A brilliant charge on the back nine saw France's Adrien Saddier claim a first European title on his 200th start at the Italian Open.Saddier trailed compatriot Martin Couvra by three shots at the turn, but a run of five birdies over seven holes on the closing stretch sealed a two-stroke victory at the Argentario Golf Club.The 33-year-old finished with a four-under 66 to end on 14 under for the tournament, with Couvra second after carding a final round 69.Saddier, who made his Tour debut in 2014, was visibly emotional after claiming his long-awaited maiden win."It's great. It's taken so much work to be able to do this. I'm just grateful," he said."I started the back nine really good and I just said 'just stay in your own zone, just keep focused, make the putts'. And I did it."Their one-two finish means Saddier and Couvra have both earned places at the Open Championship at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland next month. Scotland's Calum Hill and England's Dan Bradbury shared third place on 10 under.

And no, we aren't sure what it's upset about either, given the current car is already quite successful. Key changes for the Evo include revised aero, helping the car to be 'even more competitive in all conditions'. The six-speed sequential transmission has also been tweaked to offer better torque delivery at both low and high speeds. Compared to the road car, the twin-turbo V6 is mounted slightly further forward, reducing the centre of gravity and providing greater torsional rigidity. Carlos Alcaraz has become one of the most popular players in the world, but one tennis star does not care about that and has banned his son from speaking to him Fabio Fognini has jokingly admitted to upsetting his own son by forbidding him from speaking to Wimbledon opponent Carlos Alcaraz. The fiery Italian was drawn to face the Spaniard in the opening match on Centre Court. Fognini's eldest son, Federico, was so excited about the prospect of his father facing the defending Wimbledon champion that he phoned the current World No. 138 immediately. Young Federico is a huge fan of Alcaraz and his Italian compatriot Jannik Sinner. But upon reaching SW19, Fognini barred his son from chatting with Alcaraz, who has two Wimbledon titles to his name. Fognini admitted Federico was rather disappointed and 'angry' with his father's order, when he told AS: "Obviously, with these guys, there's little to think about. "Two days ago, when the draw came out, my son called me and said, 'Dad, see, you're playing against Carlitos.' And I said, 'Yes, do you want to come?' "[He said] 'Yes, yes, yes, I'm coming, I'm coming.' And [my wife] Flavia, also with the little girl, is coming to watch the game. "Now, when [my eldest son] saw him, I told him, 'Don't say hello to him, because he's my opponent tomorrow,' and he got angry." Before the Italian Open in spring, Fognini hinted that this Wimbledon campaign could be his last as a player. The former World No. 7 has enjoyed many battles against the likes of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray throughout his career. With his vast experience, Fognini knows a thing or two about what makes a champion. Looking back on his experience, he believes Alcaraz and Sinner can reach the same dizzying heights as the so-called 'Big Four.' He added: "Honestly, I'm happy, because with everything I've done, playing against Carlitos here is worth it. "Right now, he's the most in-form player on tour. He won last time. It couldn't have been better. Obviously, in terms of tennis and winning matches, I would have liked to play him a little later, but that's the way it is. "Exactly, that's how I see it. I know him well, even though he's quite young. What he's achieving, alongside Jannik, is like seeing a little bit of my era, that of Rafa and Roger with Nole. "So at this point, it's a nice reward. I hope I enjoy it as much as I can and play a good match - that's the most important thing."
