofield died in the early hours of 11 June 2022 after being found unresponsive in Belgrave Road, Leicester, following an Wednesday, Leicestershire Police said it had re-arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of murder and had arrested a woman aged 62 on suspicion of assisting an offender. A total of 19 people have so far been arrested in connection with the investigation and 13 people remain suspects, police said, but nobody has ever been charged. The force said work had continued to establish the full circumstances of Mr Schofield's death and identify the people involved in the attack. Det Insp Emma Matts, senior investigating officer in the case, said: "We still have active lines of inquiry we are investigating."As part of this, arrests are still being made as we work to identify people who may have been involved in Matthew's death."Throughout the investigation we have continued to appeal for people to come forward with information which may assist us, and I would make that plea again."Det Insp Matts added: "Matthew's mum, Emma Daniels, remains fully supportive of our investigation and at the heart of this is a grieving mum who deserves to know fully what happened to her son."Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
