This is the powerful story behind One Man's Vision, the upcoming feature film inspired by the life of inventor Ralph Teetor - the mind behind Cruise Control - who lost his sight at age five but never lost his vision of what was possible.
Inspired by the book, One Man's Vision, by the late Marjorie Teetor Meyer, the film is a collaboration between Brookwell McNamara Entertainment, Blind Logic Productions, and Bernstein/Romero Productions. At its core, it's a story of iron-willed perseverance, love, and how one man refused to be defined by his blindness and instead shaped the future of the American automotive industry.
An American triumph over tragedy story that follows a man who overcomes unthinkable odds. Ralph Teetor lived his life as a sighted person. His own daughter didn't know he was blind until age 10.
Reuniting the team behind the 2024 biopic Reagan, the film will be written by Howard "Howie" Klausner and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Sean McNamara. Producers include David Brookwell, Jack Teetor, and Gary Bernstein, with Klausner also serving as executive producer.
McNamara's credits include Soul Surfer, On a Wing and a Prayer, and the upcoming John O'Leary story Soul on Fire, for Sony Pictures and Emile Hirsch's Holocaust drama Bau: Artist at War, for Paramount Pictures. Klausner's writing includes Space Cowboy's (Clint Eastwood), The Last Ride, and The Identical. David Brookwell brings decades of experience in feature films and television.
This film was sparked by Ralph Teetor's great nephew, Jack Teetor, who produced the award-winning documentary, Blind Logic, premiering on July 8th on digital platforms and cable providers. "Ralph's legacy goes far beyond Cruise Control," said Jack Teetor. "It's about resilience, imagination, and a love story that fueled his pursuit of achievement."

Producers Gary Bernstein & Ernesto Romero introduced Brookwell McNamara to Jack Teetor and discussed a feature film about Ralph Teetor's life. Gary Bernstein produced the highest rated series on six different networks including "Lingo" which has been on the air for five decades.
Bernstein commented, "After reading the book, 'One Man's Vision,' I knew immediately it needed to be a motion picture and I'm excited to play a role in bringing it to fruition. Ralph Teetor's life story caused a major positive paradigm shift in my life and I'm certain the motion picture will do the same for millions of others."

TikTok is testing its own version of Instagram's ‘broadcast channels'
TikTok is testing a new messaging tool called 'bulletin boards,' the social network confirmed to TechCrunch on Friday. The feature lets brands and creators share public, one-to-many messages to their followers. Bulletin boards are pretty similar to Instagram's broadcast channels feature that launched in 2023. Just like with broadcast channels on Instagram, only the creator of a bulletin board can post messages, and followers are limited to leaving emoji reactions. Bulletin boards support both text and image posts. The feature was first spotted by Threads user Christina Garnett. The idea behind the feature is to allow creators and brands to share updates, behind-the-scenes content, and engage with their followers in a more direct way. For example, rather than posting updates through a Story or regular post on TikTok, brands and creators can share them on their bulletin board. The feature also lets accounts promote their content by directly sending it to followers. Given that bulletin boards are test feature, it's unknown whether TikTok plans to roll it out out more widely. Plus, it's possible that TikTok may add more functionality. Instagram's broadcast channels, for example, let creators post polls. The launch of bulletin boards is the latest example of one social network borrowing features from another. Back in 2022, TikTok launched Stories, along with support for photos, in order to take on Instagram. Of course, Instagram copied TikTok's entire playbook with the launch of Reels in 2020.

Matt Reeves Confirms THE BATMAN: PART II Script Is Finished — GeekTyrant
It's been a long and winding road, but The Batman: Part II is finally making progress in a very real and exciting way. Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that the script for the highly anticipated sequel is done. He shared the news with a photo on X, showing himself and co-writer Mattson Tomlin on a couch with the finished screenplay resting on the table in front of them. Reeves captioned the image, 'Partners in Crime (Fighters.' After some fans have expressed their frustration with the development cycle, this moment should be a small sigh of relief for them. Ever since the sequel was announced back in April 2022, The Batman: Part II has faced more delays. James Gunn, now co-head of DC Studios, previously addressed fans' concerns, explaining that the holdup stemmed from the script still being in the works. 'Be patient,' he urged, backing Reeves and his creative process. Now that patience is paying off. The Batman: Part II is currently scheduled to hit theaters in October 2027. If everything stays on track, production is expected to begin next year, likely after Robert Pattinson wraps Dune: Messiah . Pattinson will return as Bruce Wayne, and we can probably expect Andy Serkis as Alfred and Colin Farrell's Penguin to resurface. While Gunn has described the film as 'really important' to DC's future, it exists outside of the mainline DCU continuity under the 'Elseworlds' label. That means it can keep its own tone, cast, and worldbuilding without having to mesh with upcoming DCU projects like The Brave and the Bold , which will introduce a new Batman entirely. Gunn knows the two versions will need to be distinct, and Reeves has more than proven he can carve out something unique. Now that the script is finished, the next step is likely approval from Gunn. We don't yet know who the new villain will be, but Reeves has teased something unexpected, someone that will 'surprise' fans. Considering the chilling presence of Paul Dano's Riddler in the first film, that's a high bar to clear. But Reeves has shown with The Batman and The Penguin series that he understands Gotham on a deep level. There's still a long way to go, but the Bat-symbol on a table, promising that this story will continue.

Yankees announce "Seinfeld Night" with George Constanza bobblehead giveaway for August game against Red Sox
The New York Yankees are once again hosting a "Seinfeld"-themed night this summer, with a new George Constanza bobblehead giveaway planned for fans at the game. "Seinfeld Night" is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21 at 7:15 p.m., when the Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox.
