Tottenham on verge of securing Ange Postecoglou's successor
Tottenham is close to appointing Thomas Frank as their new manager following Ange Postecoglou 's dismissal on Friday.
Positive discussions have taken place over the weekend, increasing confidence that Frank will replace Postecoglou.
Nearly all details have been agreed upon, but the compensation fee is yet to be finalised, with Brentford seeking £10m for Frank's release.
Frank has impressed at Brentford since 2018, leading them to the Premier League and consolidating their top-flight status; Brentford finished 10th last season, 18 points ahead of Tottenham.
If Frank joins Tottenham, he will reunite with technical director Johan Lange, with whom he previously worked at Lyngby.
