EXCLUSIVE Sexting cheat boyfriend caught out 'in a genius way' by his furious girlfriend reveals what happened next
A sext-cheat boyfriend whose spectacular 'dumping' was exposed in a viral TikTok video viewed by 1.2million people has broken his silence to say: 'I have to take it like a man'.
Bartender and model Oliver Murphy, 22, was caught sexting another girl by his student girlfriend Melissa Viegas, who hatched a cunning plan to expose him in the most embarrassing way possible.
In league with the woman who Murphy had sent multiple sex texts to, masters student Melissa printed out screenshots of all the messages and taped them together in her 'break-up' sympathy card, delivered to him at work in front of colleagues.
Her resulting TikTok video went viral, but speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Oliver revealed that not only did he lose his girlfriend that Saturday night ten days ago, but also his home.
Shortly before Melissa dropped her bombshell, her younger brother used a ruse to ask Oliver to borrow the keys to the flat the couple shared so that she could move all his belongings out to a mutual friend's.
'Since then, I've been homeless, sleeping on my boss's sofa,' said Oliver, who lives in Manchester but is originally from London.
'I'm not saying I did nothing wrong,' he said. 'I absolutely did – I f***** up big time, but to me the punishment is way out of proportion to my offence.
'I'm a young guy and yes, we make mistakes sometimes, but in the old days, if you did something stupid like I've done, you'd get dumped and that would be the end of it, but my shame has been sent half way round the world and back!

Melissa has told how she messaged by the woman Oliver had been secretly sexting a few weeks back when the couple were in bed together
'I do feel bad about what I did, but I never cheated on her, it was all just flirting. It doesn't really reflect my real character, and I do feel it's unfair to have the whole thing go viral in this way.'
Oliver said that when he told his elder sister what had happened, he had 'a little cry, but she just told me to face up to what I'd done and move on with my life, and that's what I'm going to do – take it like a man.'
He told MailOnline that the couple first met two years ago in a bar in Manchester, and he recognised Melissa as a girl who had been messaging him on his Instagram account.
'We had good times together, but for the last year there were problems in the relationship and I'm not just talking about me sexting,' he claimed.
Melissa has told how she messaged by the woman Oliver had been secretly sexting a few weeks back when the couple were in bed together.
'He tries to plan to see her multiple times,' recalled Melissa. 'He was really full-on sexting. It really scarred me. It was horrible, especially seeing him call her the pet names he calls me,' Melissa said.
'So when that girl sent me all those receipts I knew I had all I needed and I wasn't going to put myself through anything like this again.'
Oliver said that when Melissa went to the library, she told him it was to study, but in fact, as her TikTok reel showed, she was photocopying all the texts he had sent the other girl.
Oliver insisted that even if the other girl had been more receptive, he wouldn't have cheated on his partner.
'I was in a relationship and for me there's a boundary point. It was just flirting on my part, and I think my relationship with Melissa was certainly coming to an end, I wouldn't have done anything before we'd broken up.
'She just beat me to it.'
He said the confrontation in the bar where he worked left him 'gob-smacked', but shortly before, Melissa had asked him for £1,000 as his share of the rent, telling him she wanted to 'pay it early.'
'It was a very busy Saturday night, and it was obvious that she was breaking up with me because the card was addressed to 'my ex', but when the receipts all fell out of the card, I just couldn't believe it.
'My colleagues, most of whom are older than me, were sympathetic, and said 'WTF', and that it was 'harsh' and stuff like that. Then the penny dropped about her brother and the key, and the rent, so I realised I was also homeless, but I didn't have a lot of time to think about it, because the work was full on. I asked for the £1,000 back, but I haven't received it.'
Worse was to come three days later when the TikTok video dropped online.
'It was a mate who told me about it, saying 'Oh, Oli, what have you done now?' but I couldn't see it on my own phone because of course I'd been blocked. When I asked to borrow a friend's, I could see that half a million people had already watched it and I felt sick to my stomach.
'It wasn't as if I broke the law or anything, but the price I've paid is way out of line with what I've done. However, I've got to be the man and just move on and try and be a better person.
'It's taught me that lesson at least, that I should think through the consequences more and I'm going to try and save up enough to get myself a place of my own in Manchester, if my boss doesn't mind me staying a few months.
'I'm not going to resent Melissa for what she's done, I only wish her well – I've got no bad will against her, I just need to move on from this.'

Nationwide police operation on grooming gangs announced
A nationwide police operation to track down those in grooming gangs has been announced by the Home Office. The National Crime Agency (NCA) will target those who have sexually exploited children as part of a grooming gang, and will investigate cases that were not previously progressed. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said in a statement: "The vulnerable young girls who suffered unimaginable abuse at the hands of groups of adult men have now grown into brave women who are rightly demanding justice for what they went through when they were just children. "Not enough people listened to them then. That was wrong and unforgivable. We are changing that now. "More than 800 grooming gang cases have already been identified by police after I asked them to look again at cases which had closed too early. "Now we are asking the National Crime Agency to lead a major nationwide operation to track down more perpetrators and bring them to justice." 1:40 The NCA will work in partnership with police forces around the country and specialist officers from the Child Sexual Exploitation Taskforce, Operation Hydrant - which supports police forces to address all complex and high-profile cases of child sexual abuse - and the Tackling Organised Exploitation Programme. It comes after Sir Keir Starmer announced a national inquiry into child sex abuse on Saturday, ahead of the release of a government-requested audit into the scale of grooming gangs across the country, which concluded a nationwide probe was necessary. The prime minister previously argued a national inquiry was not necessary, but changed his view following an audit into group-based child sexual abuse led by Baroness Casey, set to be published next week. Ms Cooper is set to address parliament on Monday about the findings of the near 200-page report, which is expected to warn that white British girls were "institutionally ignored for fear of racism". One person familiar with the report said it details the institutional failures in treating young girls and cites a decade of lost action from the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), set up in 2014 to investigate grooming gangs in Rotherham. The report is also expected to link illegal immigration with the exploitation of young girls. Kemi Badenoch, the Conservative leader, said on Saturday that Sir Keir should recognise "he made a mistake and apologise for six wasted months". Speaking to Sky's Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips, Chancellor Rachel Reeves refused to say if the government will apologise for dismissing calls for a national public inquiry into grooming gangs. 18:00 She said: "What is the most important thing here? It is the victims, and it's not people's hurt feelings about how they have been spoken about."
