Taylor Swift Gets Restraining Order For Alleged Stalker

Hot Topic 🔥 Full coverage and conversation on Taylor Swift Taylor Swift was granted a temporary restraining order Monday against Brian Jason Wagner, a 45-year-old Colorado man who has allegedly visited her home several times and claimed she is the mother of his child, per court documents reviewed by Billboard. The order was signed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Debra R. Archuleta and reportedly requires Wagner to stay at least 100 yards away from Swift and her home. It is set to expire with a June 30 hearing about a potentially more permanent restraining order. Swift wrote in her petition Friday that Wagner first visited her Los Angeles residence on July 9, 2024, and returned at least twice that month. The Grammy winner further noted that she doesn't publicly share her address and never gave it to Wagner. 'Therefore, the fact that Mr. Wagner has determined where I reside and visited the property several times, refusing to leave and claiming to need access, makes me fear for my safety and the safety of my family,' she wrote in the petition reviewed by Billboard. Swift said he once arrived 'carrying a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon.' 'During each of these visits, I am informed that Mr. Wagner made various statements about living at my property (not true), being in a relationship with me (not true), believing I am the mother of his son (not true), and needing to see me in person,' she added in her filing. Swift's legal proceedings were only launched after two more visits from Wagner last month, however, when her staff ran a background check and learned he had a criminal record and had claimed in 'lengthy communications' from jail that he was in a relationship with Swift. Wagner allegedly even illegally obtained a California driver's license listing Swift's address as his own. The singer, who unfortunately has a lot of experience with stalkers, described his claims as 'disconnected from reality' in her filing. In 2017, 29-year-old Mohammed Jaffar entered Swift's apartment building in New York City after harassing her management company, fawning over Swift on social media and describing her security guard as a 'gatekeeper,' The Guardian reported at the time. In 2018, 22-year-old Roger Alvarado broke in and used her shower before taking a nap in Swift's bed. Later that year, another man reportedly traveled more than 1,000 miles to her Los Angeles home with ammunition, a knife, rope and gloves in his car. Swift has used facial-recognition technology to identify potential stalkers at her concerts. The singer, who recently triumphed in a yearslong fight to reclaim the rights to her first six albums, wrapped her Eras Tour in December. The effort became the highest-grossing tour of all time, and the first to earn more than $1 billion — and $2 billion — in revenue.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have cozy date night in Florida amid singer's rumored fallout with Blake Lively

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had a low-key date night in Florida amid the singer's rumored friendship fallout with Blake Lively. The pair was spotted having dinner at Harry's restaurant in West Palm Beach on Friday night. MMA fighter Jose Andres Cortes shared a photo on his Instagram Story of the couple looking cozy while sitting side-by-side in a booth and enjoying some drinks before having their entrees. Another snap posted by singer Mark Morrison caught the Grammy winner making an excited facial expression while seated at the table. A source told TMZ that the lovebirds, both 35, entered the restaurant holding hands before Swift walked ahead of Kelce. The 'Cruel Summer' songstress wore a floral off-the-shoulder sundress for the romantic outing and styled her hair in a loose bun. The NFL star, on the other hand, wore a printed black-and-white button-down shirt with tan pants. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been renting a $20 million mansion in Boca Raton, Fla., while training in the offseason. The outing comes after it was reported that Swift is further distancing herself from her longtime pal Lively after being subpoenaed in the 'Gossip Girl' alum's ongoing legal feud with Justin Baldoni. 'Right now, if Taylor had one wish, it would be that she never met Blake,' an insider claimed to the Daily Mail Thursday.'Although there have been good times during their relationship, the issues now concerning the Baldoni case have outweighed them.' 'When Taylor looks back at their friendship, she realizes it wasn't worth all the stress Blake put her through. She can now see all the red flags that should have been a warning to her,' the source further alleged. Kelce is said to be supporting his girlfriend in the drama — even unfollowing Ryan Reynolds, Lively's husband, on Instagram. Baldoni's lawyers originally subpoenaed Swift on the belief that she played a role in Lively's alleged attempts to take control of 'It Ends With Us.' In Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, the 'Jane the Virgin' alum claimed the 'Another Simple Favor' star name-dropped Swift to push her script rewrites. Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman went on to allege in a written affidavit to the court that Lively's lawyer threatened to release Swift's private texts if she did not publicly support the actress. She also allegedly demanded that Swift delete their messages. Baldoni and his legal team dropped Swift's subpoena earlier this week after reportedly getting the information they wanted. A source told Page Six of the situation: 'When information is voluntarily received, there is no need for subpoenas.' Lively's rep commented on the matter in a statement to Deadline, saying, 'We are pleased that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties have withdrawn their harassing subpoenas to Taylor Swift and her law firm. Lively and Baldoni are expected to face off in court in March 2026.

Taylor Swift reveals fate of debut album re-recording amid shock news she bought back her masters

'Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version)' may be coming soon. Taylor Swift revealed she has re-recorded her self-titled debut album despite buying back her masters. 'I've already re-recorded my entire debut album. And I really love how it sounds now,' the pop superstar, 35, said in a statement on her website Friday of her 2006 album, which featured hits like 'Tim McGraw,' 'Teardrops on My Guitar' and 'Our Song.' Swift made the revelation while addressing why the re-recording of 'Reputation' has been so delayed. She admitted of her sixth studio album, which was first released in 2017, 'I haven't even re-recorded a quarter of it,' noting she 'kept hitting a stopping point' when she attempted to re-record it. However, Swift told her loyal fans she's open to the idea that both her debut album and 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' will 'have their moment to re-emerge when the time is right, if that is something you guys would be excited about.' 'But if it happens, it won't be from a place of sadness and longing for what I wish I could have. It will just be a celebration now,' the Grammy winner noted, referencing the major news surrounding her headline-making deal comes about six years after she and famed music manager Scooter Braun publicly feuded over the sale of her records. Braun, 49, bought the masters in 2019 for $300 million with the 'You Belong With Me' singer alleging that the transaction was made without her approval. Braun then sold them to Shamrock Capital in 2020. 'This was the second time my music had been sold without my knowledge. The letter told me that they wanted to reach out before the sale to let me know, but that Scooter Braun had required that they make no contact with me or my team, or the deal would be off,' Swift claimed via X in November of that year. As a result of the bad blood, the 'Shake It Off' singer re-recorded four of her albums, releasing 'Fearless (Taylor's Version),' 'Red (Taylor's Version),' 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version),' and '1989 (Taylor's Version).' Page Six exclusively reported last week that Swift was finally given the chance to buy back the originals. Sources told us at the time that Shamrock Capital had become interested in selling them back to her. We were also told Braun was allegedly encouraging the company to follow through with the sale.
